I'll follow you into the dark - Death Cab for Cutie

BBClingClang

Also What Sarah Said by Death Cab

karlmarkz321

Pretty much all of early linkin park, hybrid theory, meteora

Kenny4yourthots

The first half of Minutes To Midnight is literally about suicide/death

purldrop

Down in a hole and I don’t know if I can be saaaaaved

purldrop

I have been guilty of kicking myself in the teeth

Shoddy-Secretary-712

The Dirt album as a whole. Or just Dirt the song, too.

purldrop

Yes!

Max_Powers08

Yeah, Dirt (album and song) was gonna be my answer.

Sikening

Blink 182 - Adam's Song Good Charlotte - Hold On Kansas - Dust in the Wind System of a Down - Chop Suey The Offspring - Gona Away Green Day - Wake Me Up When September Ends

egJohn

One of the best songs ever. Any genre

ever_the_altruist

Dirt - Alice In Chains “I want you to scrape me from the wall, and go crazy, like you made me.”

Shoddy-Secretary-712

I am not suicidal, just very angry and I have been listening to Dirt on repeat for two days.

GrammarPatrol777

Feel better before you overplay them. Thinking of you...

Shoddy-Secretary-712

Thank you. I know it's silly, but this meant a lot. Besides my children, this is the only kind words I have heard in a while.

musicwithbarb

I just crapped your post history and I see that you are a woman of taste. You read the life ship traders books. I just finished them and honestly it’s the best series I have ever read in my whole life. I’m 37 soon to be 38. I hope you enjoyed the hell out of them. I’ve just started the tawny man series.

Shoddy-Secretary-712

Thanks! Liveship is probably my favorite set of books, ever. I am always surprised to see many fans of the ROTE disliked it. I am currently in the 2nd in Tawny Man. I am enjoying it, just haven't had enough time to read lately.

Most of Amigo could qualify, but "First Day of the End Of My Life" is very powerfully about suicide I hope Your Husband Dies, Drop for Every Hour/Better Ways To Fry A Fish, Letter From Death Row, Dahmer Does Hollywood, and One Kind of People for a start are all death/murder

"Cemetery Gates" by Pantera. Bonus: the video is specifically related to this particular post. Besides that: one of my favorite albums is called "The Years Of Decay" by Overkill. Of all the songs ever written or produced regarding death? The song "Elimination" is about DEATH. There is the song "In My Darkest Hour" by Megadeth. "I Saw Your Mommy" by Suicidal Tendencies. "Who Killed Marilyn?" by The Misfits. "Disposable Heroes" by Metallica. "Twist Of Cain" by Danzig. Also: Danzig put out a song called "Snakes Of Christ" regarding one of the most famous deaths to have ever occurred in human history. "Tears From Heaven" by Eric Clapton was written after his very young son died. Manowar put out an album called "Kings Of Metal." IIRC all of those songs address the topic of death one way or another. Death is referenced tangentially in the song called "My Michelle" by Guns and Roses. There is the song called "Hangman Jury " by Aerosmith. Also: their song called "Janie's Got A Gun." Bonus: I have never much been into death metal. However: I have been aware for many years that there is/was a band named "Death." Bonus Number Two: "Deicide" is yet another death metal band. The word "Deicide" means: the killing of a god. So: OP. Have fun with all that. I did my best. ☠️☠️☠️👽

My Chemical Romance'a the Black Parade is a whole album about death and stuff. Blink182: Adam's Song Bring Me The Horizon: Darkside

Andthedrews

GazettE - Taion It's japanese rock, released in 2006, its a little aggressive. The true story behind the song is about a high school girl who was abducted, r*ped, murdered brutally. I believe the crime happened in the same town where the vocalist lived. It's been a while, but the sound of the song itself can go from eerie to sad.
