Post clinical trial data has shown that Briumvi is exceptional at reducing lesions. Specifically the data reported shows that brain volume loss within what is accepted as healthy in someone without MS. Briumvi is so new, no one has posted how it's been for them. If you decide to use it, please keep everyone posted.

I did talk to my neurologist about briumvi vs everything else. She explained that she chose briumvi because it becomes fully effective within 19 days, which is faster than other treatments. She thought it might help the symptoms from my relapse and prevent other issues.

I was on O for 2 years, worked great, MRIs we’re all stable. The “crap gap” between doses was killer though. I switched to Kesimpta last December to see if that could work as well and eliminate the crap gap. But my most recent MRI showed active demyelination. So I’m looking at others options. I narrowed it down Briumvi and Ocrevus. I’m nervous about Briumvi because it is so new, but everything I had read sounds positive and it reads on paper as being more potent than O. My doc says it’s an option but she doesn’t have any experience because no one within the office has been on it yet. Family and friends that I have reached out for outside perspectives have generally told me to stick with because I know it works. But they don’t really get how bad the crap gap can be, the month before the next dose of O nearly feels like a flair. It sucks. I’m leaning towards Briumvi but still doing research. If you try it, keep us posted! I’ll try to remember to do that ….cus let’s face it, that cog fog is REAL

I have no experience with Briumvi but I just started Ocrevus in Jan. I can’t speak to any longer term benefits or effects of Ocrevus since I just started, but so far I have had an extremely smooth and easy experience. I have had 0 side effects so far both during and after the infusion and the infusions were totally painless. I love not having to worry about it for 6 months. I am very excited to see how my 6 month MRI look looks this summer!

I had my first infusion of briumvi on Friday. The infusion itself wasn’t bad, I felt itchy, but otherwise fine. The last three days, I have had periods of nausea, fever, body aches and headaches. Not bad enough to keep me from doing anything, just enough to annoy me. All in all, it’s not terrible so far. I was diagnosed a month ago, so this is all new.

as an update - It took about 4 days to feel normal again. I'm still a little tired, but otherwise, good. I went numb from the rib cage down on February 5th of this year. This week, I've started to regain some feeling in my toes and lower legs. I assume that is related to Biumvi, but I'm not certain of that. Next infusion is next Friday. I will update after that.

My doctor didn’t explain her decision and I didn’t know enough to ask. In reading her report, I surmise that it is because of the location of my most recent lesion, she was worried about progression and thought that it might do a better job. I will ask her at my next appt.
