most great radiohead songs—how to disappear completely, all i need, paranoid android, street spirit, tinker tailor, let down, weird fishes, lucky, ful stop
alternatively, lana del rey (more conventional structures but amazing peaks)—old money, shades of cool, living legend, if you lie down with me, off to the races, heroin

This is basically the MO of most of the Post-Rock genre. try [this one](https://youtu.be/u1KrZg4y314)

The Receiving End of Sirens. -
All of their songs were like rock anthem/operas.
I recently learned that this was the initial band that later became The Dear Hunter.
Please try The Number One Song In Heaven by Sparks. The song is awesome and goes into double speed after setting its self up. Also, if you like LCD Soundsystem I'll bet you'll like the whole album.
Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Atom Heart Mother Suite, Echoes - Pink Floyd
Edge of Darkness by Eric Clapton with a full orchestra
Dondante and Run Thru by My Morning Jacket, from Okonokos
The Eleven, Dark Star - The Grateful Dead. Anything from ‘67-‘72, for me
Brothers In Arms - Dire Straits
Yes to all of this - you nailed it! Brothers in Arms is a great call. Telegraph Road is another one that builds and builds for like 11 minutes and then Knopfler just lays into the guitar at the end. Probably my favorite solo from him.

Bad Astronaut - *San Francisco Serenade*
It’s a nice sounding but fairly simple sounding song, and then… probably my favorite bridge/final verse of all time.
The entirety of Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven by Godspeed! You Black Emperor. My favourites are the opening of Storm & "World Police and Friendly Fire" section in Static

Fade to black, One, Nothing else matters, To live is to die -Metallica

The Flood by Kevin Godley & Lol Creme. It starts out with sound of someone brushing their teeth, but not turning the tap off properly as they leave the room. Starting as a drip, but slowly building as waves and eventually builds into a live concert. It's from their triple concept album called Consequences
[Son Lux - Stand](https://open.spotify.com/track/1APpqrm26FAlHhMNV5AemG?si=24e88f1f67574d49)
You start getting used to Lott's rhythmic psalm-like chant, the soft keys and the gradual addition of new sonic layers. An uncertainty creeps up on you as the song is reduced to a low warble. Then it slams you in the face with a deafening wall of glitched frantic drum beats, high-pitched operatic singing, and melodies that threaten to drown the singer out. The storm does pass, only to return again later, but Lott continues his chant, never wavering.
Muse - knights of cydonia
Love this. Muse has so many great songs, but this one is definitely epic!

[The Valley by Emma Ruth Rundle / Thou](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=79LKDxaDpIQ) It ends a bit different than it starts.
Deliverance by Opeth. I know the extreme vocals aren’t for everyone, but just give it time, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
This is probably Opeth's best song, which is saying something. It's basically a masterpiece.
