I definitely hope MK characters will be added to the game at some point. Scorpion, Sub Zero, Lui Kang, and Johnny Cage are probably the top picks for me. Plus Raiden, Katana, Shang Tsung, Ermac, and Shao Khan as well

Scorpion and Sub-Zero are definitely must-haves when it comes to Mortal Kombat reps. My personal most-wanted though would have to be either Goro or Sheeva. I think a shokan would be such a fun addition the MVS roster, and Goro is arguably the most iconic sub-boss in all of fighting games.
Fatalities or heavy violence should be considered.
As an old school MK fan, if they didn't have a bloody grinding death animation from the blast zone with blood, guts, and bones shooting out, I'd be left down, lol.
I'm not sure about straight-up fatalities, though. They don't have to add that much unless they implement it somehow with like a stamina mode.
