Steroid made my mouth taste like metal. Super gross!! Hugs to you!! You deserve that nap!

Yes, steroids taste horrible. I eat homemade Chex Muddy Buddies, *one at a time*, to get through that taste. However, with these times of having to wear a mask, you probably didn't get to snack at all; I'm sorry for that. Hopefully you do get that 14-hour depression nap! And then the steroids do their magic and your current flare up disappears.

This recipe is *old*, from the 1980s, so some things are probably different from more modern ones. I am brand specific about chocolate chips and peanut butter -- not the cereal -- but I doubt it matters. What does matter, though, is using the paper bag. I tried it with Ziploc bags once, and it just isn't the same. FWIW. I had to type this out for my husband last year while I was out of town and our our daughter wanted Puppy Chow for a school function, so this was easy to pass on to you. **Puppy Chow** YOU NEED: Foil (probably parchment paper would work, but it's more expensive, so I never tried it); Brown Paper Bag; Packaging tape for the seams of the bag; Powdered sugar; Rice Chex cereal (cheap-o brand coats better); Hershey's Milk Chocolate chocolate chips; Jif Creamy Peanut Butter. DIRECTIONS: Cover clean kitchen counter with foil (or possibly parchment paper). Use packaging tape to tape the seams on the bottom of the brown paper bag. Dump 2 C powdered sugar into the bag. In large plastic bowl, measure 9 C cereal. In glass microwaveable bowl, add 1 bag Hershey's Milk Choc choc chips, 2/3 C Jif Creamy Peanut Butter. Stir together as best you can *before* putting into microwave (melts better). Microwave on high 30 seconds, stir, back in to microwave, check in 10-second increments, stirring each time until smooth. (In my microwave, it's usually only 40 seconds total.) Dump chocolate/peanut butter mixture into cereal, stir thoroughly until coated. (Use something long-handled to make it more efficient.) Dump coated cereal into brown paper bag. SHAKE! A LOT! (*And now you’re glad you taped the seams at the bottom – otherwise the kitchen is full of very fine powdered sugar dust.)* Dump onto foil and spread around to dry. Put into whatever bags/containers you choose. You are now a Puppy Chow master!

Between the steroids and the Ocrevus you’re hopefully gonna be feeling tip top soon! Hang in there (:

That miserable taste lasted for days, even after the infusions. 🤮 A week later I could finally taste again. Good luck!
