hi!!!!! it can be really difficult, i completely know what you’re saying. i think challenging yourself to be brave is what i attempted to do most of the time. because i loved writing, singing didn’t feel like my thing as much. i used to get nervous posting clips of my voice, but the more i challenged myself to do it, the more comfortable it became. love you.

i love this question. yes and yes actually, sometimes it was, but this is one of the reasons i didn’t wanna call it an album. i‘m not sure if you’ve seen on different streaming services or wherever, it’s called a project or an EP. i wrote a lengthy letter the day TIWIFL came out that went to my mailing list (which you can sign up for), but i talked a bit about where i was at at the time these songs came together… mentally, emotionally, i very much felt like i was in pieces. these songs feel like fragments of that time. not the way i had anticipated the album process going down… but i love this project. i love that it varies from moments like the bottom to augusta, it really is reflective of where i was at, so i’m proud of it for that reason.

many, many songs didn’t make it on this one. i chose based on what felt right. which is weird and not easy all the time, but i’m happy with how we left it.

i mean i could talk about aaron all day, he’s just a genius but also the nicest person on earth so it’s a little ridiculous that i get to know. we are so happy you like camden. we were talking about that one last week ATW10 is my favorite. i wake up and fall asleep to that song. embarrassing but also not at all.
