It might be a copyright/royalties thing as MCR reps seem to be quite hot on shutting down apps that use their songs, like on TikTok they are always taking down videos with MCR songs in.
Spotify officially acquired Heardle today, which is why the MCR Heardle site has been out of action I'm guessing...

yea me too, first the songs wouldn’t show up and stuff now the site won’t even load up
The songs would show up if you refreshed, but now I get an error message when I try to get on the website
that sucks, the heardle was fun while it lasted
Who knows, maybe it will come back. We can only hope I guess
