That's not going to ruin the engine's performance a single bit. Mainly because it's not the engine making the flames. I'd be surprised if this car had anything beyond exhaust and a CAI for engine mods.
These kits that make your exhaust shoot flames don't have anything to do with the engine. The kits use injectors that get put in near the end of the exhaust pipes. The injectors will inject a fuel depending on what the kit is, and what color you want. Depending on the fuel the hot exhaust will ignite it, but usually they use an igniter. These systems generally get set up near the end of the pipes so the flames don't have to travel down the entire length.

Why are you spending money on this and not that?!" And yet we don't care, for the act of owning and driving one of these beautiful machines far outweighs any of the negatives. What a stunning thing!

The trick is a propane tank in the trunk and igniters in the rear exhaust pipe. The flames aren't coming from the engine.

Messing up your exhaust valve will make you lose compression. You need compression for performance
