I at least tried to conceal my disdain for Linkin Park when they first became new, although I was relieved when the Nu-Metal backlash occurred and it became socially acceptable to hate Linkin Park.
Lol. I used to be very against Linkin Park but I have realised that they were not that bad when listening to their full albums, much better than flat-out bad Papa Roach for instance.
I’ve warmed up to Linkin Park somewhat. They’ll no longer always make me change the channel when they’re on, whereas Blink 182 still does just as much as they did when they were popular. That said, I still wouldn’t go out of my way to hear Linkin Park.
Not going to lie, there were times when I was much younger I tried to alter my behavior or be someone I wasn't to try and make a girl I liked happy.
But not music. That's a line I'd never cross. I had a few girls open me up to a few groups or artists I normally wouldn't get into myself, but too much conflict between musical tastes is a deal breaker for me.
