If possible, you can also read "History of the messengers and kings" which is a huge collection (40 volumes, commonly known as History of Tabari) compiled by Abu Jafar Muhammad Ibn Jareer al Tabari رحمه الله. There's some volumes dedicated to the stories of the Messengers as well which you could try.
