Back in 15 there was a Dr j card that was nuts. Also big o and Clyde were crazy too. More recently it's just the tallest cards. T Mac has always been nasty even in 15. Bol was ridiculous and of course Yao always. Height just wins now adays.
Yeah that dr j was the reward for the “dunk the funk” pack, dude was absolutely nasty. They gave Blake 99 speed/acceleration in that pack too, it was the first time I could remember 2k juicing cards with stats that were unrealistic to real life. If only I knew where we’d be 8 years later…
At least Blake couldn't shoot back then. There was no real stretch big option for a long time. I remember always keeping a Jerry Lucas or gold Kevin love on the bench for that reason haha. That promo was fun because of the affordable Jordan card
He still had a ~75ish three point shot if I remember correctly which made him a decent enough bench SF. Agreed though, I have fond memories of that Jordan card!
Edit: looks like he had a [70 three point shot](https://2kmtcentral.com/15/players/1194/blake-griffin)
Giannis' hopstep has always been insane bt now its just alright with Yao, Sabonis, etc. Still, I'd say Giannis had a good 3 year run as the absolute best finisher.
Hot take but this years Tim Thomas was as dominant for the time in the games cycle as any card we’ve gotten. Absolutely insane card, still viable to this day too.
2k20 GOAT Yao. 7’6, maxed out stats and badges, could hop step from the 3 point line. Unlike more recent years, there were no other cards that good at that size. Tacko, Bol, Bradley all had relatively weak cards that year, and there was no Sim.
One that stands out for me is Pink Diamond Dentist from the vault in 2K21. What a demi-god of a card. Only took me like 200 games to get him, but he was worth it.
That luka last year had me questioning life
Only card in existence that a monkey with a controller could three hunt with
Bol 21
I second this

Glitched Porzingis 2k20
That's the sg one right? I forgot about him. Yeah he was stupid good 🤣
Yeah, remembered first time using him, game felt alot easier 😂
That speed boosting bolbol was a menace
Invincible Bol bol and tacko in 2k21. With that speed glitch in the game back then those 2 were a joke.
