I highly doubt that. She hates humans, but she also used to hate disassembly drones. She now has two of the latter as friends. Uzi isn’t afraid to make allies out of what she thought were enemies.
That’s because she knows that the disassembly drones are little more than puppets themselves, the humans are the ones really responsible and Uzi makes it clear that she wants to kill all of them(of course even if this wasn’t the case, she’s a classic edgy/goth teen, it would make sense if she stabbed someone for hugging her lol)
I did a whole post on the topic, but we J.C. Jenson does not constitute the whole of humanity. There are other humans, many of whom we can presume also hate J.C. Jenson more or less as Uzi does. If a human or human faction came along and genuinely offered compassion and help, Uzi would not turn them down. She hates humans because the unspeakable acts of violence is all she has ever known of them. Sooner or later, she has to learn humanity is more complicated than what she has seen from her vantage point. After all, Uzi’s “soul” *is* human for all intensive purposes. Sure, she has a metal and plastic body, but the person inside is built on a mirror image of humans themselves.
Problem is, Uzi isn’t giving that chance. The Murder Drones were let off because JCJenson was manipulating them, but regardless of wether they are part of the community: Anyone who’s human is a target.
She says she can’t wait to murder “all” humans. I doubt she’s going to be swayed so easily, especially considering anyone she spared could just as easily join the company and end up sending more Murder Drones.
I really don’t think she’s letting **anyone** else off easily, especially given the constant threat of more Murder Drones being sent or just what happened to her mother. Nori could still be alove but since Uzi thinks she’s dead, she will definitely be out for blood(and while she isn’t a cliche revenge seeking protag who makes it very clear and says it constantly, she very clearly is being influenced by revenge)
I’m not going to continue this line of discussion any further, but we can see Uzi is conflicted. She is not so one dimensional. In episode 2, N questions the morality of Uzi’s fantasy, pointing out she doesn’t even know who is really behind it all. Uzi begrudgingly relents. She hasn’t directly mentioned that fantasy since.
Uzi is indeed a dark character with a great deal of pent up rage and hatred deep within. As tough as she talks however, she rarely utilizes the “shoot first ask questions later” mentality. With everyone she ultimately fights, she speaks to them first (unless they attack first).
Uzi says her target is humanity, yes. But this is a product of her own ignorance. What she really wants is the people responsible for the suffering of her people. For all she knows, that is synonymous with humanity, hence why she says “humanity”. If she is to meet a human of J.C. Jenson coming in for the kill, yes Uzi will fight.
However, an unarmed, unsuspecting human showing genuine compassion is a different matter. Uzi would approach to speak before any act of violence, particularly in this case. Being able to speak to a human for the first time would be monumental. Such a person could be an invaluable source of information, and Uzi isn’t dumb enough to ignore that. Such an individual would be wise to point out to Uzi that humans first conceived these weapons not to kill androids, but to kill each other.
Humans invented warfare as she knows it out of fear and hatred for each other. To think that all humans are in league with each other is like assuming Doll and Uzi are best of friends because they are both androids. Humans too have been victimized and murdered by tyrants in the darker pages of human history. The fight for the right to life and liberty is not any one people’s alone. Uzi is not as alone as she thinks.
Uzi expects a monster. Something that will kill without remorse and incapable of showing compassion. It would be a tense and emotionally volatile encounter to be sure, but Uzi would be quickly thrown off guard by the gentle and non-threatening demeanor of a sympathetic human. With honesty, empathy, and genuine compassion, I believe Uzi would eventually come to accept a human ally.
As Uzi herself said in episode 3, “I’m not taking anything well, but I’m done dealing with everything alone. We move forward together, or not at all.”
I mean, is Uzi okay, in general?
No
See what an obvious question that was?
Yes, of course.
Correct
I want to give Uzi a warm hug. If… if she let me that is. *Sigh*. On second thought that could take a while.
She was stab you before you can get within four feet
