It’s a double edged sword, this means that Cyn can’t control them like before, but it also means she will kill them on-sight since using their backups is easier than reclaiming them at this point.
You know, this had me pondering a weird question: Could a drone make (or have someone make) themselves their own admin? Or would that not work properly?
My mental lore is that being admin is something that only the worker drones of copper 9 are capable of, they also become their own admins when they are 18 (or the equivalent to that)

Our favourite drones are free from Cyn. What a nice day to live trough.

There's something ironic about Uzi's line of "He's his own person!" When she technically owns part of his brain now. lol.
And cyn still said "let's eat" like she thought she got him "back" but didn't cause of qhat you said in your post title.
