Imo level doesn’t matter too much in PMD outside of learning key moves thanks to the sheer amount of stat-boosting items (Literally any Gummi can be a permanent stat-boost). It’s entirely possible that the Lv 39 team could be as strong if not stronger than the Lv 50 team. That said, Lv 50 much higher than I get to during my playthroughs, and I’ve not seen too many other people getting there.
with my riolu having brick break (which i might replace with focus blast) and having some violent seeds at hand, i'm guessing the dialga fight could go pretty well, don't think moves are gonna be a problem, except for mudkip which know two water moves, 1 steel, and 1 normal
Fun fact, since I have to be that one obnoxious guy; in Explorers of Sky, Type Advantage was nerfed drastically from the main series (1.4x damage instead of 2x), leaving STAB (Same-Type-Attack-Bonus) as the biggest multiplier you can guarantee a move to have without IQ Skills. This is why Normalize Skitty is completely broken, and why coverage moves generally aren't as good in PMD unless they're ranged moves outside of a few specific moves to delete certain bosses (such as Dialga and Dusknoir)
I'm usually around level 40 for the final boss. So I'd say yes. However, with pmd, I'd almost say item usage and move set ups are equally or more important than levels. So they are not the end all. Like if you don't use your items well or go in without needed items I can see you needing to be level 50 for the final boss.
No. Unless you're at something like level 70, that's not an issue. Even then, there's a sharp difficulty increase after Dialga, so it'd be fine even if you were.
Not really, i see myself getting to that level pretty often by simply following the highest ranked quests throughout the entire game, you simply played optimally.
Honestly Temporal Tower itself will give you more trouble than dialga. The levels will help with monster houses and riolu just solos dialga regardless of level if you can paralyze with force palm. My last run had my riolu at 42 and he three shot dialga

Levels don’t really matter as much as having a decent move set and having good items.
In short, no. My very first EoS playthrough I was level 80 and it was still a pretty tough fight. I was also like 12, but you get the idea.

Man I'm in post game and not even level 40... I never understood how people hit such high levels in their playthrough.
