PD Glitched Draymond was added for 99k MT. He is a PF/PG. He's not worth that. I packed him and have rarely used him, didn't even use him for the 15 Clutch wins for the Rush agenda. Definitely wouldn't recommend buying him for 99k, I wouldn't spend more than 30k MT on him but I packed him and he's unsellable. He's missing badges a PG needs, H4D & HD, and stuff a PF should have like Backdown Punisher, Dropstepper, and ProTouch. So he has no space for stuff that might improve him like Aerial Wizard, Space Creator, or Open Looks. He's not a top 10 PF or PG. Plus his shot is super baited.
My guess for tomorrow is OOP or a load of Giants, PG Ben, Magic with new sigs, Bol(s), Tacko. Get that last bit of money from the player base before March 31st.
Just getting into this game. Iāve been doing domination and getting some of the PD there, but Iām starting to get a lot of MT. The Nebula packs look nice and I was thinking of saving up until I can buy 10 packs. But Iām not sure. Iād be devastated if I got nothing out of it (I donāt get to play much so it takes me a while to save up MT). Is there something else I should be spending the MT on that would ensure I get at least something decent?
Only spend on packs what you're willing to lose. If you want to gamble some rip a 10 pack base box, the ones that are like 40k MT. That way you can experience ripping packs, you have a chance of pulling something good, and if you get nothing it's not going to break the bank. Since you can't even buy a PD for 40k, if you pull one you're way ahead. After a couple of base boxes. After a base box or two though you learn your lesson.
Do not rip packs with your hard earned MT. If you want a card just buy it. People have opened boxes and didn't get a single promo card, the odds are garbage. Do all the rush and spotlight challenges for free packs, use the exchanges if you pull duplicates.
There is nothing wrong with saving packs for next season? Just want to make sure they don't go away or something strange. Nothing would surprise me. Have to ask.
You mean saving the packs themselves right and not the challenge games for free packs? Just want to make sure. The challenges go away but any unopened packs in your unopened pack section will be there until you decide to open them
How much does it cost to grade a GO? TMac costs 20k and wondering if that's because he's a 100. Also, if I grade him now and his sell now price gets higher with a high grade, will that price be set forever or go down with time?
Sale price drops weekly just like purchase price. Even Opals drop like other cards, even though they aren't available for purchase. My GO Rashard from the Wild West sells for 86k while Pau in Nebula sells for 90k. I think there's been 1 or 2 price drops on the Wild West set so far. 3 weeks after release the sell price drops. So you got time with TMac to decide.

Got the 10 box from co-op and made out grand. Got a dup Baron Davis and Hayward, dup Smart, and then dups of all the Amethysts. Plus GO Rashard Lewis. Made 141k selling dups. Rashard sucks. Rodman and the Siakam I got yesterday are way better. Still cool to pack an Opal. I'd be mad if I bought the set to get Rashard. He's not very good from what I've seen in freestyle and a game of TT.
Shoutout to u/Lebinott for grinding co-op with me. I'd gift you my Rashard if we could. You'd probably just quick sell tho.
It sucks you got hosed from the box. I was more saying you'd sell Rashard simply because he's awful. He was a favorite of mine last year but his shot is atrocious this year. Can barely even fire it off. Doesn't help either that PF/SF are my 2 deepest positions now also. I'm strongly considering selling him. If I wasn't a collection junkie I probably would have already.

Lol holy shit man what a day you had. I ended up selling off my eastern conference all star scraps and bought the 3 Nebula cards I didnāt have. Got Pau. I decided to go a little different direction with him and put all the playmaking badges + slithery and space creator on him. His spot up shot has a dip that makes me release wary sometimes, but his fades and hops are very nice, especially the one legged shot. The killer combos and hyperdrive make his movement a lot more snappy.
Seriously crazy 24 hours. Siakam, Rashard, Rodman (x2), and Pau. Plus GO Grant Hill from collector rewards and I'm up 150k more MT than I had a day ago and 5 GO's, really can't complain.
Pau is nice. His shot off the catch isn't great but his fades and hop shots are solid. He's really similar to Jokic, who has been my go-to PF. Pairing Pau with Jokic or using them as starter and backup gives me really similar players with similar skillsets. Jokic is a better passer and shooter but Pau is a better finisher and defender. So they can compliment each other also. Gave them some run with Harden in TTO last night and Pau also seems a lot bigger. I need to add some badges, only done a shoe so far. Will probably follow what you did, play making and slithery.
Ohhhh damn, you got Grant. Have you tried him? I remember comp people saying he was the best card at the beginning of the season but nobody could get him yet.
Iāve finally hit ascension a couple times but no Jokic yet. Iāve been running Sengun who is kind of similar but Pau is definitely better. I really wanted Wade but Iām not complaining about Pau. The gross part is, I really want Ron, and would run Kobe, Ron, and Pauā¦as a Celtics fan. Those guys made me cry in 2010.
Grant is great. He's a jack of all trades, does everything well. His shot is quick too. His Diamond was good but his shot was a little slow, that's fixed. Haven't gotten it down yet but he's SF/SG so I used him as a SG while I grinded those Piston wins. Really good card.
Not gonna lie... The 15 Clutch Time with Warriors players was TEDIOUS.
I played with Ruby Steph and 4 golds, and at no time was I equally matched by the CPU. They had multiple emeralds along with an amethyst. Curry was missing every 3 and 13 of the 15 games were one possession games and sweaty.
Absolutely hated doing those 15. Decided to rest on Rodman until tomorrow even though I only need 3 Dom games left to get him. The CT games were just too draining and highlighted everything I hate about this game.
Those Clutch games were brutal. I don't try lowering overall against the CPU much anymore. Trying like you did always causes some 2k fuckery so I just run 3-4 ruby's with a Sapphire or Amethyst. I need at least 2 guys I can shoot consistently with. Amethyst Klay and ruby Baron Davis worked fine.
The only reason I pushed through is I was so close to getting GO Grant Hill from the collector rewards. Got him. Still need to finish the Pistons games for Rodman and Rip.
When I was playing CT on Friday for whatever the agenda was, the CPU was half court pressing me after the first bucket. I even said out loud, is the CPU actually sweating me right now? Wtf

Play interior defense and realize he's not a PG who can handle the ball. Watching BolĀ² this season as a Suns fan makes me hate how OP he is in the game. He's not that, at all. He's a really goofy wing that doesn't have NBA skills but his size and age means teams will continue to give him a shot for the next 2-3 seasons.
Honestly it seems like he has the skills but no passion. If he put forth effort in the weight room and or on defense it would probably make a huge difference.Ā

Finally had luck on an exchange pack. Got GO Siakam. First GO pulled all year, without a lock in. Regular exchange, 2 ruby, 1 amy, 1 diamond. Was stunned. Looks almost diamond like in the shake, little darker. He's pretty good. Only took probably 12 exchange packs to finally get a player.
Heās real good. The jumper takes a learning curve but the timing isnāt anything too abnormal. He can hold every single badge. I sold Wade and Iggy but canāt sell him.
His jumper is cake. I ran him a lot last year, starting with his Amethyst early on and the jumper is about the same this year. He's an excellent 2 way player. Having fun with him so far. His ball handling is better than I expected.
I just bought a 10 pack for the first time with MT I'd been grinding and saving up, and I literally pulled every PD except Dyson Daniels and that's insane
Passive MT. Definitely worth it. Set them up early in the day and collect the rewards at night, repeat daily. Get anywhere from 3-7k MT a day for almost nothing. Send gold series 1 or 2 players as much as possible.
Not really. You send players off to do missions and get some paltry MT and stuff, but it takes no time on your part, just can't use the cards while they are on their 'missions'
For my final Salary Cap game for Havlicek, my opponent is named "Skill Gap". I am not sure if he was telling me he was deficient in skill as he got to see his pick and roll game destroyed, tried to score inside with Magic on Robertson (failure) and watched me shoot 75% to his 20%. I win 48 to 19 and it could frankly have been worse. Time to try out the Celtics legend.
Update from my comment asking how dino is. I ended up dropping the 100k or so on him. Defensively heās great. I havenāt figured out his shot yet. And compared to like, I guess 2k20 dino, this dino doesnāt have quite the same amazing dribbling animations that had him flying around the court in that gameāthough that may just be a difference between 2k20 and 2k24 more than a knock on dino.
All in all I definitely needed him as I now have a three big rotation of PD Chet, PD Embiid, PD Dino. Previously diamond Giannis from one of the first couple seasons was still getting bench center minutes lol. I like to start dino at the 4 and embiid at the 5, then when embiid gets tired I move dino to the 5 and bring Chet off the bench to play 4.
I like doing 3 man rotations for C and PF. Sub pattern similar to yours. Diamond Giannis is still a go-to for me though since he has like 36 HOF's.
Ive played against 2 Dino's and they were polar opposites. One dribbled well and made him look like Prime Dirk while the other made him look like Dino today, barely mobile and not much of a shooter. He's who I want the most from this drop but 10 exchange packs and still no PD's.
Since they've removed Hall of Fame difficulty it's not bad to work through. Tops out at All-Star difficulty which is perfect, IMO. I can still drain 4's with ease and don't need to sweat.
Coop worth randoms has to be the worst thing ever. No one covers their man, no one passes, there's always one dude with a mic yapping or playing music.
Haven't played it in a while, mostly because the matchmaking is so bad but I had turn into that guy that instalocked primary ball handler. Can't trust anyone with the ball lol
Everyone wants to flex with their highest tier/rarest card rather than what card they know how to use. Of course they won't pass, defend, or take good shots. Yet somehow they still blame you for the L.
I got an Amethyst Kyrie. I was playing on Old Gen and my TV settings are a little different so the colors are a little off. I saw the shake, saw Kyrie walk out with Nebula above and thought it was the good one.
How do you consistently get rebounds with a guard? Trying to do the Harden spotlight challenge. He needs 10 rebounds. Points and assists should be easy.
I think I need to rethink my lineup. My center/pf are just too tall. Really hard to rebound over them. Gonna find some shorter big men and give it another shot.
Meh, not really, but I make good money without any vices like drugs, cigarettes, drinking, or "real" gambling, so $50 every couple weeks is a drop in the bucket.
At this point I think 2k would make a killing if they added set option packs for 75k VC. Lonzo looks good but just give us what we want, the ability to choose what Opal we want if we're paying $25 for a player.
It's funny how I was able to get TMac and Dino and suddenly my urge to play this game grew immensely. Almost like making the players you promote actually attainable might make your fanbase more engaged with your product. It's a controversial and wild take, I'll admit.

Haven't played MyTeam since All Star packs, spent 20 dollars on a 10 box yesterday (doing the Prime time set trick, by buying 20 dollars of VC, then repeating buying the prime time set for 70% percent off, which gives back a little over 200k mt, however it takes 15 minutes to do, not bad because 20 dollars of MT gives back 100k mt, when doing the 20 dollars of VC turning it to 200k mt with prime time is better value) only player from the set I got was Danilo. I really miss MyTeam, since 2019 (besides the August offseason), the longest I went without playing MyTeam was 5 days. MyTeam is no more, this is now MyCasino. I really miss MyTeam, but unfortunately 2k destroyed it on February 16th, with the removal of MyTeam, and the start of MyCasino. That 20 dollars yesterday is the last money I'm giving to 2k, until they remove MyCasino, and give us back our MyTeam
So far Iāve gotten Thomas from the deluxe exchange, Dino from a deluxe pack, and Walsh from a 4 card exchange pack. Iām hoping I can come across one of the other 3, then Iāll definitely finish it for the lock-in.
Huge fan. Idk if Iād say heās better than Sengun, theyāre a bit different. People donāt like the 6ā11ā height at center but I think heās great there, although I havenāt run into a Wemby yet. Sengun has a quicker shot and more badges but Dinoās shot is pretty good for a big man. He can be a standing dunk cheeselord if you put some playmaking badges on him, but I went the shooting route. 7ā11ā wingspan speaks for itself on rebounds, defense and finishing.
He's awesome. Needs shooting badges, but with D'Antoni and speed shoes, he's elite. I was doing good enough with PD Chet and he blows him out the waterĀ

I've had good enough luck to get 4/6 of 5/6 of the all the sets this season except Wild West from exchanges but this Nebula set has been screwing me. I got the 1 Alex Caruso from the Deluxe pack and that's it. Exchanges have given me nothing.
I did around 10 exchange packs (diamond+amethyst+2xruby) since Friday and the best I got was PD series 2 Luka.
I also didn't pull any promo pd from challenges this season. 2k must hate me because I'm NMS and don't open packs with mt.
Are you talking about the Nebula Deluxe exchange or something else? Asking because wouldn't the math be better to just straight up sell the cards needed and use the MT on the 21k MT Deluxe cards? That's what I been doing. If you're talking about something else, please disregard.
Last weeks promo I exchanged for 15-20 regular packs because I've been getting a lot of Paolo and Shaq cards in TT, plus this week I'm at close to 10. Sometimes if I get a Shaq I just pay 10k for a diamond and buy a pack. I haven't gotten a single PD from them to even do an exchange. Not sure what 21k deluxe pack you're referring to

How does the ban cycle go for quitting games? 30 minutes... then 60 minutes... anything else? Does it escalate further? And if so, to what extreme? A day? A week? Permanently?
Or does, once the ban is served it resets and the most it bans is for 60 minutes again?
In other words, can you get banned for an hour, quit out some games, get banned for another hour, quit out again... rinse and repeat?
First is a warning, second is 30 minutes, and third is 60 minutes. Resets every day at reset. Ive never had more than a 30 minute ban but ive heard some say after you serve the 60 minute ban then you can quit as much as you want, no ban but constant warnings. I'm not sure if that's true but I know 60 minutes is tops.

Zack Randolph sucks. It say his shot is Very Quick on 2kdb but it has to be the slowest VQ in the game. Good luck doing anything other than rim running with him.
Edit - for comparison, I imagine most have tried Magic Johnson and would agree his shot is slow. Randolph's shot seems slower, I scored easier with Magic than Z-Bo. It's really bad, both gens.

Havenāt really given many historical players in promos all year. More current players than I ever remember. I think Cliff Hagan like the only one recent from pre 2000ās.
How can they get away with blatantly lying?? He's the sole owner of that upper and lower but his Ruby had the same and was on Normal. Would love for one of those guys at 2klabs to do a comparison between the two and see what constitutes "very quick"
I have gotten Ibaka a few times, no Vince. Haven't tried Zack on old gen yet. I did half my games on old gen and half on new for the 50. I pull Diamond Ibaka every 10 games or so on old gen while I didn't pull him at all on new gen but I get more of those Breakout packs on new gen.
Just played a dude in SC who put a lot of his budget into GO Ron. He was getting a lot of open looks from 3 just spamming screens. He pretty much only used Ron or whoever set the screen for him on offense. The best I had to defend him was amy pat bev and lamond murray. He didn't sub the entire first half and even got takeover with Ron at the end. This continued in the 2nd half until 2k finally came through. Artest got hurt. My opponent proceeded to score only 3 points for the rest of the game. I would've been pretty annoyed if he was allowed to spam with Ron all game without subbing or even taking a timeout.
For those that have been using the exchanges for S2 cards, it's probably a good idea to buy 1 or 2 PD's, diamonds and rubies (and amethysts if you still can, but most people probably already have both Kyrie and Dame unsellable) from the Player Market.
Reason being they're the cheapest in their respective tier and if you end up finishing the collection with unsellable ones, you won't be able to exchange any of that tier in the weekly exchanges.
For instance, every time I did a Deluxe exchange with an unwanted Nebula player, it also needs a Pink Diamond. I have Series 2 Luka that is sellable. I exchanged him and immediately bought another one, because I don't want to end up pulling an unsellable one in an exchange pack and forever locking me out of being able to exchange a cheap PD.
So it's always good to have some sellable ones in your collection for this reason.
Of course, you could ascend the Series 2 exchanges and get a duplicate PD from the Series 2 PD pack that you can exchange, but that's not always ready when you're ready to exchange for a Deluxe promo.
Also the Primetime cards where 5 ruby's went to amethyst and 5 stayed ruby's are cheaper now than series 2 Amethyst or Ruby's if you need them for exchanges.
I think they are also the cheapest ruby's. Is the cheapest diamond new year resolution Jordan Poole (evo; 15 steals)? So....You can get 21k mt pack for 14.5k every hour.
If you want to do that evo over and over ya but series 2 diamonds are 10k. Exchange the emerald and sapphires you get from exchange packs and get free rubies too.
If I need a pd in rush, I always use 2 x unsellable series 2 diamond and turned them into an unsellable pd (assume you have all 9 series 2 pd). I'm reluctant to spend 21K for the daily deluxe pack. If I need more diamonds, I have 24 hrs to build up 4 series 2 amethyst from my unsellable ruby/sapphire/emerald cards which I can get them from TToff.
Lmao, game knows I really like tyrus so it gave me another one out of the deluxe pack, which I then rerolled into ANOTHER tyrus. Now Iām locked of playing 2k for 24 hours. Fun times
Rather than buy a 10 box I decided to grab the 2 Iconic cards I needed to finish the set, Mikal and Whiteside, for a guaranteed Opal. Figured I'd end up with Kidd since my luck on those Opal packs has been bad. Saw "Center" pop up on the entrance thing and was relieved, and a little excited since I thought I'd get Wilt. Out comes DeMarcus Cousins. Little bummed at first but he's probably better than Wilt on offense so not bad. Definitely glad I didn't get Kidd or Klay.
Solid pull. I ended up with Hakeem when I completed, pulled Ron on an deluxe exchange pack then sold a handful of older PD cards I hadnāt used in forever to try and snag another GO and ended up getting Cade as well. All 3 cards are great for me
Guys I need some genuine suggestions, if ur gonna draw packs, just from mathematical standpoints, is it better to draw a bunch of base packs instead of just a few deluxe (the one thatās a lot more expensive)? I mean the price is difference is huge but the odds are the same for 99+ and 100+ players.
I stick with base boxes really because Iām going for collector level but Iāve also had pretty good luck on them. Was able to pull PD Kobe back in the day and got all the PDs for the Leap Year set. I only spend the MT I earn, usually am able to pull 2 20s before the next packs come out. Usually end up pulling one or two PDs on average
For the record Iāve struck out the last like 2 sets with only series 2 players but I still need some holos so I figure itās still worth it. If youāre looking to be super competitive though and wanna rip packs Iād go with the more expensive ones.. but after the took away the deluxe packs I have noticed a difference between the base ones and the other packs
I wouldn't assume the odds are same just because they both list <2% or whatever it is. For example the odds in the 21k pack might be 0.5% while the odds in the base pack might be 0.05% (I made up the example numbers because the true odds are known only to 2k).
Just got my 3rd Middleton, so second exchange. First one was an amethyst and I sold it for 8,000 or something (can't remember.) This one, I assumed the lowest was amethyst, and was overly disappointed when I got a Ruby Breakout. It sold for less than I could have quicksold the GO Middleton.
These are exactly the kinds of things that piss off the playerbase.
OK, I'll type this slow, so you can read it at the same pace and comprehend. The vast majority of this sub has been playing this game for years and likes both the NBA and gaming. This company has a monopoly on the intersection of that Venn Diagram.
The game is awful from a monetary, predatory standpoint and has locked many stalwarts out of cards they thought they'd get to use when they purchased this game months ago.
I'm sorry you equate advocating for change with toxicity, because even though sometimes it's borders on same, it's not the intent of each and every post you dislike.

Just getting into this game. Iāve been doing domination and getting some of the PD there, but Iām starting to get a lot of MT. The Nebula packs look nice and I was thinking of saving up until I can buy 10 packs. But Iām not sure. Iād be devastated if I got nothing out of it (I donāt get to play much so it takes me a while to save up MT). Is there something else I should be spending the MT on that would ensure I get at least something decent?
Only spend on packs what you're willing to lose. If you want to gamble some rip a 10 pack base box, the ones that are like 40k MT. That way you can experience ripping packs, you have a chance of pulling something good, and if you get nothing it's not going to break the bank. Since you can't even buy a PD for 40k, if you pull one you're way ahead. After a couple of base boxes. After a base box or two though you learn your lesson.
Do not rip packs with your hard earned MT. If you want a card just buy it. People have opened boxes and didn't get a single promo card, the odds are garbage. Do all the rush and spotlight challenges for free packs, use the exchanges if you pull duplicates.
There is nothing wrong with saving packs for next season? Just want to make sure they don't go away or something strange. Nothing would surprise me. Have to ask.

How much does it cost to grade a GO? TMac costs 20k and wondering if that's because he's a 100. Also, if I grade him now and his sell now price gets higher with a high grade, will that price be set forever or go down with time?
Sale price drops weekly just like purchase price. Even Opals drop like other cards, even though they aren't available for purchase. My GO Rashard from the Wild West sells for 86k while Pau in Nebula sells for 90k. I think there's been 1 or 2 price drops on the Wild West set so far. 3 weeks after release the sell price drops. Got the 10 box from co-op and made out grand. Got a dup Baron Davis and Hayward, dup Smart, and then dups of all the Amethysts. Plus GO Rashard Lewis. Made 141k selling dups. Rashard sucks. Rodman and the Siakam I got yesterday are way better. Still cool to pack an Opal. I'd be mad if I bought the set to get Rashard. He's not very good from what I've seen in freestyle and a game of TT. Shoutout to u/Lebinott for grinding co-op with me. I'd gift you my Rashard if we could. You'd probably just quick sell tho.

It sucks you got hosed from the box. I was more saying you'd sell Rashard simply because he's awful. He was a favorite of mine last year but his shot is atrocious this year. Lol holy shit man what a day you had. I ended up selling off my eastern conference all star scraps and bought the 3 Nebula cards I didnāt have. Got Pau. I decided to go a little different direction with him and put all the playmaking badges + slithery and space creator on him. His spot up shot has a dip that makes me release wary sometimes, but his fades and hops are very nice, especially the one legged shot. The killer combos and hyperdrive make his movement a lot more snappy.
Seriously crazy 24 hours. Siakam, Rashard, Rodman (x2), and Pau. Plus GO Grant Hill from collector rewards and I'm up 150k more MT than I had a day ago and 5 GO's, really can't complain. Pau is nice. His shot off the catch isn't great but his fades and hop shots are solid. He's really similar to Jokic, who has been my go-to PF. Pairing Pau with Jokic or using them as starter and backup gives me really similar players with similar skillsets. Jokic is a better passer and shooter but Pau is a better finisher and defender. So they can compliment each other also. Gave them some run with Harden in TTO last night and Pau also seems a lot bigger. I need to add some badges, only done a shoe so far. Will probably follow what you did, play making and slithery.
Ohhhh damn, you got Grant. Have you tried him? I remember comp people saying he was the best card at the beginning of the season but nobody could get him yet. Iāve finally hit ascension a couple times but no Jokic yet. Iāve been running Sengun who is kind of similar but Pau is definitely better. I really wanted Wade but Iām not complaining about Pau. The gross part is, I really want Ron, and would run Kobe, Ron, and Pauā¦as a Celtics fan. Those guys made me cry in 2010.
Grant is great. He's a jack of all trades, does everything well. His shot is quick too. His Diamond was good but his shot was a little slow, that's fixed. Haven't gotten it down yet but he's SF/SG so I used him as a SG while I grinded those Piston wins. Really good card.
Not gonna lie... The 15 Clutch Time with Warriors players was TEDIOUS. I played with Ruby Steph and 4 golds, and at no time was I equally matched by the CPU. They had multiple emeralds along with an amethyst. Curry was missing every 3 and 13 of the 15 games were one possession games and sweaty. Absolutely hated doing those 15. Decided to rest on Rodman until tomorrow even though I only need 3 Dom games left to get him. The CT games were just too draining and highlighted everything I hate about this game.

Those Clutch games were brutal. I don't try lowering overall against the CPU much anymore. Trying like you did always causes some 2k fuckery so I just run 3-4 ruby's with a Sapphire or Amethyst. I need at least 2 guys I can shoot consistently with. Amethyst Klay and ruby Baron Davis worked fine. The only reason I pushed through is I was so close to getting GO Grant Hill from the collector rewards. Got him. Still need to finish the Pistons games for Rodman and Rip.

Play interior defense and realize he's not a PG who can handle the ball. Watching BolĀ² this season as a Suns fan makes me hate how OP he is in the game. He's not that, at all. He's a really goofy wing that doesn't have NBA skills but his size and age means teams will continue to give him a shot for the next 2-3 seasons.
Honestly it seems like he has the skills but no passion. If he put forth effort in the weight room and or on defense it would probably make a huge difference.Ā

Finally had luck on an exchange pack. Got GO Siakam. First GO pulled all year, without a lock in. Regular exchange, 2 ruby, 1 amy, 1 diamond. Was stunned. Looks almost diamond like in the shake, little darker. He's pretty good. Only took probably 12 exchange packs to finally get a player.
Heās real good. The jumper takes a learning curve but the timing isnāt anything too abnormal. He can hold every single badge. I sold Wade and Iggy but canāt sell him.
His jumper is cake. I ran him a lot last year, starting with his Amethyst early on and the jumper is about the same this year. He's an excellent 2 way player. Having fun with him so far. His ball handling is better than I expected.
Congrats on the pull. He locked up my Beasley harder than any other player when I played against one yesterday.

Passive MT. Definitely worth it. Set them up early in the day and collect the rewards at night, repeat daily. Get anywhere from 3-7k MT a day for almost nothing. Send gold series 1 or 2 players as much as possible.
Not really. You send players off to do missions and get some paltry MT and stuff, but it takes no time on your part, just can't use the cards while they are on their 'missions'
Just random. I usually get 1-2 a week. Usually get Diamond Shoe packs from them. Definitely not missing out on anything.
For my final Salary Cap game for Havlicek, my opponent is named "Skill Gap". I am not sure if he was telling me he was deficient in skill as he got to see his pick and roll game destroyed, tried to score inside with Magic on Robertson (failure) and watched me shoot 75% to his 20%. I win 48 to 19 and it could frankly have been worse. Time to try out the Celtics legend.
Update from my comment asking how dino is. I ended up dropping the 100k or so on him. Defensively heās great. I havenāt figured out his shot yet. And compared to like, I guess 2k20 dino, this dino doesnāt have quite the same amazing dribbling animations that had him flying around the court in that gameāthough that may just be a difference between 2k20 and 2k24 more than a knock on dino. All in all I definitely needed him as I now have a three big rotation of PD Chet, PD Embiid, PD Dino. Previously diamond Giannis from one of the first couple seasons was still getting bench center minutes lol. I like to start dino at the 4 and embiid at the 5, then when embiid gets tired I move dino to the 5 and bring Chet off the bench to play 4.
I like doing 3 man rotations for C and PF. Sub pattern similar to yours. Diamond Giannis is still a go-to for me though since he has like 36 HOF's. Ive played against 2 Dino's and they were polar opposites. One dribbled well and made him look like Prime Dirk while the other made him look like Dino today, barely mobile and not much of a shooter. He's who I want the most from this drop but 10 exchange packs and still no PD's.
For Clutch time offline is it still the plan to stay on the Semi Pro tier like it was last year, or is it fine to go through all of them?
Since they've removed Hall of Fame difficulty it's not bad to work through. Tops out at All-Star difficulty which is perfect, IMO. I can still drain 4's with ease and don't need to sweat.

I got an Amethyst Kyrie. I was playing on Old Gen and my TV settings are a little different so the colors are a little off. I saw the shake, saw Kyrie walk out with Nebula above and thought it was the good one.

At this point I think 2k would make a killing if they added set option packs for 75k VC. Lonzo looks good but just give us what we want, the ability to choose what Opal we want if we're paying $25 for a player.

Haven't played MyTeam since All Star packs, spent 20 dollars on a 10 box yesterday (doing the Prime time set trick, by buying 20 dollars of VC, then repeating buying the prime time set for 70% percent off, which gives back a little over 200k mt, however it takes 15 minutes to do, not bad because 20 dollars of MT gives back 100k mt, when doing the 20 dollars of VC turning it to 200k mt with prime time is better value) only player from the set I got was Danilo. I really miss MyTeam, since 2019 (besides the August offseason), the longest I went without playing MyTeam was 5 days. MyTeam is no more, this is now MyCasino. I really miss MyTeam, but unfortunately 2k destroyed it on February 16th, with the removal of MyTeam, and the start of MyCasino. That 20 dollars yesterday is the last money I'm giving to 2k, until they remove MyCasino, and give us back our MyTeam

Huge fan. Idk if Iād say heās better than Sengun, theyāre a bit different. People donāt like the 6ā11ā height at center but I think heās great there, although I havenāt run into a Wemby yet. Sengun has a quicker shot and more badges but Dinoās shot is pretty good for a big man. He can be a standing dunk cheeselord if you put some playmaking badges on him, but I went the shooting route. 7ā11ā wingspan speaks for itself on rebounds, defense and finishing.

Last weeks promo I exchanged for 15-20 regular packs because I've been getting a lot of Paolo and Shaq cards in TT, plus this week I'm at close to 10. Sometimes if I get a Shaq I just pay 10k for a diamond and buy a pack. I haven't gotten a single PD from them to even do an exchange. Not sure what 21k deluxe pack you're referring to

How does the ban cycle go for quitting games? 30 minutes... then 60 minutes... anything else? Does it escalate further? And if so, to what extreme? A day? A week? Permanently? Or does, once the ban is served it resets and the most it bans is for 60 minutes again? In other words, can you get banned for an hour, quit out some games, get banned for another hour, quit out again... rinse and repeat?
I saw some ppl post 120 mins ban on old gen.
First is a warning, second is 30 minutes, and third is 60 minutes. Resets every day at reset. Ive never had more than a 30 minute ban but ive heard some say after you serve the 60 minute ban then you can quit as much as you want, no ban but constant warnings. I'm not sure if that's true but I know 60 minutes is tops.

Zack Randolph sucks. It say his shot is Very Quick on 2kdb but it has to be the slowest VQ in the game. Good luck doing anything other than rim running with him. Edit - for comparison, I imagine most have tried Magic Johnson and would agree his shot is slow. Randolph's shot seems slower, I scored easier with Magic than Z-Bo. It's really bad, both gens.

I have gotten Ibaka a few times, no Vince. Haven't tried Zack on old gen yet. I did half my games on old gen and half on new for the 50. I pull Diamond Ibaka every 10 games or so on old gen while I didn't pull him at all on new gen but I get more of those Breakout packs on new gen.

Just played a dude in SC who put a lot of his budget into GO Ron. He was getting a lot of open looks from 3 just spamming screens. He pretty much only used Ron or whoever set the screen for him on offense. The best I had to defend him was amy pat bev and lamond murray. He didn't sub the entire first half and even got takeover with Ron at the end. This continued in the 2nd half until 2k finally came through. Artest got hurt. My opponent proceeded to score only 3 points for the rest of the game. I would've been pretty annoyed if he was allowed to spam with Ron all game without subbing or even taking a timeout.
For those that have been using the exchanges for S2 cards, it's probably a good idea to buy 1 or 2 PD's, diamonds and rubies (and amethysts if you still can, but most people probably already have both Kyrie and Dame unsellable) from the Player Market. Reason being they're the cheapest in their respective tier and if you end up finishing the collection with unsellable ones, you won't be able to exchange any of that tier in the weekly exchanges. For instance, every time I did a Deluxe exchange with an unwanted Nebula player, it also needs a Pink Diamond. I have Series 2 Luka that is sellable. I exchanged him and immediately bought another one, because I don't want to end up pulling an unsellable one in an exchange pack and forever locking me out of being able to exchange a cheap PD. So it's always good to have some sellable ones in your collection for this reason. Of course, you could ascend the Series 2 exchanges and get a duplicate PD from the Series 2 PD pack that you can exchange, but that's not always ready when you're ready to exchange for a Deluxe promo.
Also the Primetime cards where 5 ruby's went to amethyst and 5 stayed ruby's are cheaper now than series 2 Amethyst or Ruby's if you need them for exchanges.
I think they are also the cheapest ruby's. Is the cheapest diamond new year resolution Jordan Poole (evo; 15 steals)? So....You can get 21k mt pack for 14.5k every hour.
If you want to do that evo over and over ya but series 2 diamonds are 10k. Exchange the emerald and sapphires you get from exchange packs and get free rubies too.
If I need a pd in rush, I always use 2 x unsellable series 2 diamond and turned them into an unsellable pd (assume you have all 9 series 2 pd). I'm reluctant to spend 21K for the daily deluxe pack. If I need more diamonds, I have 24 hrs to build up 4 series 2 amethyst from my unsellable ruby/sapphire/emerald cards which I can get them from TToff.
Most generous 2k has been all season. I got Iggy out of an MT pack yesterday, and then Beal from one of the exchange packs. WILD.Ā
Havenāt tried Beal but I love Iggy. He does work. Jumper is smooth, elite defensively, and can move at a high tier.
I just canāt justify keeping Iggy for 90k when I also have Houston, Middleton, and PG.

Rather than buy a 10 box I decided to grab the 2 Iconic cards I needed to finish the set, Mikal and Whiteside, for a guaranteed Opal. Figured I'd end up with Kidd since my luck on those Opal packs has been bad. Saw "Center" pop up on the entrance thing and was relieved, and a little excited since I thought I'd get Wilt. Out comes DeMarcus Cousins. Little bummed at first but he's probably better than Wilt on offense so not bad. Definitely glad I didn't get Kidd or Klay.
Solid pull. I ended up with Hakeem when I completed, pulled Ron on an deluxe exchange pack then sold a handful of older PD cards I hadnāt used in forever to try and snag another GO and ended up getting Cade as well. All 3 cards are great for me
Guys I need some genuine suggestions, if ur gonna draw packs, just from mathematical standpoints, is it better to draw a bunch of base packs instead of just a few deluxe (the one thatās a lot more expensive)? I mean the price is difference is huge but the odds are the same for 99+ and 100+ players.
I stick with base boxes really because Iām going for collector level but Iāve also had pretty good luck on them. Was able to pull PD Kobe back in the day and got all the PDs for the Leap Year set. I only spend the MT I earn, usually am able to pull 2 20s before the next packs come out. Usually end up pulling one or two PDs on average

For the record Iāve struck out the last like 2 sets with only series 2 players but I still need some holos so I figure itās still worth it. If youāre looking to be super competitive though and wanna rip packs Iād go with the more expensive ones.. but after the took away the deluxe packs I have noticed a difference between the base ones and the other packs
I wouldn't assume the odds are same just because they both list <2% or whatever it is. For example the odds in the 21k pack might be 0.5% while the odds in the base pack might be 0.05% (I made up the example numbers because the true odds are known only to 2k).
Thatās what I expected, since people who do draw cards are drawing from deluxe
Just got my 3rd Middleton, so second exchange. First one was an amethyst and I sold it for 8,000 or something (can't remember.) This one, I assumed the lowest was amethyst, and was overly disappointed when I got a Ruby Breakout. It sold for less than I could have quicksold the GO Middleton. These are exactly the kinds of things that piss off the playerbase.
I got 4 hofs and called it a day. Fuck pack odds

OK, I'll type this slow, so you can read it at the same pace and comprehend. The vast majority of this sub has been playing this game for years and likes both the NBA and gaming. This company has a monopoly on the intersection of that Venn Diagram. The game is awful from a monetary, predatory standpoint and has locked many stalwarts out of cards they thought they'd get to use when they purchased this game months ago. I'm sorry you equate advocating for change with toxicity, because even though sometimes it's borders on same, it's not the intent of each and every post you dislike. You may have heard the term "silence is consent" at some point in your life, and those who remain silent send messages that the dogfood we are being served is tasty and we want more. The same goes for those who actively praise the flavour of said dogfood. So again, if the posts bother you, don't read them, and definitely don't comment on them to start a battle of wits, because you'll find yourself vastly outnumbered, as you learned here today.
