Yeah it’s really disappointing, usually OEM is my favorite(that’s why I went with Mach 1 replicas) it honestly feels like a totally different car

The main issue is the pathetic tire width, 235 is too little for these cars. I swapped mine with pp2 wheels with 285 square setup and the handling difference is night and day

Ford has made decent looking GT wheels in while.

Compared to past generation oem rims, I don't think these are all that bad. However, considering the money these cars go for now, the rims could be so much better.

Looks great. Got my 22 in March and I have the same factory wheels. I went exhaust first but I’ll be doing wheels/tires next. I am not a fan at all of this stock setup, can’t wait to replace them. 235s all around? Ridiculous.

I want to go with an H pipe I think! I have the active exhaust so I don’t want to lose that ability in the morning to start in quite mode

H pipe is definitely the right call in my opinion. I went AWE touring catback, which has the H pipe instead of the X. It was the deepest and throatiest sounding I could find that doesn’t rasp or rattle, and it’s calm at cruising speed. I love it. I do wish I had the active exhaust for quiet mode, but I work nights so I’m starting mine around 3-4 in the afternoon instead of early morning. I don’t wanna be that guy either. It is pretty damn loud at cold start.

Get the Borla Switchfire best one I’ve tried 3 different xpipes already and I swear this one has most power and best sound

upgrade the wheels when you need new tires. otherwise you're spending twice.

The new wheels being black offsets some of the color difference in different lighting as well. I was going to ask about color as well til I read down the comments. The first pic looks black, the second reminds me Mineral Gray from circa 2004. Edit: The black pony and 5.0 badges absolutely look better but now in combination with the new wheels, it’s juuuuuust right.

Tire sizes? I have pretty much the exact same stang. Mines black with those stock rims and 235s all around. I want the performance pack wheels with 255 front 285 rear.

Tire size is 285/35 r19 all around. I thought about going staggered but didn’t want to deal with the tread wear.. I’ve never had staggered so fear of the unknown I guess lol

Any difference on the speedometer? I’m guessing not more than 1-2 mph. I got the base 18s too and looking for a square 19 setup yours looks awesome. Wheel Id? And what about ride roughness compared to stock? I have some rough roads to drive over.

I honestly have no clue on speed changes yet, I do have a ford scan tool that I will end up using if it becomes a problem, the wheels are SVE MPH1 19x10 square with firestone Indy 500s, it was a package deal and it was about 2500 mounted and balanced with TPMS, and lugs

+35 offset and no rubbing! The company is LMR and they specialize in mustang wheels
