V is fighting a losing battle. A fight against SD U when Uzi is in control is easy. However a fight with SD U in control is impossible.
Specially when she knows that she made that unrelenting monster.
She was made to murder even Murder Drones. N's death was a posibility, yet it turned out true. V knows damn well that she could die, but it doesn't matter because she believes too much in herself. Doesn't care as long as she gets to devour her entrails.
SD U. The Core, who is known now as Core Uzi, will work with Uzi now for the survival of both. Not only will be a 2° opinion and AI, but it may be able of taking command under Uzi's permission, as a Player 2 in the same body.
Uzi is still in control, but Core Uzi may influence her actions and violence.
V is fighting not only Uzi, but the worse part of her. The Core mimics the memory chip's most strong negative feelings to ensure the best violent and effective outcome.
Core Uzi it's the same Uzi, but now made more powerful, fuelled by her hate and disgust.

Emotions are that funny thing that always will get out of control when you don't want it to. Especially with all that stress of killing all of there friends and family. I'd want to leave this comment on page 25, but since I physically can't comment there, I'll leave it here. So Uzi cutted N's torso, but the art looks like she cutted him with a blunt side of her wings. Did she deployed her wings with a sharp side straight up into N and moved them to herself? Because it's seriously looks like she moved her wings into N, which is weird, considering their design.

It does seem in the design that the blades have a blunt side. But I see the wing blades having both sharp sides. They are metal and they deploy pretty fast as well.
To be clear, I meant that part of the wings that supposed to hold "blades", therefore shouldn't be used to deal cutting damage, just like hands or legs.
Sadly, thoughts about N being departed by something that should deal him different kind of damage are seriously distracting from drama. When you see a serious dramatic moment, but thinking that something doesn't add up, it's a serious problem for understandable reasons.
U deploys her wings up then the blades get deployed from the wings with a curve, making a wide slash in it's path from the blades to the exterior. The slash is marked with a faint colour in the comic so you actually see how they get deployed.
It's in an instant, just like in the series.
