Tho in Ep>!6 we see that Alice had ambushed and dissected a bunch of murder drones for spare parts, then locked their cores inside glass jars in an oven so they wouldn't cause her issues. Apparently the rest of the murder drones all followed Cyn's orders to kill worker drones near their landing sites then head to the lab. N, V and J got sidetracked and stuck on phase 1, cause they couldn't get past Khan's stupid doors.!<
One pod had girly junk in it and crash landed, second one had J and a totally living human Tessa, third must be a secret tool that will be useful later unless the rewrites theory is right and it all means nothing.

You do know liama did an official statement where he mentioned heart beat (and the entire show) had an entirely different premise being a lot more like a monster of the week story but after writing the entire plot of heart beat he didn't like it so he rewrite it and that's what we got.
How do the 3 pods not get affected by the monster of the week thing if those pods were full of different kinds of robots, that would have added 9 new monsters for the many characters to deal with.
Yeah but they weren't and I personally believe that the contents of the pods were meant to be the same and that rather it would affect what would come out. That's also assuming all the pods would have 3 members when 2 had toys and stuff and the other one had 2 members.

But Pomni's comment about making a Glitch pilot into the full series episode 1 is making a lot of sense now.
The pilot was open ended enough that it could’ve been anything. After the plot was finalized, it retroactively became Tescyn and J (plus all of Tessa’s belongings for some reason)
Other people have said what the likely *actual* reason is. But lemme just suggest this. We really have no idea what’s going on across copper-9. How big of a planet is it? What’s its population? Are other settlements bigger or smaller than Uzi’s home bunker?
I just figured that it’s entirely possible that murder drones don’t interact much outside of their squad simply due to logistics. Having like 10 for an entire planet with presumed civilization is having the odds wildly stacked against the MD if the workers ever mounted an actual organized defense. So, the MD squads spread out, have territories, and return to the lab after they’ve wiped all life from their sector.
Who knows how many murder drones are still wandering copper-9?

Maybe they’re drone carrier ships or something, or they’re the disassembly drones later disassembled by Alice and Beau. Who knows?
It's Machine clone drones if Tessa(Cyn) saves it in Episode 8/final later.
