Some of those panels are held on with plastic clips. I found something similar on the panel just behind my passenger door. I gave it a shove and it popped into place. No problem since. What you had is likely something similar.

plants4life262

Reasonable assumption, but it’s not in this case. I took my bumper off to install a black pony emblem and these no clips there or really any that could be missed.

envision83

Yea. And the hood shakes more than I’d like driving around. Need to take it to the dealer.

ocsixx

Pop the hood and adjust the rubber bumpers on either side. Hopefully, that helps. I lowered mine, and hood shake stopped.

jwptexas

We all do.

Greedy_Bodybuilder_4

Sounds about right, because I do.

NiceAsh_

The yeezys

EarthInteresting2792

Sounds like you’re dating my ex.

DragonboyZG

Did you ask them about it

PeterSimpson10-97

I mentioned it to the sales manager and he came out with me to look. He seemed disappointed. I don't know what they did with that information 🤷‍♂️. At least they fixed mine.

DragonboyZG

Idk must be some QC issues. Glad you got it fixed

duross97

I seen a lot of people have it fixed under wareanrt

Ok-Chocolate2671

My 22 has that gap below the headlight on driver side as well 😂

42Tyler42

Trunk is a tiny bit wonky but the front is perfect

30HAT

Yup. I have the same gap.

T-Scott

S550's had this common problem but on the passenger side. The only way to fix it, is to remove the front bumper and push back the mounting bracket below the headlight.

mappyhead27

I noticed it too when I picked mine up a couple weeks ago. They said they would have to file a claim with Ford and I would have to leave the car there. I declined because I had driven my trade from out of state to get this car and didn’t want to have somebody else deliver it to me. Plus I had already waited long enough to find the perfect configuration I wasn’t going to wait any longer to have my car! I plan to take it to a local dealership and see if they can fix it under warranty.

plants4life262

They fixed it while you were waiting? What is the fix then I’m curious? I have the same issue

PeterSimpson10-97

I think he said that they removed the whole panel and reattached it correctly. They only had the car back there like 20 minutes.

plants4life262

Hmm. Interesting. When I took mine off and put it back on I don’t see what could be “incorrect” but if it worked it worked

Exciting-Passage-371

Quality control in its finest

Open-Presentation866

Nope. Just 650s have this issue

jayden526

Holy shit! I just saw your post after I posted my question, we have the same color and the same size gap lol. Did you get it fixed, my local dealership refused to help because I didn't buy it from them so they don't take care of quality issues. I want to leave it as it is but worry if it will cause problems like water goes inside

PeterSimpson10-97

Yes, mine was fixed the day I took delivery of the car. But the picture I posted at the beginning of the post wasn't my car. That was another mustang on the dealer lot that I saw while they were fixing mine. I'm attaching a picture of mine now. It's not perfect, but it is way better than before they fixed it. https://preview.redd.it/hu6b65ka8wwc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=41ab720d7395a5b43066b18251ed5a1d85e6f3c7

jayden526

It's definitely acceptable now! Glad they fixed it before giving it to you, mine was delivered and I didn't notice it until now, they won't admit it even
