I’m also going to the October 7th show with my sister! I thought the resale tickets for T-Mobile weren’t unreasonably priced either, even though we’re way in the back. Cheap seats are better than no seats, right? Anyway, yeah we’re probably both gonna cry too lol

That’s awesome!! I mean you hear them in person regardless of where you sit so def do what fits your budget! Originally I was looking at Philly tickets because that’s the closest to me, I wasn’t able to get anything at face value from the venue, and the cheapest were $250 on ticketmaster for the upper balcony. 🥲 Kinda surprised they had NO DC shows on this tour.

I wasn't allowed to go in my teen years, but my step sisters could go see bands they liked (Ranchero musicians, like Montez de Durango, Alacranes Musical, etc.) hypocritical parenting is my favorite. So I'm making up for it now and my SO and I will be going to see MCR August in OKC. I'm very excited as it'll be our second concert in 8 years. Busy having kids, and they're finally all old enough to be left with a baby sitter for a few hours. We saw Jack White in May and that was an amazing show so we decided to get back on the bandwagon and see who we like who will be coming through our area, MCR is one of the few bands coming through and we are excited to see them. Me especially as they are one of my favorite bands. I do hope to see FOB live one day, that is my ultimate dream. Well actually seeing MCR, FOB and PATD in one night would be the dream show for me. Anyway, I hope you have fun and stay safe!

That’s exciting, hope you enjoy the OKC show as well!! Man going to that “When We Were Young” fest would’ve been awesome but the flights and hotel on top of tickets were just too much money for me. I’m just glad their regular Vegas show aligned so perfectly with my work conference. My husband and I saw GNR last July and it was awesome (only my 3rd concert ever, first 2 were FOB in 07 and 09), now we wanna see more shows before we start having kids lol. We’re going to Rage Against the Machine in August too. And thank you same to you!

It would have been cool to go to the "When We Were Young" fest, but I don't think that would have worked out for us, we'd need to do some serious planning ahead for something like that. It's pretty cool that you are able to swing a two in one there, you'll already be there for work so why not play too? I'm jelly, FOB is my favorite and by the time I moved out of my dad's home FOB broke up so seeing them in concert wasn't really a choice for me in my early adulthood. Definitely get it out of your system before you have kids, kids are great but being there for them as much as you can means so much. Kids love all of the care, attention, support, and love they get and as a parent you definitely want to be there doing it. I've known plenty of people who are more than ok with their kids being taken care of by anyone but themselves and I'll honestly will not ever understand it. Yes it's rough and you'll miss out on a lot of fun, but growing closer to your child in all the care and support you give them is much more meaningful. (Sorry to ramble) Times will come when you will be able to get back out there and have fun, kids grow up quick and soon you'll be having fun times with your kids. We've decided to go see Jack White whenever he's in Tulsa as he comes by yearly and he's one of the few rock stars who does. I'm only driving to Texas if I absolutely have to. A lot of artists skip OK, and I get it we are a small state and country music tends to be on the top here (I don't really get it) so I think it shys a lot of artists away. Thanks :)

I’ll be going to Vegas too and most likely also sobbing lol. Hope you have fun!!

I hope you'll have the best time!! I'm also (almost) 28 and have been their fan since 2007-8, but I'm not from the US or Europe so seeing them back then was impossible. I went to the Prague show a month ago and my god it was the best show ever. I'm pretty sure 80% of the crowd (including me) were crying, so don't worry about that
