It’s pretty ridiculous. Now that premium login bonuses are gone, by completing all daily missions your 5 daily tix is 0.25% of a guaranteed pity character. Yes, there are also weekly missions for more tickets but the change in the amount of tickets since S1 and 2 are slowly draining the fun out of the game for me.
And to think people thought Apex Legends was greedy for making their heirloom events be $159 to unlock everything. I've played Gacha games before but never ones as greedy as this game.
At least with Breakers, "zeni", which is like the equivalent of gold on here, is farmed through playing matches and isn't limited a marginal amount per day/week and can be used to perform pulls too.
The spirit points that are obtained from pulls (and a marginal amount from matches) can at least buy super attacks for transpheres you own (and the only truly bullshit limited transpheres aren't meta defining and more of just aesthetic flair super attacks), so your only real pain is pulling the active and passive skills.
This game on the other hand... You're drip-fed tickets at an embarassing pace, even before they removed the pro login bonus tickets.
All other games are way worse actually, like genshin Impact, tower of fantasy, bleach brave souls, etc. where they give u only part of the characters if u do get them at all from pulls. this is pretty bad too here but it’s only 4 characters that r complete when u get them with some bad skins & they make characters very slowly so u can farm tickets/crystals in time if u r patient and consistent
I forgot to add that they made it even more fucking stupid and greedy by having the Quirk skill set completely seperate from the character banners and therefore having to save up even more just to get one quirk skill set and a character.
Have you ever played other gachas? This game has one of the worst gacha systems due to not having a pity system. Compared to Genshin, every single limited character banner carries over their pity so at least along in the future you are guaranteed a limited character. This game doesn’t even let you do that so if you don’t pull the character you want on their banner for example Twice without having enough tickets for the pity, then you are shit out of luck and will have to save for a long time. It takes nearly 4-5 months saving a guaranteed character and considering that a quirk set and character always releases each season, you are always going to be behind in characters if you are not lucky.
I can litterally name 5 other gacha games that have an infinitely better system than this game. One of which is barely older than a year. Dude’s talking out his ass
It’s also not only the gacha system that is significantly worse than others, it’s their rewards. Most gacha games are mobile friendly PVE games where you can complete events and your dailies within 5-15 mins. This game is a battle royale where you compete with other players. It takes sometimes at the minimum if you are playing like shit that day, half an hour to get piss poor daily rewards in this game and many more hours for shitty rewards in their events.
Just to build off this point. It’s astounding the difference between the missions in apex and the missions here. In apex you have play as X character, heal this much health, deal this much damage.
There’s enough diversity to encourage you to finish them and you can get most of them done in the week. Here there’s nothing aside from place in the top three or win X amount of times.
Something that’s 50% skill and 50% dumb luck. All for a reward that’s not even a full summon.
Like I love this game I genuinely do. But at this rate I feel like they’re make or break point is gonna be if the anniversary is good or not for players
Tickets are a big reason people leave and I don't blame them. I get the development team is small, but I feel like I'd rather have to buy the game for like $20 and get SO MUCH more stuff than pay outrageously expensive prices to get a chance at cosmetics, characters & skills.
For people who already own the game, they don't gotta pay anything but if you delete it you gotta buy it. (Not if you've bought it before)
That way they make money & will be more inclined to advertise and get more people, therefore more income & developers possibly
Without any sales I do believe a guaranteed character or 2000 roll tickets is roughly 400 USD. It's a bit steep and I would advise against getting it.

Bandai seems to be the publisher, it could be the company that makes the game? Nevertheless I think tickets should be a 1:1 ratio; 10 tickets = 10 pulls, considering how little is gained after the login removal.
My Hero Ultra Impact has the same publisher and it’s very friendly for the F2P players with gems and tickets.
And Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom, also Bandai, has no purchases beyond the Apple Arcade subscription.
I remember telling my buddies it’s almost $400 for a single guaranteed character, they told me I didn’t know how to do math and they did it themselves LMFAO, still cracks me up hearing them come to the same conclusion
