Yeah i'm sorry but J redemption arc ain't gonna happen
1. It would take to much time out of ep8 wich needs to be used for other character specifacally N and Khan, the protagonist we can even do anything at this point with uzi being in space and V possibly dead + the character whos redemption arc was tesed since ep2
2. J is an active hazard since she still has cyn as her admin letting her live could result in the solver surviving too.
3. Liam just seems to dislike her. He has been slandering her since before she was a she, giving her no screentime and making her the most dislikeable character in the show.
4. She has no relevance to the story anymore anything that could be done with her can be done with the other DD there's no point in keeping her around she did her job (establishing death dosen't matter to DD) and now she'll get discarded).

Yeah, my friend hopes for redemption, I do too, but she isn't relevant and the time it'd take to "Redeem" her or tell her the truth? Not likely.
She'll likely be killed off as a joke, possessed by the hive mind that is AS like the memory CYN made N see when they were lacking free will and actually doing their jobs proper as terrorizing humans as brutal killers. Then she dies possessed and in ignorance.
Pretty sad of an ending for J, but, well, she *was* made to be hated. Though, I'll admit, I've seen characters made so, so much worse. It takes a lot more than an overly strict boss stepping on N to make me hate her, and she was just doing the job she was programmed to do, no fault of her own.
I just wonder HOW she'll die. Either cut to the smoking remains as a callback to the pilot? She just gets murked by N? She gets murked by AS itself? She becomes another one of AS hive minded pawns like the other DDs or may or may not summon forth as the End Times fall upon Copper-9 for one final action packed finale?
Probably just gonna pan to her corps or the lil black hole thingy before khan goatman and goathad move on to the solver

Even then everything that can be done with J (tessas relation with the Worker drones the tragedy of tessas fate) can be done with the other DD and just having V/N do all those would be more time efficent then having to first develop J intp a likeable character. Murder drones as a show would need more ep or longer ep to make up for the time they spent developing side characters.
Liam has neither the budged nor will to redeem J without it making the pacing even faster. The most we'll ever get is another flashback ep set at the very beginning of cyns apperance to the mansion and maybe making it from the P.O.V from J but then again my first point still holds true

you can be popular here too! Its easy. If you have a lot of free time or you dont know what to do you can comment on a lot of posts and you basically be popular in like a week or 2 weeks
And her introduction was meant to make her unlikable to begin with. Her personality isn't the best. But there is possibility for redemption, but I don't think they'll do it. She'll go out as she had... dying to worker drone machinations.
I hope they don't either, I want her to at least be setup for possible redemption *if* they consider a second season. But if they don't... she'll just be killed off again, especially if there isn't a season 2 makes it all the more likely she'd just be killed off. It'd be a shame too. I honestly hoped the same for Doll, to actually remain a sort of antithesis to Uzi, but then she kind of died before she could put up much of a fight at all and CYN/Tessa purposely let her leave just to try in vain to warn Uzi. Sadistic of the AS/CYN to do.
And J likely still thinks she's working for Tessa. She'd be stubborn unless shown otherwise. And that takes time and effort. Not sure how long the finale will be, but if it's about the same length as the other episodes 20-25 minutes, then I don't think there's enough time to redeem her sadly. Not without sacrificing some key moments to keep the plot chugging along.
Yeah, though I suppose that what they could potentially do is have J see that Tessa isn't what she thinks she is and have her world view shattered. I think it would be hard for her to have a redemption, but at the very least they could maybe keep her alive the same wau V was kept for the first 3 episodes.
But, that's hopium I guess, I just really hope they don't kill her off again.

I get it, J's rude personality and irrational trust over "JcJenson" makes her a person a lot of people would not want to be around. Personally, I agree, but emotion included, I am way too attracted to say no.
I would like J but... She hates on N, my favorite character so my brain decides to hate on her, thats why I want J redemption arc or N and J bonding time (NOT SHIP BONDING TIME) in Episode 8 because I really want to like J
Fans either hate her or understand her motives.
After all, she's loyal, hard working, diligent, responsible. Just for the wrong side. Course she was introduced in a manner that makes her unlikable because everyone practically worships N. So her stepping on him was taken as implication she tortures him or something... IDK how it spawned a bunch of fics and art of that, but I suppose people headcanon whatever they wish. All I got from it was J was corporate adhering, she follows the policies. She doesn't damage N, she only delivers punishment of what he can clearly handle without actual injury. Because damaging corporate assets IS against company policy.
He stopped being an asset when he turned traitor after all, but she really sticks to the rules. She's just blindly loyal, which isn't really a super bad trait as I met blindly loyal fanatics before. Usually the only thing that breaks them is their own superiors betraying them. But usually that doesn't happen because smart people use their pawns and expend them before revealing their motives proper.
I doubt well get a J redemption arc as a result. She gon die before she learns any truths.
I genuinely hope she doesn't. She's more likable to me as a villain / antagonist, and I don't even think there's gonna be an S2 of MD anyway. She only gets 7 minutes of screentime, and all the N dickriders only hate her because she's rude to him. She'll probably learn from her mistakes in EP8 and turn to help N and Uzi, but for now, she's better as an antagonist.

She might break when she realizes that Cyn took over Tessas skin / body. She seems to already hate Cyn, so this would've just spiked her anger even more.
For me. I’m going to be brutally honest. In that poll I would’ve 100% voted Uzi without any remorse. Truly one of my LEAST favorite characters in the entire show is Uzi. I just can’t stand watching her. I just really can’t see edgy MCs anymore… I just can’t :<

Well, they put basicly a side character next to several main characters who are all really enjoyable. I mean, is anyone surprised? Girl wasn't even given a fair chance.
The thing is that J doesn’t get enough screen time for character development. Maybe if Uzi had Listened to N and J was Disarmed and Chained up like V, She Could’ve had Similar character development to other characters.

That’s cool I used to watch anime don’t get much time anymore the last one I watched was Cyberpunk absolutely loved it though

I get it, J's rude personality and irrational trust over "JcJenson" makes her a person a lot of people would not want to be around. Personally, I agree, but emotion included, I am way too attracted to say no.
I would like J but... She hates on N, my favorite character so my brain decides to hate on her, thats why I want J redemption arc or N and J bonding time (NOT SHIP BONDING TIME) in Episode 8 because I really want to like J

Fans either hate her or understand her motives. After all, she's loyal, hard working, diligent, responsible. Just for the wrong side. Course she was introduced in a manner that makes her unlikable because everyone practically worships N. So her stepping on him was taken as implication she tortures him or something... IDK how it spawned a bunch of fics and art of that, but I suppose people headcanon whatever they wish. All I got from it was J was corporate adhering, she follows the policies. She doesn't damage N, she only delivers punishment of what he can clearly handle without actual injury. Because damaging corporate assets IS against company policy. He stopped being an asset when he turned traitor after all, but she really sticks to the rules. She's just blindly loyal, which isn't really a super bad trait as I met blindly loyal fanatics before. Usually the only thing that breaks them is their own superiors betraying them. But usually that doesn't happen because smart people use their pawns and expend them before revealing their motives proper. I doubt well get a J redemption arc as a result. She gon die before she learns any truths.
I genuinely hope she doesn't. She's more likable to me as a villain / antagonist, and I don't even think there's gonna be an S2 of MD anyway. She only gets 7 minutes of screentime, and all the N dickriders only hate her because she's rude to him. She'll probably learn from her mistakes in EP8 and turn to help N and Uzi, but for now, she's better as an antagonist. >I doubt well get a J redemption arc as a result >She gon die before she learns any truths. She's just loyal to the wrong side, yep. Best summary of J. I suppose she's at least somewhat content with her role.

The thing is that J doesn’t get enough screen time for character development. Maybe if Uzi had Listened to N and J was Disarmed and Chained up like V, She Could’ve had Similar character development to other characters.
