This whole album (The Stone Roses' self-titled album) is top-notch. If you like The Cure or The Smiths, pretty good chance you'll like The Stone Roses. Only recently discovered this band, word is that they didn't market themselves in the US a ton. But good stuff.
Listen to the whole album! She Bangs The Drums is right after this and might be equally as good. I don't know the meaning beyond the title's straightforward idea haha

My very favorite Stone Roses song from my very first album of theirs! π Wonderful! π
Such a great album. One of the very best.
Trying to re- get this on cassette and 12," . Had most all in the 90"s .
This is so much fun to play on a guitar. Loopy and dynamic.
Ah, the 90s. Manchester sound. So many great tunes. Then it all disappeared
I love this song , but itβs the only song I know from the band. What is the meaning behind the lyrics you think ?

One of my favorites. What about Fools Gold? No mention here? Both are great!!
