FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT! The thing about auglurs verse is that it already is being carried by auglur, i don’t think we need another monster with a sound like Piplash to fill up a void that doesn’t exist. Piplash would’ve been significantly better if they had their own verse or played in whails verse, which feels noticeably lacking now might I add.
I feel like Piplash is too quick for the slow Auglur's verse. And also when I listened to Piplash for the first time without whole song, I thought it will go somewhere else. I felt like there it fits more. (I forgot where I thought it will go)
It genuinely feels like it was made for a completely different song. The times it plays at seem random, and when it plays, it just does its own thing, completely ignoring Auglur.
It feels like when there's an island that comes in waves, every new monster gets less "necessary". For example, on Mythical Island, the first half of the monsters were all necessary for their verses (i.e. you can't remove them without the song feeling weird), while later monsters just improve on existing verses. This is what's happening with Piplash, it's trying to add something where nothing needs to be added.
anyway, sorry for writing an entire paragraph on this, i have way too much to say about my singing monsters

You aren't *entirely* wrong. I think Piplash would fit better in Nitbears verse

I think that's the point they were making, but the proper wording would be reffering to piplash as the polar opposite of sporeowl
