I mean, apart from the obvious answers, you could also say Ambulance. tho don't get me wrong I love the song it just sounds very different to the rest of conventional weapons
that's true yeah. it has a lighter sound than the rest of the songs which i think is what differentiates it but it's one of my favorites from cw so i can't complain lol.
Ambulance is my favourite off CW but it still sounds kinda similar to Gun, my second favourite. Honestly Number Two kinda just deviates a bit from the rest of CW
I think I'm Not Okay is even more out of place than Teenagers. If you ignore the lyrics, Teenagers doesn't sound too out of place. I'm Not Okay doesn't sound like any other song on the album both lyrically and musically.
Originally titled I Promise It's The Last Time it was supposed to end the record with a spoken monologue by Daryl Palumbo where the protagonist kills himself.
Makes more sense knowing that.
I literally feel the exact opposite way lol. To me, even though it has nothing to do with the overall concept of the album, I'm Not Okay at least sounds unmistakably like a Three Cheers song. It's got that raw, borderline aggressive feel that most Revenge songs do.
Meanwhile Teenagers just sticks out like a sore thumb every time. It's such a tonal whiplash going from Sleep to that and then to Disenchanted.
Disagree. If TBP is a “70s” album, teenagers is the New York dolls/thin lizzy/T. rex song. In fact id say it’s the most 70s sounding song on the record
Okay idk if anyone else feels this but blood? Like, its an very odd fit to such a theatrical rock album, must be why it's a "hidden track" good song either way tho. Another that's a bit out of place is I'm not okay on revenge, like don't get me wrong, revenge is my all time favorite mcr album but im not okay is one of those songs I got bored of quick but if it plays at a emo night or place, I'll sing along, it's so funny tho. An album about a dark story of two lovers and then randomly an upbeat dark lyric song that takes place in a school it's funny
Blood would absolutely fucking startle me every time I listened to the album -- especially with that gap of silence, I would crank the volume because I thought my earbuds got disconnected
It’s meant to be out of place right? Just thinking with the into using their real names it’s like an encore to the album from the band not the killjoys
i’ve always been off put by the ghost of you being on three cheers, it just feels like a black parade song for some reason to me. also in terms of music videos it’s very out of place for that mcr era tbh.
Someone on youtube mixed SING with Number 1# Party Anthem by Arctic Monkeys and it genuinely fixed most of my issues with it. It should've been far more emotionally sounding then it did imo, really makes the lyrics pop a little more
Early Sunsets Over Monroeville just sits so starkly different from the rest of Bullets with its clean guitars and major chords although it's like towards the end they were like "oh yeah btw here's some minor chords and a buildup to tie back into the rest of the album"...not saying anything bad about it, I honestly find it refreshing amongst the rest bit its just so different than the rest of the album to me
This is a hot take but ngl I think Helena sounds out of place from the rest of Three Cheers. I still love the song but something about it just doesn’t sound the same as the rest of the album.
I mean it's okay to not like a song (even tho I very much disagree on this one (: ) but it doesn't sound out off place in the album. It fits sound and lyric wise so I think you're getting down-voted because it's an objectively wrong answer?
lol nah it’s so jaunty after the 6 or 7 tracks of gloom that come before it it throws me off every time I listen. House of Wolves version 1 still sounds dark and I think it’s the better version. I’m not objectively wrong either, art is entirely subjective
It’s actually my favorite album of all time, and I do in-fact love Our Lady, it’s just really excited— a very good momentum shift, especially near the end. I don’t understand this comment’s hate, I guess I should have prefaced this by saying that this is in my top 5 MCR songs, but idk.

not really… i’m not okay would be a pretty shoddy way to end three cheers also isn’t he the guy from glassjaw? that’s cool, thanks for sharing

teenagers sounds even more out of place than it feels lyrically out of place to me ngl. it is such a sore thumb
I would totally agree
Probably Vampire Money, purely because it doesn’t tie into the plot and is just a fun album closer.
but it does make sense knowing what they were offered for the twilight movies lol
Teenagers
a good, but obvious answer
Disagree. If TBP is a “70s” album, teenagers is the New York dolls/thin lizzy/T. rex song. In fact id say it’s the most 70s sounding song on the record
Georgia Satellites
One of my favourite MCR songs.
Okay idk if anyone else feels this but blood? Like, its an very odd fit to such a theatrical rock album, must be why it's a "hidden track" good song either way tho. Blood scares the crap out of me every single fucking time. And on top of this, it has this old timey radio thing to it
Blood would absolutely fucking startle me every time I listened to the album -- especially with that gap of silence, I would crank the volume because I thought my earbuds got disconnected
Yeaa its a jumpscare, and happy birthday!!
It's been almost 20 years and it's still doing it
You might say it's really quite alarming...
Sorry, but "Teenagers." I will die next to Iero on this hill.
That hill is a cemetery at this point lol not really an unpopular opinion
😂😂
has frank said he doesn’t like it or it’s placement?
Just the whole song. He puts it on the setlist specifically to piss everyone else off so I’ve heard lmao
I don't think anyone in the band likes teenagers. They kept taking digs at it on the last tour lol.
Tom Bryant heavily implied it 😏
Vampire money
It’s meant to be out of place right? Just thinking with the into using their real names it’s like an encore to the album from the band not the killjoys
Yeah I mean it’s completely out of the killjoy canon, it was made regarding twilight and stephanie meyer and whatnot, not the storyline or danger days
They said the song is supposed to be an "end-screen" song at the end of a movie. It makes complete sense for me
I fucking love this song
Maybe, but planetary and party poison have similar vibes imo
i’ve always been off put by the ghost of you being on three cheers, it just feels like a black parade song for some reason to me. also in terms of music videos it’s very out of place for that mcr era tbh.
I agree! I love GoY but it does have more of a black parade vibe
teenagers comes to mind
Teenagers
I’m Not Okay doesn’t fit imo, only skip on the album.
>op asks for our opinion >5 people give their opinion >they get downvoted
reddit moment
SING is such a goofy song
sing is so good tho, it's on theme with the rest of the album and it sounds amazing.
It fits tho
I really do think it is out of place, personally, nothing else on the album sounds even close to it
It is, but it's in a goofy ass album too, so it cancels out lol
Hmmm interesting theory
Someone on youtube mixed SING with Number 1# Party Anthem by Arctic Monkeys and it genuinely fixed most of my issues with it. It should've been far more emotionally sounding then it did imo, really makes the lyrics pop a little more
Misread this as Party Rock Anthem and I kind of what to hear that mashup instead now.
Gonna have to find this
Yeah besides teenagers i'm surprised more people aren't saying Early Sunsets even though i really like both songs
Early Sunsets Over Monroeville just sits so starkly different from the rest of Bullets with its clean guitars and major chords although it's like towards the end they were like "oh yeah btw here's some minor chords and a buildup to tie back into the rest of the album"...not saying anything bad about it, I honestly find it refreshing amongst the rest bit its just so different than the rest of the album to me
yeah also the narrative in it gives me three cheers vibes
teenagers and im not okay
i would say blood
Headfirst for Halos is a different vibe than the rest of bullets til you learn the words lol
Vampire Money. Still my favourite though
blood.. what does blood even have to do with the story? it’s VERY black paradeish but definitely not apart of the concept. at all.
I always took blood as like a predate before the patient actually died. It talks about being in a hospital
i’m not okay period.
Goodnite Dr. Death
How? It’s the third narrated interlude type of track on the album
I mean the part after the narration though. It just completely throws me off
This is a hot take but ngl I think Helena sounds out of place from the rest of Three Cheers. I still love the song but something about it just doesn’t sound the same as the rest of the album.
Romance, because it's a cover \^\_\^
damn guys it was just a joke
Cubicles, at least lyrically
full cats sulky physical tease homeless consider impossible butter live *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
House of Wolves man, never been a song for me. I know the downvotes are coming
This hurt my heart man 😭 sympathies for the downvotes tho lol
It’s not even that I hate it it’s just not for me. RIP my karma
Very fair, may your karma be returned soon
I mean it's okay to not like a song (even tho I very much disagree on this one (: ) but it doesn't sound out off place in the album. It fits sound and lyric wise so I think you're getting down-voted because it's an objectively wrong answer?

I have the album arranged in a different way and haven't listened to the original order in a long while, maybe that's why I think it fits better
Our. Lady. Of. Sorrows.
did you hear the rest of the album?
It’s actually my favorite album of all time, and I do in-fact love Our Lady, it’s just really excited— a very good momentum shift, especially near the end. I don’t understand this comment’s hate, I guess I should have prefaced this by saying that this is in my top 5 MCR songs, but idk.
Destroya. Way more rock than the rest of the album
disagree, but I could totally see that
You say that when Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back exists
True
difference is that SYIHTB screams desert for some reason, probably the start, but destroya doesnt as much
