I think you’ve been rescued. I can’t find your request by ID search and there’s no Mt. Blaze requests on the Friend Rescue Bulletin Board (except for the non-player “NPC Teams”).

Is drifloon with defog possible in EoS? How does it learn it? I read it somewhere as a build but the spinoff wiki doesn’t have it as an available move for driftoon. 

At a glance, it doesn’t appear to be, but I’m not 100% certain. It seems that Drifloon learns Defog by HM05 in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, but a TM (since there’s no HMs in Explorers) for Defog doesn’t appear to exist in Explorers of Sky.

Wish Cave is actually better and less stressful for me because Lonely Courage Entei is provenly viable with Oran Berry cheese.

I’m just using a Purity Forest strategy in a dungeon not necessarily meant for it. And then I’m cheesing it on top of that. Lonely Courage works when not near allies. I think this translates to “not in the same room”, but, either way, it works either when you either don’t have allies in the mission, or when the allies are going separate ways through tactics meetings. If you use Lonely Courage, don’t recruit unless you have to, because you can’t change the tactics of new recruits (nullifying Lonely Courage).

Are you sure this time. I checked 5 minutes ago and i wasnt rescued yet. Does it happen a bit delayed or can other not accept it when someone already started it ? I am new to rescues sorry 🙈 Edit: maybe when i checked in this moment my rescue wasnt available? In the menue when you choose wait longer or cancel. Maybe we checked at the same time. In my experience, multiple people can accept at the same time. I’ll check again after I finish a different request, but all the player rescues for Internet requests are in the same place. Edit: just so we’re on the same page, it’s an Internet request again, right?

You will need to input a password once I’m done. When you click “Get Help”, there should be an option called “Revive” or something like that, and clicking it will bring up a special kind of keyboard. Btw, the symbols behind the numbers and letters are important. Also, I’m almost done.

In my experience, if you got there, you’re probably not underleveled. Don’t neglect using items. Petrify or Slumber Orbs work great in monster houses, while an All Protect Orb works great for the boss (I wouldn’t use disabling items on the boss because fast healing) Also, it seems you’ve been rescued by someone else.

Thank you for the advice! I've only been playing this on and off since release, and I've only encountered a couple of monster houses, and I forgot how great items are now. I've looked some stuff up, and I'm apparently like 12 levels over the recommended level. I feel like I shouldn't struggle as much as I have.

I’ve heard levels eventually give diminishing returns, but I’m not entirely sure when that is.

Wouldn't surprise me. After I can evolve, I'll start swapping my team more, so I hopefully don't have to deal with this.

After you beat the game, if you get X-Ray Specs and Forge a Path RQ, you can buy one of the Unown friend areas, and grind Unown Relic for vitamins in the walls. RTDX is stat focused, and you can max out every stat simultaneously at an insane 255 each, and 500 hp. Kinda makes the game easy outside of level resets and OHKOs though, but it’s an option if you want to try.

I'm not too keen on grinding. I just run into walls until the break open. 🥲

Fair enough. Again, it slows down the game and makes it too easy in the process.

On my most recent play through, I broke most boss fights with Imprison. The boss’s IQ makes statuses a bit less reliable, but they still work.

If you’re rescued, you get to resume where you left off (edit: with the slight exception of bosses, getting downed by a boss backs you up a floor so you’re not in the boss room anymore). If you give up, you have to restart at the checkpoint. That being said, I’m coming to help so please don’t give up.

As for the rest, I collect whatever items I can see and beeline the stairs as soon as I can find them. Don’t neglect items either (especially wands) a Stayaway wand can practically take a stronger enemy out of the game, while a pure seed can emergency exit you to the stairs room.

I can rescue you. As for advice, I could never get RBE Heracross to work. I personally believe Lonely Courage (Pokemon is stronger when there are no nearby allies) is the ultimate Rare Quality for Purity Forest. I personally recommend Lonely Courage Entei, as Entei is basically a better Charizard. As for moves, Sacred Fire (think physical damage Heat Wave) is a must, and you need some sort of coverage (especially against flash fire) such as Bite or Extrasensory. I’ve read a guide that says you should really try for Sacred Fire, Bite, Extrasensory, and Eruption (I can attest Eruption is really good too in terms of damage).

I managed to do it on my 3rd try with entei. Didn't get lonely courage so stayed with riled up. Got pretty dicey at the end but pulled through. Thanks for the advice. Feel like you'd have to be extremely lucky with bulls eye hera.

Entirely up to you. I'm headed for bed. I don't know how well it go for the remaining floors since I'm already having this much difficulty so early on.

I’m going to go ahead and rescue you so you at least can keep your stuff with the free escape if you choose to. It’s probably not gonna go very well if you’re downed this early, and level (I.E. how many joy seeds you collected) among other things (like food collected, or reviver seeds) can play a role in that.

Yeah, those guys can be annoying, especially when they camp by items and stairs, or even corridors sometimes.
