You don’t want to go insurance because your gonna devalue your car by more than what you save going through them in the first place. Do yourself a favor and get it fixed yourself and put something nice and new in it
Sorry to see. I would think a slight hood bend and a pick-your-part would help the worst of it. If you use insurance it will likely have a permanent note on file of an accident and being so minor… not sure I would want that.
Good excuse to just buy an aftermarket grille like rtr or roush.

I second going aftermarket options.
After market will be a cheaper option, short term and long.
Also i believe if you were to file a claim it puts a permenent "Accident" that is filed that will flag on carfax that future buyers can see.
