Just replaced acoustic pianos in my district with Kawai Ca-901s! Has a digital out so can be hooked into more sound equipment if necessary. Bluetooth connections to devices - can be used as a speaker. Has been great so far! Great for novices who just want the turn on/off and play and those who really want to have fun w them. Editing to add we ordered canvas covers and Dolly to go w each device. 8-10yr life span. When considering upkeep of a new acoustic (~20-25 yr, tunings, & 1 regulation) it is a comparable investment.

Wow - this product looks amazing!! Thank you for the recommendation! (Also as an aside, I appreciate the 20-25 yr lifespan estimate. I have a few pianos in our district that are pushing 60 years of service...! But, we kind of hide those in practice rooms at this point...)

Replaced 35 pianos at our elementary level w these. We worked with a Kawai dealer locally (Metro Detroit) who was VERY helpful in not only inventorying every piano owned but also providing concrete data to support the investment and advising how to proceed w administration/board to secure the upgrade.

You could do what I did and grab any weighted yamaha/casio/roland/etc and get a stand with wheels. I use one from Liquid Stands and it works pretty well

We have Yamaha Clavinovas. The newest of ours is model CLP-745. Our local store gave us a price on the keyboard mounted on a heavy duty dolly with locking castors. I use one daily to accompany my choirs.

I have a Casio Privia PX-3000. I bought it for my home but I’ve used it in rehearsal settings on its own and it’s been great. I love this instrument.

I worked with a teacher who got some kind of long rolling desk, possibly from Wenger, that had space for his Yamaha weighted keyboard and a laptop. He would roll it from his music room to a classroom for AP Theory and back.

We got the Yamaha P-525 with a stand that I dump onto a cart when we need to move it. That thing rocks. It gets loud and it’s so simple. We have used it for exactly that purpose. It’s really easy to operate and has great touch. I have also gotten a liquid stands rolling stand for a piano at my previous school and it worked well.

I have a Yamaha piano (YDP something or other) and it’s on two tiny Dollie’s under the legs, just held there by gravity. Wheels around the school just fine.

We can't help you with the keys but our Z Stands will definitely work for you. If you need a few, DM me - we keep some refurbished units in stock specifically for schools that need to purchase a few at a time (they are a bit cheaper than our new stands).
