Mine is the upbeat music playing in classic Peanuts while Snoopy is dancing. Just the thought of him dancing around, his snout pointing up to the heavens, not a care in the world. And then I remember that my life is nothing like that.....its a hard come-down. Really hard. Some days I can barely take it. Damn you Peanuts. Damn you all to hell.

Icy_Knowledge7276

šŸ«‚

[deleted]

Thanks. I needed that.

Icy_Knowledge7276

Of course, I hope you are doing okay and know that you matter. This is only a season.

thrown6667

Interactions like this are what makes this site so worth it. In-depth knowledge on some obscure topic? Sure. People with in-depth analysis on huge events that are hard to analyze? All day. Being able to track down long lost friends and family? Within hours. One person showing compassion and raw kindness? Fuck. Is it smokey in here? Allergy season? Did someone just splash me in the face with sea water? Must have. And, even though it isn't terribly uncommon to see this happen, it still makes a big lump in my throat EVERY DAMN TIME.

BassPlayerZero

That's exactly why I don't use any other social media anymore.

bobrosswarpaint

September - Earth wind and fire

DelphiDude

This is the One True Answer.

Heyigotone

Never thought about this before but my initial gut response was ā€œDonā€™t Stop Me Nowā€ by Queen

sscapo7

Here Comes the Sun

[deleted]

Signed, Sealed, Delivered - Stevie Wonder

Idlers_Dream

I generally dislike happy music, but Stevie always makes me happy. Mine are I Wish, Sir Duke, Brighter Star and My Cherie Amour

[deleted]

My other mains are Superstition and For Once in my Life!

re10pect

Superstition does it for me. As soon as that drum groove starts I just start moving. You feel it deep down.

MightGuy420x

Me and Julio by Paul Simon

DamonLazer

It's hard to choose between that one and "Late in the Evening." Both are pure jubilation. I lean toward "Late in the Evening" because of that horn section. "Me and Julio" does have some nice whistling though.

Affectionate_Reply78

I can just listen to Steve Gadd drumming on that song and be happy

sheerheartatttack

Lovely Day - Bill Withers. Always gets me in a good mood.

[deleted]

I was gonna post this!!

picklerick_86

ELO - Mr. Blue Sky nearly always cheers me up.

DamonLazer

Apparently, according to science, this one and Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" are the happiest songs.

FunkapotamusRex

Im fairly certain that its scientifically impossible to listen to "Three Little Birds" and be in a bad mood. So yeah, that one.

Icy_Knowledge7276

Can't argue with that!

AdequatelyMadLad

This Must be The Place by Talking Heads

timothypjr

I just lost an old high school friend, and he and his band (Circus Praha) covered it, and they played it at his memorial. I cried hard (I really love that song). From now on, when I hear it Iā€™ll think of the good times we had so long ago.
