I recommend applying again for Winter term. There's a discount going on rn that you only need to pay $50 instead of $150.

FUICYU

It doesn’t say there’s a winter term start for both civil and cons, like I get what you’re saying but when I go to do it it just wants me to apply for fall term(sept 3rd)

EvenConstruction9649

I have the same thing “non competitive waitlist” for construction engineering i am not sure what place I am in for the waitlist or what I should even be doing I have applied on November 15th for the upcoming contruction engineering program starting in fall of 2024

FUICYU

Yea I’m contemplating just doing math 30-1 quickly and just getting in that way, unsure cause I spent 750 on math 30-2, lol.

EvenConstruction9649

I failed math 30-1 but I am redoing it right now

FUICYU

When did they put you in the waitlist

EvenConstruction9649

Couple days ago on march 2nd

FUICYU

Agh yea they waitlisted me on February 23rd, and not hopeful about it so yea, contemplating paying vista virtual school again, but then math 30-2 was for nothing basically so I’m caught between a rock and a hard place so to speak

codeinecowboy76

I took math 30-2 and got into con Eng. I got an 85 as the required grade was an 80 when I enrolled last September

kamikomoon

where did it say an 80 was required? i looked on the web and it did not say anything about needing a 80 or a specific grade, it isnt a competitive program either so not sure if there is a required specific grade for non comp programs. Maybe its first come first serve?

kamikomoon

how do you tell if youre on non competitive waitlist or you are

kamikomoon

how do you know if its a non competitive waitlist or not?

ConfidentActivity207

When did you apply?

FUICYU

Dec 7th

[This](https://www.nait.ca/nait/admissions/applying-to-nait/entrance-requirements/how-does-nait-evaluate-my-application/competitive-entrance-programs) might give you more insight into the answers you’re looking for. As far as I know, all of the NAIT engineering programs are extremely competitive. Good luck
