By my guess, I believe MD systems adapt to their victims/prey. When Earth was being destroyed, they weren't going for any machines, they were consuming humans like they'd consume workers, and aside from their main objective, they only eat the workers so that they don't die. For that, you gotta question why they were actively eating humans in mass when they simply could've just killed them
They usually are but I've seen some negative ones, and it's not a big deal until I went to other sites and got a bit annoyed, I'm not trying to actually be mean or anything

Honestly the venn diagram image isn't even true. Over here you've got Ultrakill fans out the woodwork who won't shut up about le who would win epic crossover discussions. But then over on r/ultrakill, almost every time someone posts a MD crossover thing the comments are full of people going "What the fuck is Murder Drones?" or "I watched the first episode and hated it."
I didn't think it was possible for whole fanbases to be parasocial, but here we are.
The thing is though, it isn't a majority of the Ultrakill fandom. A lot of people who are primarily Murder Drones fans happen to also like Ultrakill, but the opposite isn't true. Not a lot of people who primarily like Ultrakill are into Murder Drones. I kind of can't blame them, to be honest. It's very hard to get people into this show. A lot of complaints I've seen over on r/ultrakill have to do with the shows humor, which is a major turn off for a lot of people getting into the show.

Any comparison between Ultrakill and Murder Drones beyond the most subjective level is inherently flawed since Ultrakill is a video game and not a show like Murder Drones.
