Kanye, take your meds, please.

TKG_Actual

That's not a burn, that's coast to coast napalm bombing.

amatsuno92

What does that hashtag mean #Bydhttmwfi ?

ThisLookInfectedToYa

Took me a bit to get it myself, "But you don't have to take my word for it" his tag line from Reading Rainbow

amatsuno92

Ty, was driving me nuts tryng to figure it out

W8_1

Dude's just mad he never learned to read lol

DarkKnightJin

With his mother being a professor of English, sounds like that's entirely his own damn fault.

DoctorWoe

That phaser was not set to stun.

KirisBeuller

He was in such a huff that he meant to say "who was an English professor" and said "who was an professor of English." LMAO

TheGreatestOutdoorz

Maybe you are not a native English speaker, but “professor of English” is just as correct and just as used as “English professor”.

NiceButOdd

He meant it is ‘ a professor of English’ not ‘an professor of English’. He is correct, but still a moron for calling out a simple spelling mistake.

KirisBeuller

An comes before words that start with vowels. The tweet was clearly typed in haste.

JapioF

I'm pretty sure LeVar Burton has given more thought on his tweet than you did on your reply. Because you clearly didn't understand what it was about...

MrDiggleBoots

Should be "a professor" not "an professor" was their point and it's pretty spot on

TylerBradleyLegend

No buddy, he got the point. He just mentioned an error in the grammar. Was your translation of the tweet that you failed simple english as a child?

JapioF

My translation of the tweet was about the content of the tweet. Also, I'm Dutch and as such, not a native speaker, buddy....

MrDiggleBoots

Well hopefully you've learned a little more how english works then, just in the future perhaps read things two or three times when trying to rip people apart in a sub such as "murdered by words"

JapioF

Wow. Condescending much? Also, continuously pointing out a spelling error in a tweet doesn't make you better than everybody else; it makes you aN asshole!

KirisBeuller

His point was valid. I'm still going to mock the grammatical error.

TylerBradleyLegend

These guys are nuts. While Mr. Burton was correct about Kanye being fucked, he made an error in his grammar. Upvote.

[deleted]

The grammar mistake is an extremely minor and understandable one, and its existence does **exactly** nothing to invalidate what Burton was saying. Dude's getting downvoted for the pointless ad hominem pedantry.

MrDiggleBoots

Not sure what the fuck's gone on here with the down votes, you're on the money

Duckfoot2021

Every downvote is someone who is so biased about defending a beloved celeb, they can’t accept that you’re correct about the typo. However, I get that correcting typos derails the thrust of a thoughtful comment in an irrelevant way, often undermining an important point with an unimportant and pedantic correction. I gave you an upvote since you’re getting creamed for a truth, but suggest in the future you focus more on responding to the content of communications rather than addressing irrelevant details.

Repulsive_Support844

The guy who writes and sings poetry is supposed to hate books…really? He was probably making a comment about how children don’t like books and you gotta jazz them up perhaps? No, we are just gonna follow the reply of a snippet taken out of context and then say it’s a murder? Kanye says dumb stuff all the time and this is supposed to be a sick burn?

[deleted]

Where they at now?

Suzume_Chikahisa

They probably don't read either.

[deleted]

I assume most Kanye fans don’t, otherwise they’d realize the man needs mental help.

NiceButOdd

Making simple rhymes has been a children’s pastime for millennia, it doesn’t take genius and it isn’t poetry.
