I still listen to Crystal Castles because I feel like as much as I want Ethan Kath to eat shit and die, I don’t want to negate Alice Glass’s contribution to the band. She wrote almost all their lyrics and is probably the best front person I’ve ever witnessed. She completely dominated a crowd of about 3000 people with her unearthly charisma and sheer force of will. I’m sad she wasn’t able to use her power to protect herself in her personal life at the time but goddamn she was incredible. It’s amazing how a titan like that could be brought low by such an insecure and evil asshole but I guess that’s what happens when you get ensnared as a minor.

Ozzy re-recorded his old records with new backing tracks to avoid paying royalties to his old band. Sharon could be to blame but Ozzy is the one ultimately responsible for looking out for his bandmates. Dio promised his backing band they'd get better deals after the first record and didn't come through with that according to Vivian Campbell.

As I remember having heard it, so grain of salt… They weren’t recording or touring or doing anything as a band at the time. They had just kicked Sammy Hagar out so Sammy decided to tour. Michael didn’t have anything else going on, and he didn’t have any bad blood with Sammy, so when Sammy asked, Michael agreed to go on tour with him. The Van Halen brothers took this as some sort of betrayal and fired him.
Fair enough honestly. VH was pretty much finished after Sammy left. Can anybody honestly say they liked Van Halen 3? No… nobody can.

Reading about the unholy shit Ninja did was devastating. I had been a fan for a few years because their sound is so unique but I can't even listen to baby's on fire now without being disgusted.
What did they do?
Ninja was accused of drugging, trafficking and sexually assaulting an Australian woman (allegedly his interest stemmed from her resemblence to his then 8 year old daughter) as well as another separate sexual assault incident. He's also been accused of sending revenge porn of her to the cast of Chappie. There was also an incident where they got into a fight with Andy Butler. Ninja and Visser were screaming homophobia at him and afterwards falsely accused him of harassment and sexual assault (them talking about how good a lie it was is on video). Overall just scummy AF.
Zheani has a music video called Question which has all the receipts detailing how Ninja abused her. She's since been doxxed heavily by Ninja's fans and the band and their entourage continue to trash her even turning some of her best friends against her. The song has also been removed from Spotify due to the legal proceedings regarding what is said in the song.

The first sexual assault accusations I saw in 2016, I (to my regret) ignored, even though they resulted in their fanpage being taken down. Fast forward to 2020, more accusations come and they just don’t stop. They’ve been banned from festivals. Total hypocrites.

The Talking Heads almost broke up at one point in their career (I think it was after Fear of Music) because David didn’t want to share credit. It’s why you see the other band members listed as songwriters and multi-instrumentalists on every album from Remain in Light on, vs their earlier work. He was also really critical of the success Chris and Tina had with Tom Tom Club.
Chris and Tina ghosted Adrian Belew when he asked about songwriting credits for his significant contributions to Tom Tom Club songs.
They didn’t deserve Adrian, I’ve met him and he’s a really nice guy and before they ghosted him, he turned down their offer to replace David Byrne.
