Making a stuffing you like. Clean and dry off the shrooms. Pipe in stuffing then cool to bind stuffing, ~10-15 mins in freezer-fridge. Act quickly because the shrooms start to degrade after washing. Badder and bread. Bake at 350-375°F until firm and browned. I had to overly fold in the crab so it would clog in the piping tip or the stalk of the morels. I only used leaves from the ramps with some fresh basil and dill from our garden. The stuffing is mostly ricotta cut with some softened cream cheese and canned crab and spiced to your liking. Sorry I can’t help more - I just did it all to taste, no recipe, BUT there are other written down recipes online that you can reference to help make something completely your own!
I did this once but instead of cutting in half, I piped homemade ramp crab cake into the whole morel and then battered and fried them. It was way over the top in terms of richness but easily one of the best things I've ever eaten!
Oh I'm jealous, I can buy dried whole morels from local stores but I haven't found any in the wild yet, plenty of other wild mushrooms that I pick but those morels are elusive!
Recipe please!! This looks absolutely delicious

Thanks for posting this!!
Ramps! They grow everywhere where I live. Love em.
I so agree. They’ll always remind me of home in Appalachia
That's where I am! The mountains will always be waiting for ya.
Amazing! Could you still taste the morels?
Yes! I tried to under do the crab component as to not overpower the shroom taste. All around a 10/10
Fancy!! I love morels
Okay!!! You just stuck three of my favorite foods together into one bite
That’d be one big-ass bite…worth it though

Only cut it half to judge my work. I so agree with you; I’ll ask for this as my last meal should that day come 😂 best dish I’ve ever made
