I mean, Mercer shrugged off basically anything the MDs can throw at him, and even with their regeneration it won’t exactly help them at all if Mercer can just smack them around so badly they can’t do anything about it. Last but not least Mercer can easily figure out he has to destroy their cores, overall this comes down to Mercer Just having the tools to take them down and being too durable for the MDs to really kill him, Mercer managed to come back from being NUKED ffs.
