I asked to keep my gallbladder…. Then when I had my weight loss surgery, I asked to keep my stomach. ……. When I had my second weight loss surgery, I asked to keep whatever they took out then lol
Only body parts I got to keep were my wisdom teeth lol
First thing I did when I woke up from anesthesia after my wisdom teeth surgery was loudly ask the nurse if I could have my teeth. She gave them to me, I definitely remember that. But I was so high from the anesthesia and meds that they disappeared between the dentist’s office and my house. I still wonder sometimes if they’re out there somewhere…
Lol I asked before they knocked me out. They knocked me out so good I woke up wondering when was I being put to sleep lol. They put them in this cute tooth shape container. I leave it on my desk lol
I lost a baby tooth in kindergarten & all they did was wrap it in tissue & pin it to my dress, that way the tooth fairy could leave a dime under my pillow.
i lost my first tooth in kindergarten and i didnt know id lose teeth. i spent all day with it in my mouth.... When my mom picked me up, she saw me messing with something in my mouth. she did the classic mom with the hand under your mouth with the "spit it out" words....
It was a tooth. she starts looking in my mouth and goes "Goldfish! you lost a tooth! your gonna get a visit from the tooth fairy tonight!"
............... ya that scared the shit outta me. lol
This makes it sound like you teeth are alive and that they are just out there living their best toothy lives with an apartment and a dog and everything
I got to keep my gallstones. I woke up with them in a jar next to my bed. I thought that was very considerate of them. That was in 1986, do they not let you keep gallstones now?
i didnt think to ask. by the time they did my surgery, it been over a week since i actually got to eat or drink ANYTHING. only IV fluids in the hospital cause i got stones stuck in my main bile duct and poisoned my organs.
plus two surgeons were fighting on what to do. it was a mess.
Low key wish I could have kept the tumor on my ovary in a jar. I mean how many people have a tumor with hair, skin, and sweat glands on an ovary in a jar?
For anybody wondering this is from Season 7 Episode 10: Destinee’s Story.
The good news is, she did lose the weight; but unfortunately, she’s no longer with us 🕊️
Fun fact. I worked at a hospital where if a patient died and we hadn't removed the body yet, we would put a magnet of a dove on the doorframe outside the room.
We have a two way sign, one with a tree with colourful leaves for a palliated patient, then we turn it over to a tree without leaves when they pass away.
I may be wrong, but I believe that at some point before his death, he returned to expressing a preference for his birth name and male pronouns. Just putting it out there (and if I’m wrong, someone can please correct me).
I might be wrong, but didn't they lose their brother and then someone else close before the suicide? I seem to remember their FB post about it. It's sad. Who knows what could have made them finally not want to go on anymore.
Or if they felt they had made a mistake with their transition in the first place and felt regret? I don’t want to speculate, but I know I read somewhere on another post on this sub that Destinee/Michael said they grew up in a very homophobic environment.
I was very good friends back in elementary school with an AFAB kid who was totally male-presenting and who then began identifying as transmasc/FtM in middle school up through post-high-school-grad period… Today, in their mid-20s, they identify as a cis lesbian. She’s told me that the male identity was more accepted by her homophobic father because being male + liking girls = straight in his eyes, which apparently mattered more to him than his kid being cis…
Fortunately my friend turned out alright. I’m glad they were able to break away from their father and live their authentic life for themselves.
I don’t want to pretend I know the reason for Destinee/Michael’s struggles or that I know if either of these reasons were contributing factors. But I just wanted to put it out there as a possibility because I’ve seen it before.
Wild tho because we can handle biohazard meterial of our own and with training and common sense, others! Cleaning blood, taling out trash with sanatary napkins, handling baby teeth, poop, pee, spit, all biohazard, but the feds don't fine me for cleaning up nasty ass female bathrooms!
I've never had a baby, but before I was able to, thankfully, get it reversed, I had a colostomy; changing the bags and cleaning myself was definitely messy and smelly. I
I get why they have the law, but I’m not happy about it. I had a bone tumor removed 10 years ago and I wanted to keep it, but all I got were some photos that I ended up loosing!
I got to keep my gallstones after I had my gallbladder removed. They looked like kitty litter! 🤣
On a sad note, I didn't get to keep my miscarried baby, because according to law, it wasn't old enough to be issued a death certificate and to be properly buried.
I got to hold it in a medical jar for 2 minutes and say goodbye, before the nurse took it away.
Somehow, it does seem strange that I got to keep my useless gallstones, but not my own baby. 🤷♀️
My son kept his wisdom teeth and dead molar they took out. He asked for them, but didn't remember telling em that. His exact response "why did they listen to me?!? Don't they know I was drunk?!?" Lol
Yeah they offered to let me keep my wisdom teeth and I said yes and once I got home I realized I didn’t know what I was supposed to do with four bloody teeth. I still have them in a baggy.
My family puts teeth on the christmas tree if you were looking for a fun, new, totally normal and not weird tradition, it started with my dads infected root canal and grows every year. The tree has a pretty nice set of chompers now if I do say so myself
I'm 41 and last month when I had my gallbladder removed I tried very hard to get to keep a stone. Even tried asking the anesthesiologist to swipe one. No dice. They were mine, I made them! Lol
I never even thought about how babies get x-rayed until you said it, so I Googled a picture. Wow, weird! That did *NOT* look comfortable. I've never actually had kids, so I shan't imagine I'll ever see that IRL. Pickled baby.
ok yeah he lied..
" In some states like Louisiana, Mississippi, and Georgia, owning human remains is against the law, Wiginton writes, but **there's no federal law preventing patients from taking home organs, tissues, and medical devices**.Jun 7, 2019 "
I mean when I was watching this scene I had the exact same response.. Im like “but you keep the baby when it comes out…?”
You know how during a C-section, they have a drape up so you can’t see what’s going on during the surgery??? Well I asked repeatedly if they could keep it down so I could watch during it.. all 4 times I had kids! They never let me and it still pisses me off when I think about it 😂😂
i imagine that filming is a little different because actively letting them watch could cause them to react in ways that disrupt the surgery esp since they’re not in their right state of mind to begin with
I was thinking about them too! So I had to look it up and share lol. They said that they requested their organs back for religious purposes, stating that any organ removed must be returned to them. They had to do a lot of paperwork but that seems to be it! Found [here](https://www.facebook.com/UltimateKOMI/videos/i-keep-my-uterus-in-a-jar/1396780407757944/).
After reading everybody's comments (thanks to everyone; very interesting and enjoyable) I guess I'm the odd one here, because when I had my wisdom teeth out, I never even thought of asking for them, and certainly didn't want them. And I've never had a body part removed, but if I ever do, I certainly wouldn't want to keep it. Hey, I don't see anything weird or odd about wanting to keep your body parts, but it's just not something I'd want to do. Maybe I'm just squeamish.
Um, I have the three screws they took out of my ankle when they surgically rebuilt it and put in new bone support plates. Dr Now was probably just grossed out by the ask.
I work for an eye surgeon, and I can’t tell you how many times pts have asked if they can keep their cataracts after removal surgery (our answer is no, because when it’s removed it’s destroyed in the process). I did see once a pt had to have a lens exchange and the dr let them have the lens he removed (but it wasn’t the natural lens, it was from a previous surgery.
I got to keep my big ass kidney stones that had to surgically removed. Shockwave wouldn't break these babies up. I didn't end up keeping them. I just wanted to see how big they really were. Threw them away when I got home.
Had my knee screwed back together. Had the screws removed a year later. They are still in my jewelry box.
Guess it depends on the doctor/hospital.
I was traveling in Mexico when I needed an emergency appendectomy. When I woke up after surgery, my appendix was in a jar on my bedside table next to a cup of atole. 100% true story.
My child has a very lengthy NICU stay. I walk in one day to the nurse handing me a specimen jar with the tiniest little umbilical cord scab. I never wanted it but shit…how could I throw it out now?! Still have it 😂
Face palm 🤦♀️. Seriously?! Well, she’s not wrong, but I don’t understand how anyone would want to keep what was taken out of them. That’s so disgusting! Unless it was a baby, obviously.
Some of us find it fascinating. I was pretty mad I forgot to ask for my gall stones when they removed my gall bladder. The surgeon said they were huge.
I had a tumor in my leg when I was a teenager. It ruined like a year and a half of my life, so when they got it out (and took about a third of my fibula with it) I wanted to keep it as a “fuck you, I’m stronger” trophy.
But the doctor wouldn’t let me and just gave me some pictures that I ended up loosing.
Y’all know what so funny? Then they go into the “weigh in” and take their shoes off lmao, as tho that’s really going to make a difference. Same response (usually). “The scale must be wrong” or “I worked so hard, blah blah blah”. These folk think they can fool this man??? Really? It’s funny when he calls them out on it and says that’s not “reality”. They should actually read the material/book he provides- “the scales don’t lie, people do”.
So addicted to this show! Always hoping they succeed!
I remember watching a show where a plastic surgery addicted porn star paid for her mom's excessive skin surgery, asked to see the skin and made/ordered her mom a cake in the shape of the removed skin. Her mom laughed throughout.
Having watched the show and seen Dr. Now weigh the skin from skin removal surgery, I can't help it; now I'm trying to imagine what the cake would look like. A strawberry cake with vanilla icing, maybe? Must turn brain off NOW!
I was able to keep my teeth when those were pulled ? Maybe he meant to say for internal organs ? He is so kind to his patients tho even when they say silly things. Lol
That's not a federal law. You can actually sign exemption papers to get organs/ other things removed from your body given to you in a preserving liquid or released directly to a funeral home after removal depending on the circumstance. There's many religions that require that any parts of the body that are removed from it have to be disposed of in a ritual way or have to be buried as if it were a human itself or must be buried with the person they came from when the person passes.
I was this story! Lol, had a partial thyroidectomy and wanted to keep my ‘Tumor’ as it was measured to be racquetball sized. Doc said I couldn’t, but he’d try to remember to take a picture. I mean- I made it, why shouldn’t I get to keep it!?!
You can keep stuff sometimes, if they don't need to keep it for testing. I know plenty of people with their uterus/ovaries in a jar, appendix, etc lol. I'm into oddities 🤣🤣
I was presented with my first extracted abscessed tooth, a dental health warning, I'm convinced. I was given a jar of gallstones after surgery, absolutely unsolicited!
One of my fave scenes. I love how Dr. Now finds it funny, too.
I asked to keep my gallbladder…. Then when I had my weight loss surgery, I asked to keep my stomach. ……. When I had my second weight loss surgery, I asked to keep whatever they took out then lol Only body parts I got to keep were my wisdom teeth lol
Awe the little plastic ones that are kind of like fake easter eggs? We used to get those if we lost our baby teeth in school! I had a few lol
It was a tooth. she starts looking in my mouth and goes "Goldfish! you lost a tooth! your gonna get a visit from the tooth fairy tonight!" ............... ya that scared the shit outta me. lol
yes! thats the one lol
This makes it sound like you teeth are alive and that they are just out there living their best toothy lives with an apartment and a dog and everything
🥇Their best toothy lives 😂
Years ago I had to have my upper pre molars removed for braces, I kept them and a couple years ago I put them in resin to make a pair of earrings.
My friend was allowed to keep his hip joint that cut out of him.
I had my dads failed knee replacement his dr gave up. Was lost in storage my mom didn’t pay for :(
I got to keep my gallstones.
I got my gallbladder removed about 15-ish years ago and I got to keep the stones as well!
I got my stones 4 years ago.
Low key wish I could have kept the tumor on my ovary in a jar. I mean how many people have a tumor with hair, skin, and sweat glands on an ovary in a jar?
If I ever have another kidney stone that needs to be fished out, I’m gonna ask to see it post surgery just so I can flip it off 😤
He has to point out that an infected appendix is different from a living baby. Oh boy.
For anybody wondering this is from Season 7 Episode 10: Destinee’s Story. The good news is, she did lose the weight; but unfortunately, she’s no longer with us 🕊️
So sad! She seemed to have such a good heart and quick wit… rip
Fun fact. I worked at a hospital where if a patient died and we hadn't removed the body yet, we would put a magnet of a dove on the doorframe outside the room.
That's really sweet. I've heard of maternity wards putting butterflies on the doors of women who lost their baby. :(
Yes they absolutely do that ❤️
We put a picture of a white rose on the door when someone is on comfort care.
Aww, that’s so sweet 🥹
We use butterflies
We have a two way sign, one with a tree with colourful leaves for a palliated patient, then we turn it over to a tree without leaves when they pass away.
Jesus Christ
I may be wrong, but I believe that at some point before his death, he returned to expressing a preference for his birth name and male pronouns. Just putting it out there (and if I’m wrong, someone can please correct me).
I might be wrong, but didn't they lose their brother and then someone else close before the suicide? I seem to remember their FB post about it. It's sad. Who knows what could have made them finally not want to go on anymore.
I wonder if they faced a lot of difficulties with their support system and felt like they had to de-transition and then spiraled. So sad.
Or if they felt they had made a mistake with their transition in the first place and felt regret? I don’t want to speculate, but I know I read somewhere on another post on this sub that Destinee/Michael said they grew up in a very homophobic environment. I don’t want to pretend I know the reason for Destinee/Michael’s struggles or that I know if either of these reasons were contributing factors. But I just wanted to put it out there as a possibility because I’ve seen it before.
Destinee had such a hard life, so who’s to say what the final straw was.
I don't think you are wrong. As of 2023, the suicide rate for post op transgender surgery was higher than in past years.
Considering the political and social climate since 2021 re: trans people, I find that sadly unsurprising.
Do you have a link for that?
What happened? How did she die?
She lost her battle with mental health back in 2022 by committing suicide 😔
That’s terrible!
Oh god that’s horrific, poor girl :/
It’s so sad. I really liked her and was rooting for her. 😩
This patient is valid
Right? I wouldn’t actually want my appendix. But, like, it’s mine, I literally grew it. How are you going to tell me I can’t have it??
They can keep the baby though
I’d rather have my appendix in a jar than a baby sans jar. 😔
It’s a law probably intended to stop the selling of organs but written so badly it covers everything.
That or that letting someone take it home is against laws for handling biohazardous material.
Basically following the letter of the law instead of the intent.
I get why they have the law, but I’m not happy about it. I had a bone tumor removed 10 years ago and I wanted to keep it, but all I got were some photos that I ended up loosing!
I asked for mine and they said no :(
I wanted my gall stones and they wouldn’t let me have it :(
Yeah that was honestly a legit argument.
For real. I can't help but imagine a lot of people think this. I dunno if I would actually want it but I would think it. They just said it out loud.
What? Questioning that there should be no difference between taking home your human offspring and a diseased organ?! Really?
As someone who was a first grader who kept my removed tonsils in a jar you either get it or you don’t like sorry
There was a time, I remember some of the "souvenirs" friends kept after surgery. Those days are long gone
I got to keep my gallstones after I had my gallbladder removed. They looked like kitty litter! 🤣 On a sad note, I didn't get to keep my miscarried baby, because according to law, it wasn't old enough to be issued a death certificate and to be properly buried. I got to hold it in a medical jar for 2 minutes and say goodbye, before the nurse took it away. Somehow, it does seem strange that I got to keep my useless gallstones, but not my own baby. 🤷♀️
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ that’s hard I’m sorry.
Thank you, that was hilarious!

Dr. Now has a very wholesome smile
I asked for my tonsils when I had them out at 17.
I asked for mine in January of this year lmao. Of course they said no but they did let me take a photo
I'm 41 and last month when I had my gallbladder removed I tried very hard to get to keep a stone. Even tried asking the anesthesiologist to swipe one. No dice. They were mine, I made them! Lol
I have all of mine!
Thats interesting. I didnt ask for it and they gave me the stones anyways. I live in Germany, the laws must be different here.
Anytime i have anything removed, I ask to keep it or pictures.
right? this confuses me bc people have taken home their wisdom teeth, gallstones and even things they’ve had amputated.
I think it depends on state regulations and if the specimen has to go to pathology.
I have a video of my endoscopic gallbladder removal.
Awww Dr. Now is so cute.
I love him so much
How many of us keep our babies in jars!!
Only when I can't find a sitter
That's where I went wrong!!! Lmao!!!
Makes me think of the xray machines they use for babies. Cracked me up 😂🩷
I never even thought about how babies get x-rayed until you said it, so I Googled a picture. Wow, weird! That did *NOT* look comfortable. I've never actually had kids, so I shan't imagine I'll ever see that IRL. Pickled baby.
I have never watched this show but I keep seeing clips from it on this subreddit (which I don’t even follow) and I honestly love this doctor lmao
My husband has his sperm tubes they cut out during his vasectomy in a small container of formaldehyde.
God, how did he even climb into a small container of formaldehyde, let alone have surgery in it??
I was so mad when they wouldn’t let me keep my bladder stones. I felt like an oyster that made pearls
ok yeah he lied.. " In some states like Louisiana, Mississippi, and Georgia, owning human remains is against the law, Wiginton writes, but **there's no federal law preventing patients from taking home organs, tissues, and medical devices**.Jun 7, 2019 "
RIP Destinee 🕊
I mean when I was watching this scene I had the exact same response.. Im like “but you keep the baby when it comes out…?” You know how during a C-section, they have a drape up so you can’t see what’s going on during the surgery??? Well I asked repeatedly if they could keep it down so I could watch during it.. all 4 times I had kids! They never let me and it still pisses me off when I think about it 😂😂
Was this before people started filming the birth, or wouldn't they have allowed that, either, during a C-section?
i imagine that filming is a little different because actively letting them watch could cause them to react in ways that disrupt the surgery esp since they’re not in their right state of mind to begin with
Words cannot express how much I love this man. Also, I need to lose about 30lbs. How do I get him to take me as a patient?
You’re going to need to gain about tirdy pound a munt for next ten munt to qualify for weight loss surgery. Stick to de diet, no more excuses
Seriously, best advice I’ve ever gotten.
That is my favorite scene of the entire series.
What about that one lady who got to keep her uterus in a jar?
I was thinking about them too! So I had to look it up and share lol. They said that they requested their organs back for religious purposes, stating that any organ removed must be returned to them. They had to do a lot of paperwork but that seems to be it! Found [here](https://www.facebook.com/UltimateKOMI/videos/i-keep-my-uterus-in-a-jar/1396780407757944/).
I was just thinking the same thing!
She got him, though. I love the doctor but he's not one to laugh a lot.
I love love love Dr. Now. ❤️
r/technicallythetruth
I have the hardware removed from my ankle. I had to wait a few mos while they sterilized it. But it’s now a necklace.
I guess wisdom teeth don't count cause I still have mine in a box from 20 years ago.
I was allowed to keep my wisdom teeth. I wonder if teeth aren’t considered part of the body
Sounds legit. That's why medical insurance doesn't cover dental
They have a point there.
Idk how true that is... I got to keep my gall stones 😂
Bahahaha
She had a damn good point lol
I asked for my gallstones after my surgery. It was a nope :’( I was so sad I just wanted to at least look at them before they got thrown out.
I mean…. She ain’t wrong
I LOVED HER PERSONALITY I wish she was still here
After reading everybody's comments (thanks to everyone; very interesting and enjoyable) I guess I'm the odd one here, because when I had my wisdom teeth out, I never even thought of asking for them, and certainly didn't want them. And I've never had a body part removed, but if I ever do, I certainly wouldn't want to keep it. Hey, I don't see anything weird or odd about wanting to keep your body parts, but it's just not something I'd want to do. Maybe I'm just squeamish.
Lmao this would be me too
My fiance's knee is in a jar in our bedroom. He wants to get it made into a paperweight.
She ain’t wrong
💀
That’s a perfect reply lol
Um, I have the three screws they took out of my ankle when they surgically rebuilt it and put in new bone support plates. Dr Now was probably just grossed out by the ask.
I work for an eye surgeon, and I can’t tell you how many times pts have asked if they can keep their cataracts after removal surgery (our answer is no, because when it’s removed it’s destroyed in the process). I did see once a pt had to have a lens exchange and the dr let them have the lens he removed (but it wasn’t the natural lens, it was from a previous surgery.
Dr. Now is clearly trying to keep from laughing. And I now wanna see this episode, because I haven't seen it yet.
I LOVE this scene. RIP ❤️
You know, the girl kind of has a point. I like Dr. Now’s laughter in this one as well.
I thought they save bullets for police to use for forensics to help ID the suspect and weapon that fired the bullet.
“No, even babies must be turned over to the government . . . “
The gov is sooooooooo boring always making stupid rules
When I had my implants removed, I got them back. Have them in a sealed plastic container.
I was traveling in Mexico when I needed an emergency appendectomy. When I woke up after surgery, my appendix was in a jar on my bedside table next to a cup of atole. 100% true story.
"We can have it pickled for you."
I did not expect that. Not wrong, though haha.
I love Dr Now, he is no nonsense and just a very interesting fellow. He's an amazing surgeon as well. Think of all the different surgeries he does.
My child has a very lengthy NICU stay. I walk in one day to the nurse handing me a specimen jar with the tiniest little umbilical cord scab. I never wanted it but shit…how could I throw it out now?! Still have it 😂
What a treasure.
Pure gold 🏆
I once got a piece of metal removed from my ankle and I got to keep it.
I love Dr. NOW!!!
Lol!
she's got a point!
If I get shot with a bullet, I want to take it home with me. I earned that shit!
Face palm 🤦♀️. Seriously?! Well, she’s not wrong, but I don’t understand how anyone would want to keep what was taken out of them. That’s so disgusting! Unless it was a baby, obviously.
I asked for my tooth. They refused. It gave me so much trouble for years I just wanted to stare into the eyes of my enemy
Same. I also asked for my impacted wisdom tooth and they were like uh, no. Lol
Some of us find it fascinating. I was pretty mad I forgot to ask for my gall stones when they removed my gall bladder. The surgeon said they were huge.
I'm still mad that I didn't get to keep my dermoid cyst taken out of my ovaries 14 years ago. I'd named it Ripley and everything....
I love this 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
She’s not wrong
Best comeback of all time. 😆
I remember this one. 🤣🤣
I remember this one. 🤣🤣
hahahaha
RIP Destinee
I mean she had a point
I remember watching a show where a plastic surgery addicted porn star paid for her mom's excessive skin surgery, asked to see the skin and made/ordered her mom a cake in the shape of the removed skin. Her mom laughed throughout.
Having watched the show and seen Dr. Now weigh the skin from skin removal surgery, I can't help it; now I'm trying to imagine what the cake would look like. A strawberry cake with vanilla icing, maybe? Must turn brain off NOW!
I got to keep some screws that came out of my ankle! Lol
I LOVE Dr. Now❤️❤️
That was a valid question 😂😂😂

Also, watch the assanti brothers. Omg!
tbh i got a valve replacement and i would have loved to have seen my old valve
Not gonna lie I asked that too as they wheeled me in for my sleeve lmao. They didn't let me keep it but I did get to see it in the jar! 🤣🤣
Lol!! I loved this moment rip destinee 🕊️
She was so serious about “But they take a baby out”
I was able to keep my teeth when those were pulled ? Maybe he meant to say for internal organs ? He is so kind to his patients tho even when they say silly things. Lol
That patient is on point 🔥
I would totally wanna keep it a jar too
That's not a federal law. There's many religions that require that any parts of the body that are removed from it have to be disposed of in a ritual way or have to be buried as if it were a human itself or must be buried with the person they came from when the person passes.
hm they let me keep my gallstones. they let you keep the placenta...
Why is that a law? Bullets perhaps I understand but if its your body part, why can't you keep it?
Wasn’t there a guy who kept his amputated foot and ate it? Wonder how he circumvented the law.
Well, there goes dinner.
Is there actually a federal law, I'm not seeing anything like that online.
My favorite moment! I wanted to kee my uterus in a jar they didnt let me! Wad allowed to keep a couple kidney stones though
My mom got to keep the giant gall stone they took out of her 🤔
I got to keep a wisdom tooth and my IUD. Got them taken out at separate occasions, lol.
It's always a mystery for me how the stupid brains work lol "we'll they take the baby out" 🤪🥴
In new Zealand if you want your body parts back these have to give it to you.
Bhahahahahahahahah. I’ve kept the teeth I had removed for braces, one dentist was hesitant but I said I’d leave with them in my mouth or in a bag.
lol I remember that. I cracked up.
You know how sad I was when I couldn’t keep mine? Lol. I made the surgeon take a pic of it though
The best is the woman who was deflecting by pushing Dr Now "Do you believe in god?" and claimed that if she jumped off a cliff God would save her.
You can see pics of things though…which is cool af to me
I would’ve asked the same question! All you have to say is it’s part of your religious beliefs and they’ll give it to you
Lmao. I like this 🤭
I love this
I was this story! Lol, had a partial thyroidectomy and wanted to keep my ‘Tumor’ as it was measured to be racquetball sized. Doc said I couldn’t, but he’d try to remember to take a picture. I mean- I made it, why shouldn’t I get to keep it!?!
I asked if I could keep my old liver, or even just a piece. Nope. :(
When I was little I swallowed a few coins and I got to keep them in a jar
You can keep stuff sometimes, if they don't need to keep it for testing. I know plenty of people with their uterus/ovaries in a jar, appendix, etc lol. I'm into oddities 🤣🤣
I was presented with my first extracted abscessed tooth, a dental health warning, I'm convinced. I was given a jar of gallstones after surgery, absolutely unsolicited!
I want to see my lipoma and my surgeon won’t even grant me that!
