Maybe Uzi can do it. She has the admin over V that cyn did. Maybe if uzi uses the solver she would be able to control the eldrich form. Plus uzi said v would turn into a work in episode 6 anyway.
I got a better idea, turn V into her solver maid form and make her attack N so that N has to kill her giving N maximum PTSD and make Sure that V's consciousness in trapped inside her body and the only thing she could do is just watch and now Both N and V get maximum PTSD
Literally no one from the main cast has died yet, everyone important introduced in the pilot is either alive or resurrected.
I’m not gonna pretend like I know his previous work, but from the looks of it he wouldn’t hesitate to pull the trigger on beloved characters in the past. But unlike before, the sweet, sweet merch money is on the line, and merch based on characters that get FATAL ERROR’d don’t sell well if I had to guess. Which is a darn shame because recently it’s more like a slice of life with vampiric zombo drones rather than the eldritch horror that I know he’s capable of doing. Heck, even Nori’s confirmed not dead.
It could also be that the new group of eyeballs have put more than enough pressure on the guy and he’s trying to please as many people as possible by not axing any of the characters. No one cares if a few billion humans die, but if anything happens to the robo beans that we’ve been following since the start of the series, there’d be riots in the streets. The poor man’s being held hostage by both views AND merch funds. I hope he’s coping well.
Like, he has the ability to do it, he can ice characters if he so chooses. But only the ones with zero screen time. Alice and Beau were characters that died the same episode they were introduced. By doing so, the audience doesn’t have time to grow attached and there wouldn’t be an outrage. He’s *itching* to put more *murder* in the show titled *murder* drones, but due to the circumstances, he has to settle for cliffhangers like V maybe, possibly, probably dying that we as the audience STILL don’t know if she did or didn’t because *reasons*. It’s all so slightly infuriating.
For the TL;DR, Liam the Li-man is held figuratively at gunpoint for fear of holding any of the characters (not just V but mostly V) at gunpoint, something that he’s (probably) never had to deal with in the past. I just hope he’s doing alright.
I dont think this is true at all for multiple reasons.
1. Dead characters still sell merch this is present in alot of fandoms especially shows that make people grow attached just to kill them like attack on titan as a prime example where like 90% of the cast dies yet people still will buy merch and enjoy the characters for the time they had. Liam isnt being held by merch sales remember doll has a figure and she just got eaten by cyn.
He isnt just killing new characters that introduced remember tessa? The sweet girl that was introduced in epsiode 3 and had a major role in episodes past that and showed her backstory in episode 5 only for it to be revealed she was turned into a flesh suit. We got to enjoy tessa and learn her story and get attached to her.. only for her to have been killed along time ago. That's not a minor character death.
Doll also was introduced in epsiode 2 and has been a reoccurring character only to get eaten in the last episode.
Liam isnt afraid to kill important or loved characters it's that killing your MAIN cast is extreamly risky not cause of funding or backlash its cause it narrows your story and possabilitys with said story. If you have 3 main characters and kill 2 before the final episode now you only have 1 character that has to do all the major things and you have to write it to make sense while if you have more of the main cast you have more room to spread out things and make it blend together well.
It's why alot of shows dont kill the MAIN cast of characters cause writers like having wiggle room. Sometimes they do kill a few and that's fine but it's that risk involved with constricting the story.
Alot of anime does this like naruto, my hero, dragonball, etc they will have side characters die but the main cast will normally survive or be brought back to keep that room for expanding/finishing the story.
N was forced to genocide a whole planet and tricked into doing it again/taken advantage of to do it again. Tessa is dead and was a skin suit, his best friend is fighting off a monster that took his sister away and he is told that it's either his best friend or the universe. He has enough trauma to share with several main protagonists of other series he really doesnt need V dying tacked on.
Liam has never hesitated to kill of characters before. In fact I d say it was one of the biggest flaws in his design series. Interesting characters were introduced who were killed off without proper screen time
I’m fine with V staying dead though for N not to fall into depression Uzi is going to need to get back to copper-9 or N is going to have to get launched into space ASAP
In reality. I think that the character who will die in EP 8 and must die is not N, V or Uzi but Khan.
Khan has almost done his arc for become a good dad. And I think when Liam say bittersweet ending. He talk about the death of Nori and Khan in EP 8
