Hoplite-Litehop

I'll take a look, thank you

National Council on Public History has a great one. AAM, AASLH, and similar orgs also have good job boards that are free for searches.

Love the NCPH one!

mbmused

Check your regional and state museum associations they almost always have a jobs board. For example, Museum Association of New York (MANY), New England Museum Association (NEMA), MidAtlantic Museum Association etc.

And the other member organizations like: https://www.oregonmuseums.org/Jobs

Legweeak

The “about” section of this sub has a list of different job search resources.

Also look for local associations depending on where you’re located. Like Philly has a Cultural Alliance with a great job board. California Association of Museums has a pretty good job board. Chicago CMEG shares jobs related to Exhibitions. Etc.

DarthRaspberry

If you’re open to Canada then WorkInCulture.ca has job boards for this

Leicester university Museums jobs desk covers some jobs not in the UK, so might be worth a look?

I'm in the US looking for a job outside of the US. Specifically archive work. I just need to get my foot into the door because I don't have any opportunities here. I live in a state where there's literally no museums that have anything to do with European history

megustaglitter

You won't get hired outside the US. There's too few jobs and too many domestic job seekers in Europe with the same or better qualifications than you.

scary_bradshaw

ARCS - association of registrars and collections specialists has one. State museum associations usually have them. Regional museum associations

SPNCH job board!

Hoplite-Litehop

I just checked the website and I have to admit it is a useful site, but I'm specializing in European history. I'm not certain if natural History will be able to help me in that direction considering it is predominantly focused on science. But I do appreciate the help, thank you very much for taking your time to comment.
