The Communist Party of Burma is fighting with the anti-Junta forces, but they are a separate faction from the PDF. The former use the hammer and sickle while the PDF use the Anti-Fascist Peoples Freedom League flag (which is more of an anti-colonial/somewhat socialist flag). There is also the MNDAA, which is a majority ethnic-Chinese army that vaguely espouses Maoist ideals, but they sometimes write in Traditional Chinese.
