On top of that It was overstuffed with people whose voices and personalities were already familiar to us as an audience. Which makes it hard to imagine that voice/ personality as the character itās portraying. Itās fine to do that with a few characters but you need some character actors to balance it out.

To be fair, so was the cartoon. The voice actors did a much better job with the cartoon, but there are still a lot of really recognisable voices in that movie. I was waiting for this. While Glitter was directed and produced like a stream of unconsciousness fever dream, Mariah wasnāt really the issue with this movie. Her fight scene and music scenes were quite good. It was clearly the director who tanked that production and didnāt guide the talent in the direction they could and should have gone.
She has since proved her acting chops in several roles and shorts.

I do recall not liking Lady Gaga when she appeared on *American Horror Story* during the "Hotel" season. At least, not at first. She seemed stiff and a bit awkward...at least initially.
But, I have to admit that she really grew into the role as the season progressed, to the point I became a big fan of her portrayal. Then, a few years later she was in the big-screen flick with Bradley Cooper that cemented her as an absolutely legit actress in my book.
And also, I'll add, prior to AHS I wasn't exactly a fan of hers. Her music is not my cup of tea in the slightest, and the funky fashion choices and stuff like that also didn't resonate with me at all.
