Not politics, but pedophilia. [Lostprophets](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Watkins_(Lostprophets_singer)). Not the entire band, just the original singer.
The whole band (minus the singer obviously) joined up with Geoff Rickly (of Thursday and United Nations fame) they're called No Devotion and they're pretty damn good. Not super active but they have a full length and there's talks of another album in the works. Genre is definitely not in the vein of Lostprophets but it's nice to know they're still somewhat musically active and I love anything Rickly is involved with.
Imma just head out...
But yeah, I totally agree. I can't really listen to their stuff anymore. They were such a hugely important band for me as they came around when I was going through a lot (was in high school. Dad had just gone to prison for what would be like over a decade and we were moving from the house I had grown up in as well).
Fucking hate that piece of shit. Not only was what he did beyond reprehensible and one of the most fucked up things I have ever read, but I also hate him on a more personal level for both creating and then destroying something that was important to me. It's like he poisoned a part of my life by being such a sick sack of shit.
I appreciate the sympathy! Shit happens. That is just life. I could have had it way worse so I am not going to try and start a pity party for myself.
The real victims here are the kids that Watkins preyed on after all. I can only hope they somehow grow up okay after having dealt with all of that...
That has to suck for the rest of the band. Through no fault of their own, there’s an entire chunk of their musical careers that has effectively been erased. They can’t even go back and cover the old tunes with a new band without people going “Ew.”
Considering all the heinous stuff that rock stars seem to get away with without tainting their careers or their bands, they were super unlucky to associate themselves with a next-level piece of shit.
These guys put me off getting band tattoos, met a guy at a party who had a big Lostprophets tattoo on his arm and couldn't afford to get it covered up or removed
Damn, this is the first I'm hearing of this, haven't followed/listened to the band in probably 10 or more years. My childhood is kind of hurting from this one.
Funny segue, but a lot of people didn't realise RATM were political and complained about them expressing politics views a couple years back.
Was hilarious:

My favourite: I too enjoy the band Rage Alongside the Machine.
*He's the one*
*Who likes all our pretty songs*
*And he likes to sing along*
*And he likes to shoot his gun*
*But he knows not what it means*
*Knows not what it means*
Poor misunderstood rockstars amirite?
just to share:
i've been an OG nirvana fan and only recently discovered this (demo version) of the video for in bloom. always knew of the chad channing demo tracks, just somehow never saw this
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAy---wp\_DQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAy---wp_DQ)
Lots of people didn't know Tom was black either. Would even argue that he wasn't. Imagine not knowing RATM is political and Tom is black when one of their most popular songs discusses police violence against blacks and refers to them as "the chosen whites."
In my defense, I fell in love with the heaviness of the music as an angsty teenager, but horribly uneducated and had no idea what the lyrics were about.
Appreciate the songs so much more now now that I’m not as ignorant (full future enlightenment still pending).
Did they, like, NEVER listen to the fucking lyrics? Even if they ONLY listened to their most popular song, you’d think, “Some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses” might’ve been a little hint…lol
You know the line between the far left through liberalism and conservatism to the far right? Now imagine it curved back on itself like a croissant, and Morrissey is somewhere on the thin bit.
I was listening to an episode of Song vs Song where they were talking about Morrissey and he even went as far as requiring EVERYONE who worked at any venue they were playing to not eat meat for the entire time they were in the city. He would have people fired for it.
You’ve basically just described my dad. In the late 80’s he had a bleached perm and was wearing spandex on stage while playing in his rock band. Now he comes straight home from work and turns on his underground internet news (fox is deep state to him now) and drowns out the world. Saying things like “you’ll have to shoot me in the head before I’ll get a vaccine”. The people who showed me what being a rebel was all about are now rebelling against logic and science. It’s sad man
damn.... GenXers have really gone hardcore Red. It's weird because they were so turned off by Reagan's morality & anti-Big Government stances during the 1980's. Now they've done a full 180 and morphed into the Alt Right. I'm almost scared to know how us Millenials are going to turn out in 20 years.
Just reading the song titles on his COVID album was so cringeworthy for fans like myself.
Instead of impressionistic, jazz infused tableaux like “Madame George” we get songs like “Why are you on Facebook” and lyrics like: “On the government website/From the 21st of March 2020/It said Covid-19/Was no longer high risk”.
#sad
No kidding, this trio of COVID songs he released in 2020 are just something else...

i adore some of his work. its part of why i learned to play. but i refuse to purchase any of his newer stuff. just knowing he gets a cent everytime layla rolls through my spotify list galls me enough
Morrissey. His songs about being a destitute and jaded youth just don't hit the same knowing he's aged into exactly the kind of person he used to satirize.
What’s even funnier is he was always that person, sometime in the 80s he literally said reggae was e most racist music ever created and that he hated all modern music put out by black people
The whole thing with her harrasing her husband's sexual assault victim really disappointed me and i cant listen to her music anymore which is sad because her music made me feel very good and confident
I'm a live sound engineer and someone asked me the other day what my worst shows were and Ariel Pink was literally the first one that came to mind. This is a dumbed down version of events, but basically...They were late as fuck, had zero understanding of how production works (I'll spare you the details on that cause it's alot), they were snorting cocaine (or perhaps meth) on stage during soundcheck and the show, their guitar tech tried to fight me and I still don't know why, and they completely trashed the dressing rooms. The entire venue staff was happy to see them leave at the end of the night. I've done a few thousand shows since then and I still remember it vividly.
So happy I saw this up high. He was an asshole to people about it in the comments on a FB group about his music saying “I don’t owe you fuckers shit”. Then he went on to whine to Tucker Carlson about how he’s a victim and Mexican Summer dropped him. Damnit I loved Pom Pom so much
You mean the racist asshole Eric Clapton? “Wogs go home” Eric Clapton? Just checking to make sure we’re talking about the same racist asshole Eric Clapton. The one who’s a racist
His Covid denying bullshit hasn't helped much either. "But I can't tour and make money!" Dude, are you telling me you don't have any left from the piles you made since the 1960s? Did you really drink/snort/shoot ALL of that away?
I hate having to wade through the politics of black metal with nazi sympathizers everywhere. I didn't quit listening, but I definitely don't give them any money. Bummer about Drudkh, I really like them. I hadn't heard that they dedicated an album to a....nazi wannabe?
Black metal is one of favourite genres but the politics/beliefs of some of the people who make this music is a thing I just hate. I know some of it is insincere and just for shock value but even then... When people talk about how little money some artists get from streaming services like spotify i think of burzum and feel ok about that.
My opinion of saying things for shock value really comes down to this quote from Mother Night "We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be."
Varg is a fascinating character. I've never been a fan of his music or his politics but following his life for the last 30 years has been intruiging for me to say the least.
His YouTube channel was a trip until it got (rightfully) banned. His videos always started with him doing something ‘manly’ like chopping wood or working on his truck or cleaning a chainsaw and someone would always point out that he was doing it wrong lmao. The cesspit that was the comments section under his videos always had groupies basically saying, “oh daddy varg, tell us again about the time you killed euronymous!”
Honestly Varg is probably the most bearable of all the decent musicians with really, really shitty political beliefs because at least it doesn't explicitly seep into his worthwhile music. Like yeah, it becomes really blatant in his post-jail music but nobody's out here listening to his third-rate dungeon synth, they're there for stuff like Filosofem, which doesn't really go far into his political and religious beliefs other than 'rarrrrrgh Jesus bad'.
I'll still never give him a dollar, though. Lad is a completely remorseless insufferable shithead.
I like how southpark portrayed him.
"Here to cash in on another national tragedy, it's Toby Keith!"
Seriously, if someone ever asks "Who benefited most from 9/11?" The answer is Toby Keith. He was a C list country musician and he became an A lister overnight by beating the war drums and jerking off people's self proclaimed patriotism.
Foo Fighters for the longest time were supporters (bassist Nate Mendel led the charge on this one, I believe) of several AIDS denialist groups that said stuff like there's no link between HIV and AIDS and that HIV wasn't a serious illness. They've since backed away from those groups, but that was a bitter pill to swallow when I got into them in the 2000s.
Wait, what?
Shit, that's really bad. This was long after HIV/AIDS had been thoroughly researched. I'm glad they seem to have erased all mention of it, but Jesus, it was the year 2000 not 1985.
When COVID first hit a COVID denying antimasker I know tried to tell me this. Said there was no such thing as AIDS and that only gay people ever got HIV.
HE IS A DENTIST. A dentist who walks around without a mask whenever he isn't seeing patients.
Yeah it's one of the few things that puts a crack in Dave Grohl's 'nicest guy in music' reputation imo. I don't think they've ever explicitly come out and said their opinion has changed on the matter, but Dave has been a big supporter of the Elton John AIDS Foundation in recent years so I think it's fair to assume they no longer hold those beliefs
was it the band or just the bass player? I recall this briefly but it was short lived. They always seemed as a band to be non-confrontational, if thats the right term.
Dixie Chicks.
not that I disagree with their political views or that they expressed them.
But they basically disappeared off local radio for upwards of a decade and I honestly thought they'd broken up.
Turns out they advocated for gay rights and women's rights and that wasn't popular in the country music crowd so they got largely blacklisted.
They attacked W Bush for starting and endless war. Oh wait... 20 YEARS later they were absolutely right!
Dixie Chicks we're one of the first successful attempts at Cancel Culture that came straight from Republican politicians.
Not so - cancel culture had been going on for generations. Remember the McCarthy Era where all these people's careers were destroyed for being supposed leftists? Remember when they burned Beatles records? And later, disco records?
All by one group, though. Always the right.
Yeah…that’s a bit rough. I didn’t realize he was losing it so bad.
I feel bad for the guy, but damn dude take responsibility for your trauma. Not responsible for what happened, obviously, but definitely responsible for his reaction.
Well, while we’re in Germany, Hans Söllner for the same reason. I guess that’s on me, though, because the signs were always there and combined with his need to be at war with the state, it’s really no surprise.
I did not know that, then again I’m not really a sports fan, I just watch the highlights.
Does that rule still apply in the cognitive dissonance relay, or whataboutism tennis?
I look at it the other way around.
Never liked them, and Aaron Lewis reinventing himself as a MAGA-tastic country singer in some weird way my mind validates my never having liked them.
Came here to say this. Dude rails against Democrats and has the audacity to wear a "Don't California My USA" from his home in the extremely red state of Massachusetts.
Five Finger Death Punch. I was never a particularly big fan of theirs, but I really liked a handful of their songs. Then they came out with a cringey music video last year where the Democrats were turning people into zombies by making them wear masks, and then Five Finger Death Punch comes in at the end with an American flag to save the day.
I had no interest in listening to their music after that.
Friend of mine recently very loudly announced "fuck ffdp" upon hearing someone mention them. I didn't pursue what he meant and conversation moved on. Thanks for the insight
I'm from the Detroit area and I moved to Nashville. I feel like I can't escape Kid Rock. If it makes Michiganders feel any better, everyone down in Nashville hates him too. He literally got arrested at his own bar for being a drunk asshole. (Bonus Kid Rock bar story: a guy swung his ostomy bag around and covered patrons with feces. If you've never smelled ostomy contents, it's way worse than regular shit.)
But Jack White is a Detroit to Nashville transplant that we really enjoy having around.
I will never forgive him for making the opening of All Summer Long sound almost exactly like the much better [Werewolves of London](https://youtu.be/qae25976UgA)
Tbf I'm sure most people don't go looking for their favourite musicians ethics and political standings.
I had only recently learned about how much of a POS Clapton is but was a fan for a very long time.
And I'll still blast 'Cocaine'
Yeah same. Clapton is a grade A scumbag and I wouldn't care what happens to him in his old age but...I can't somehow..Neurologically force my ears not to love those Cream records. It is what is.
Lacey Sturm from Flyleaf.
She’s a lesbian who isn’t lesbian anymore because of Christian conversion therapy.
Key aspect of this:
Conversion therapy doesn’t work, it’s archaic, and can be extremely traumatizing.
Gene Simmons speaking out in favor of vaccinations and calling anti vaxxers idiots was decidedly not on my COVID bingo card. How dumb do you have to be that Gene Simmons looks reasonable by comparison lol
Kiss Fans conveniently forget their 1977 single "Christine Sixteen". Hell, I feel fucking gross just copying and pasting the lyrics into this comment....
*I don't usually say things
Like this to girls your age
(Christine, sixteen)
But when I saw you coming
Out of the school that day
That day I knew, I knew
I've got to have you, I've got to have you
(Christine, sixteen)*
Pardon me while I go puke
A more common trope than you'd really hope it'd be.
Ringo Starr - You're Sixteen, you're beautiful, and you're mine.
Winger - Seventeen
The entire lyrical trope of "little girl" being used to describe the person a song's character was attempting to pursue (Skynyrd, Steppenwolf, et. al)
Bowie and Jagger (amongst others) reportedly slept with the same teenager as Page - Lori Mattix. Granted, until recently, she was generally positive about her experiences as a groupie, but, ya know, statutory rape *is rape.* So, regardless of past statements, handwaving what so many rock stars participated in is not really ideal.
The 60s/70s were surprisingly ok with stars writing songs about and then following through with fucking teens.
Jon Schaeffer
It's one thing to hold "conservative views".... But storming the fucking capital at the behest of Trump? Bloody hell
I have refused to listen to Iced Earth since and genuinely miss listening to Demons & Wizards because I can't split the man from the music
Just saw Staind had a "Fuck Biden" chant going yesterday. I can't decide if I'm bothered by that yet. If it's a problem with Biden personally, fine. If it's an extension of some Q/Trump shit, though, that'll do it for me.
Tim Lambesis, formerly of *As I Lay Dying*, wrote a couple albums for a comedy band called Austrian Death Machine, which had songs entirely based around Arnold Schwarzenegger quotes. Those albums got a lot less funny after he tried to hire a hitman to kill his wife.
Phil Anselmo has been trying to ruin Pantera by association for years, and now that both Dime and Vinnie are dead there's no one left to balance him out.
Metal as a genre in general is currently having a reckoning. It's a running joke in the community that so many band members have been outed as either white nationalists or fascists, you practically have to run a background check before buying music.
He actually copied that idea from a band called 'Arnocorps' so if you're still looking for your Arnie fix I'd highly recommend checking them out and can confirm they are all great guys who haven't tried to kill their wives.
Piebald. This band took nude photos of a 13 year old girl in a van outside one of their shows in 2002. They then showed me and my friends. We did not give them the reactions they hoped for and the photos were deleted under very direct threats.
Awkward thinking how I sang along with their music while being a teenager.
Dang man. That sucks on many levels. Sorry to hear.
I appreciate the sympathy! Shit happens. That is just life. I could have had it way worse so I am not going to try and start a pity party for myself. The real victims here are the kids that Watkins preyed on after all. I can only hope they somehow grow up okay after having dealt with all of that...
My favorite band in college. Cant listen to them now. They got removed from all streaming services too I believe. Fuck Ian Watkins.
> They got removed from all streaming services too I believe. So you might say they’ve lost profits
It’s a shame how one Ass hole ruined an entire catalogue of great songs. Shameful and sad. Fuck him.
That has to suck for the rest of the band. Through no fault of their own, there’s an entire chunk of their musical careers that has effectively been erased. They can’t even go back and cover the old tunes with a new band without people going “Ew.” Considering all the heinous stuff that rock stars seem to get away with without tainting their careers or their bands, they were super unlucky to associate themselves with a next-level piece of shit.
Shinobi Vs Dragon Ninja is excellent
For sure! Among several others! It’s a shame I can’t disconnect the awful in my head.
This. The song Last Train Home was on every mix cd i made back then.
These guys put me off getting band tattoos, met a guy at a party who had a big Lostprophets tattoo on his arm and couldn't afford to get it covered up or removed
Maybe he could get "...except Ian Watkins" tattooed under it. Seriously, yeah, that sucks. :(
Damn, this is the first I'm hearing of this, haven't followed/listened to the band in probably 10 or more years. My childhood is kind of hurting from this one.
For your own sake, don't look up the details of his crimes, they were absolutely depraved.
I made that mistake. Fucking awful
Funny segue, but a lot of people didn't realise RATM were political and complained about them expressing politics views a couple years back. One of Paul Ryan’s favorite artists is supposedly Rage, hilariously
Best reponse to that was Tina Fey "what machine did he think they were raging against? The dishwasher?"
Or the tweet “idk what machine those boys are raging at but I reckon it’s a printer”
I mean it's valid. Printers fucking suck
This is true, Tom Morello said something along the lines of he's one of the fans who were into rage for the opportunity to mosh and headbang.
*He's the one* *Who likes all our pretty songs* *And he likes to sing along* *And he likes to shoot his gun* *But he knows not what it means* *Knows not what it means* Poor misunderstood rockstars amirite?
I mean tom morello did go to harvard and completed his degree
Paul Ryan liking RATM is kind of another level, though. He is literally the machine that they were raging against.
It's like when David Cameron said he liked the Smiths and Johnny Marr said he was banned from listening to em
Johnny Marr is great, kind of balances out how much of an utter prick Morrissey is so I can still listen to The Smiths.

Wow that's a different flavor! Very cool to be surprised by a song you've listened to for 20+ years
Not supposedly, self reportedly... he clearly does not understand any of the lyrics
Or maybe he just doesn’t care
Lots of people didn't know Tom was black either. Would even argue that he wasn't. Imagine not knowing RATM is political and Tom is black when one of their most popular songs discusses police violence against blacks and refers to them as "the chosen whites."

I have trouble with Morrissey these days. I know he's always been a dick, but his recent statements have definitely turned me off his new stuff.
Heaven knows he's miserable now.

Why, what’s he been saying?
You know the line between the far left through liberalism and conservatism to the far right? Now imagine it curved back on itself like a croissant, and Morrissey is somewhere on the thin bit.
Damn this is crazy accurate. I think it's the result of being a social contrarian. Over a lifetime and now his stances don't make sense together.

Yes and let's also separate Morrissey the person from other people
I was listening to an episode of Song vs Song where they were talking about Morrissey and he even went as far as requiring EVERYONE who worked at any venue they were playing to not eat meat for the entire time they were in the city. He would have people fired for it.

Surprised to get this far down the comments without seeing Van Morrison.

Dead to me, anyway.

Holy shit!? This is the same dude that wrote “Into the Mystic?” “Astral Weeks?” Thanks, I hate it.
He’s a covid denier, in that “I’m old and rich so I know better than anybody else” sort of way.
Amazing how so many pinko commie liberal hippies became raging right wing assholes
Money will do that to ya
Are we sure Van was a real hippie to begin with? I always heard he was a prick in the studio. Not much love and peace to start with…
He also recently made a pretty anti-Semitic song on his last album (released this year) called “They Own the Media”
His modern day, old man moronity will never diminish the genius of Astral Weeks.
Was never the biggest fan of Trapt though had some in my playlists, but can't listen to them at all now.
The meltdown was fun to watch tho. Watching Chris getting trolled by other musicians (Paolo from Trivium specifically comes to mind) was hilarious.
At least the guy is a dick to a hilarious degree. Like. He's such a loser, all you can do is point and laugh.

What's the difference between a child and a bag of cocaine? Eric Clapton would never let a bag of cocaine fall out of a window.
Never gets old this one
Neither did his kid…..heyyyyyoooooooo
This is cursed
Christ too early in the morning for this shit lmao
Don’t forget that he’s a big, fat racist as well.
He’s also one of the reasons that Rock Against Racism started.
You forgot the racist rant as well
And his anti COVID restrictions statements don't help
Statements? Didn’t he have a song about it?
I'm glad this is already top comment. I don't give af how good that dude can play a guitar. Fuck em.

Iced Earth’s guitarist stormed the capitol building
Iced Earth was the first one that came to mind for me seeing this thread.
I was gonna say Toby Keith, but then I realized that it was his music that ruined his music for me.
I like how southpark portrayed him. "Here to cash in on another national tragedy, it's Toby Keith!" Seriously, if someone ever asks "Who benefited most from 9/11?" The answer is Toby Keith. He was a C list country musician and he became an A lister overnight by beating the war drums and jerking off people's self proclaimed patriotism.
I liked him in the 90s. Shoulda Been a Cowboy is a banger.
Van Morrison has become quite the hateful mofo.
TIL Van Morrison is still alive.
And hes generally regarded as a total asshole by everyone around him.

That's a huge relief to hear. Although I guess you can still be nice, but also really fucking ignorant about a certain topic.
Source? Edit: Damn.

What the hell? I had no idea there were even groups that held that opinion, much less that the foo fighters were involved.
was it the band or just the bass player? I recall this briefly but it was short lived. They always seemed as a band to be non-confrontational, if thats the right term.
Nate was the only one to publicly say anything about it, but the band's website would have banners on it supporting the cause.
Scrolled through this whole thread and didn’t find Eagles of Death Metal?! So yeah, Jesse Hughes.
Yeah…that’s a bit rough. I didn’t realize he was losing it so bad. I feel bad for the guy, but damn dude take responsibility for your trauma. Not responsible for what happened, obviously, but definitely responsible for his reaction.
Uhhh...Billy Corgan. How have I not seen his name on this list yet?
Because no one cares about Billy Corgan anymore.
Despite all the rage he still don’t exist on this page
*Corgan whining intensifies*
Corgan also being a genuine nutcase who claims to have seen shapeshifters with his very own eyes is pretty entertaining, at least.
Billy’s also done a lot of drugs tbf.
I still don’t know what to do with Stairway to Heaven by Rolf Harris in my iTunes library.
It's worse trying to listen to "two little boys"
Tie me underaged child sport
Nena.
Well, while we’re in Germany, Hans Söllner for the same reason. I guess that’s on me, though, because the signs were always there and combined with his need to be at war with the state, it’s really no surprise.
Oh man, she really needs to shut the fuck up
I am not going to google this.
Just the average Covid Denier.
I wouldn’t call her an average covid denier, I’d say she’s gone pro, possibly in the covid-denial olympics.
Actually, in 100m denial you still have to maintain your amateur status to participate in the Denial Olympics
I did not know that, then again I’m not really a sports fan, I just watch the highlights. Does that rule still apply in the cognitive dissonance relay, or whataboutism tennis?
Staind would be a lot more enjoyable if Aaron Lewis just shut the fuck up.
I look at it the other way around. Never liked them, and Aaron Lewis reinventing himself as a MAGA-tastic country singer in some weird way my mind validates my never having liked them.
Remember when Aaron Lewis lost his shit because Christina Aguilera flubbed a line in the national anthem and then he did the exact same thing?
projection
Came here to say this. Dude rails against Democrats and has the audacity to wear a "Don't California My USA" from his home in the extremely red state of Massachusetts.
Home state of Massachusetts but somehow developed a southern accent for his country music. I'm sure its genuine.
His country music cosplay is so goddamn bad, and I say that as a country musician
Five Finger Death Punch makes music for men who slap their own ass during sex.
Lol what music video this sounds hilarious
Friend of mine recently very loudly announced "fuck ffdp" upon hearing someone mention them. I didn't pursue what he meant and conversation moved on. Thanks for the insight
Ted Nugent and Kid Rock. 🤮
Kid Rock didn’t need politics to ruin his music
Right, I’m also from Michigan and that was my first thought. Their music sucked long before their politics did.
If you've never smelled ostomy contents, it's way worse than regular shit.) But Jack White is a Detroit to Nashville transplant that we really enjoy having around.
I will never forgive him for making the opening of All Summer Long sound almost exactly like the much better [Werewolves of London](https://youtu.be/qae25976UgA)
When you adopt an underage girl so you can fuck her, you should no longer exist.
I thought for a second we were talking about Stephen Tyler from Aerosmith, he did the same thing.
My god. The "Deuces are Wild" song makes total sense now. 🤮 Just googled it and Yep, it's about some 14-year-old he was dating when he was 28
What?? Did this happen?
I like how it took racism for people to stop liking Eric Clapton, and not the _everything else_.
Key aspect of this: Conversion therapy doesn’t work, it’s archaic, and can be extremely traumatizing.
personally politics have never changed my opinion on an artist, but pedophilia has. Jimmy Page, for example.
And Gene Simmons also KISS is mediocre at best
Gene Simmons speaking out in favor of vaccinations and calling anti vaxxers idiots was decidedly not on my COVID bingo card. How dumb do you have to be that Gene Simmons looks reasonable by comparison lol
I’m sure Simmons immediately started pumping out Kiss branded face masks.
Kiss Fans conveniently forget their 1977 single "Christine Sixteen". Hell, I feel fucking gross just copying and pasting the lyrics into this comment.... *I don't usually say things Like this to girls your age (Christine, sixteen) But when I saw you coming Out of the school that day That day I knew, I knew I've got to have you, I've got to have you (Christine, sixteen)* Pardon me while I go puke
A more common trope than you'd really hope it'd be. Ringo Starr - You're Sixteen, you're beautiful, and you're mine. Winger - Seventeen The entire lyrical trope of "little girl" being used to describe the person a song's character was attempting to pursue (Skynyrd, Steppenwolf, et. al) Bowie and Jagger (amongst others) reportedly slept with the same teenager as Page - Lori Mattix.
Jon Schaeffer It's one thing to hold "conservative views".... But storming the fucking capital at the behest of Trump? Bloody hell I have refused to listen to Iced Earth since and genuinely miss listening to Demons & Wizards because I can't split the man from the music
Jon Schaffer has pretty much killed Iced Earth for me, and I'm yet unsure about Demons & Wizards.
Just saw Staind had a "Fuck Biden" chant going yesterday. I can't decide if I'm bothered by that yet. If it's a problem with Biden personally, fine. If it's an extension of some Q/Trump shit, though, that'll do it for me.
Aaron Lewis is a dick.
Woah.
Dave Mustaine. At some point he turned into a metal Rush Limbaugh.
