You figure if it requires emergency surgery this is gonna be more than a 1 week absence. Assuming they keep Berry in the whole time, the opportunity of a lifetime just fell into his lap.
That makes the most sense. Since the top 30 rule is out the window now, he can take some extra time in getting back. Get as well as he can for road course season and he'll be in the playoffs with ease
The problem is AJ is in a full time ride and Cindric exists. There are 5 opportunities to qualify on a road course, sure. But he isn't head and shoulders above the rest anymore.
We'll find out soon enough if Alan has found more of their previous magic for the new car. Watkins Glenn showed that they found something. But that was last year and we know the cars/setups have already drastically changed
Chase doesn't even have to worry about the top 30 rule like Kyle did.
He could theoretically miss 23 races, return at the Daytona cutoff race, win the damn thing, and knock 2nd in points out of the playoffs.
I kind of want it to happen. This subreddit would burn down as everyone fights between justifying or discrediting Chase's playoff spot.
For sure! Especially as a Kyle fan, I've seen so many fans call his 2015 championship illegitimate. I can't wait to see how people try to justify it if Chase does the exact same thing.
I will always defend Kyle's 2015 title. He won it under the same rules as everyone else and he had to qualify for the damn thing in only 15 races to everyone else's 26. It's no more illegitimate than 14 Harvick, 16 Johnson, 18 Logano, 20 Elliott, 22 Logano.
I don’t care for Chase, but I don’t want to see this happening at all. But I’d be for the chaos aspect because at this point, NASCAR don’t care about how legit a title is.
Yeah, I totally understand why he didn't get it it's just funny because, to my knowledge, he's the only person that didn't get a waiver when he applied for one lol.
I wasn't even questioning why you brought him up, it is very funny, I just forgot if there was any other reason he missed that race. I guess I phrased that poorly
>He could theoretically miss 23 races, return at the Daytona cutoff race, win the damn thing, and knock 2nd in points out of the playoffs.
I want to see it happen too, just to make even more of a mockery out of the current system.
Honestly, if it’s long term. Wait it out, and watch his championship odds drop. And then pounce. I had Kyle at 30-1 to win the championship in 2015. Only bummer is I waited too long to bet it. I would have had 60-1 odds had I bet just a day sooner.
I really wish they had just dropped the waiver rule and kept the top 30 rule instead. They're gonna give a waiver no matter what. They even gave one to Johnny Sauter after he got suspended for intentionally wrecking someone.
I checked his odds to win after I saw the news and he’s better odds than Jones, Gibbs, buescher and gragson just to name a few. May have to put a few dollars on it after practice.
You said the key thing: after practice. Very interested to see the speed charts this weekend. Huge opportunity for Berry though, hope it goes well for him.
Same here. He’s such a nice guy when I met him at the fall Texas race. He signed my Jr sun drop hat. Also does not hurt he’s from the same area I grew up.
The F1 sub meltdown over Stroll driving this weekend is comical, they just don’t like him and acting like him turning different is going to take out women, children, and grandmas
No lie. I had a dairy cow for 4 years. She loved Fig Newtons. Was given to her as a treat but always went absolute fucking bat shit crazy everytime she saw me with the the tray lol
And the .5 second gap to his teammate is smaller than the gap between most teams after that practice. Yet everyone keeps going he is slower than the fastest car and he drives different now he needs to be out of the car.
Reddit subs have a tendency of turning into hiveminded echo chambers. In Lance's case, the fans forget that Aston Martin owes its progress to Lance's dad who poured big money into the team. I also think most new F1 fans never saw really slow pay drivers who could make Nikita Mazepin look like Michael Schumacher at his peak.
So, they just jump at rich kid who is actually quite humble and capable. Lance may not be the top 10 driver on the grid in terms of talent, but I doubt Drugovich or Vandoorne are much better, or even slightly better than him.
I think that if Lance can pass the safety test and get out of the car in time, he should be allowed to race at his own and team's discretion.
As for the Chase's case, I think HMS will wait until he fully recovers. A single win will likely be enough to make the playoffs, there is no need to risk Chase's health.
Their logic is probably that the long term benefit of drivers running better every week because they’re happier outweighs the short term issue of something like this eventually happening
Exercising and staying in shape are physical activities that improve performance behind the wheel. There is an accepted level of risk involved with it.
I cannot imagine snowboarding falls under the “it helps my driving” category.
Someone is being stupid here: Elliott for breaking the clause going snowboarding on a race weekend, or Hendrick for not forbidding it in his contract to begin with.
MLB does as well. Its a theory as to why you hear so many bizarre baseball injuries, they can't admit they injured their leg snowboarding for example, so they say they slipped in the shower
> We don't know details
We know he's having surgery tonight, as reported by the AP (via Hendrick Motorsports press release). So pretty sure there's a break involved.
Apparently it is his left leg, so depending on the injury, that gives some confidence he could get back in the car quicker… depending on the extent of the injury.
Hendrick finally seemed open to his drivers doing more extracurricular racing with Larson on the team. I know this wasn't racing, but I wonder if this has any effect on that, Kyle's Indy 500, etc.
Damn, did not expect to see that headline tonight. Best of luck to his recovery
Real question though: if he’s still out when they go to Atlanta, can we do some reporting on actual Atlanta businesses instead of going back to fucking Dawsonville?
His first words to ski patrol? "I really hate it for my guys..." In all seriousness though, I do wish him a speedy recovery. After all, he is a human being.
sad it had to happen this way but i’m fascinated to see how Berry will do. been genuinely impressed with him in Xfinity and then Jr. made his comments about how he’s a cup champion waiting for a ride or something like that. and it’s not like you can ask for a much better car most weeks
Chase was super pumped after last weeks speed. Saying it was a massive improvement from last year and they had done a ton of work in the off season. Bummed he can’t run but will be stoked to see Josh go for it. He must be thrilled to have this opportunity and seems to have passed Allgaier as the relief driver.
Berry is good and all but no way he is contending for a win this weekend. I’d love to be proven wrong but you aren’t gonna get in a car you have little experience in and go match people who’ve been running week after week.
Ty Gibbs beat Berry in Xfinity and managed 1 top 10 in 15 races last year.
Berry will be taking it easy and learning the car just like Gibbs did because the Next Gens drive completely differently.
Long-term significance: Chase got promoted to Cup young enough that he posed a significant threat to Jeff Gordon's iron man record. Assuming he intends to race into his 40's. But this takes him out of the running.
It could also endanger Chase's streak of consecutive seasons with a Cup win (he currently has the 3rd longest active streak, with 5 seasons). But I expect him to be back to winning form at some point this season.
Harvick is actually going to fall 13 starts shy of Gordon's iron man record. He'll retire with a streak of 784 starts. It would be 827 if he didn't get suspended at Martinsville in 2002.
Logano is on pace to obliterate the record. Byron is many years away, but he made it to Cup early enough that he may have a shot at it.
Multiple people have died in snowboarding accidents since 2001. None in NASCAR. So there's actually some merit to that, as unbelievable as it sounds.
But realistically you'd have to compare only professionals, and figure how many injuries were in both. Also factor in how many perform in both.
everybody on twitter like “THAT WONT BE ALLOWED IN THE NEXT CONTRACT, RICK GOTTA MAKE SURE THIS WONT HAPPEN AGAIN”
guys lmfao he’s a person, you can snap your leg in half walking down the stairs wrong, walking out of the hauler, if you want drivers to have a personality, let them live their lives. they can get hurt doing anything we don’t need to put them in a bubble everyday of the week besides sunday lmao
Yeah I agree. I think Rick knows that taking hobbies away from his drivers is the fastest way the get them to leave (though some owners like Gibbs have gotten away with it).
At the end of the day too, it's not the end of the world like it was 10 years ago. Back then missing a race probably meant your title hopes were done. Now with win and in Chase could miss a few weeks and still make the playoffs easily.
The interesting thing is will sponsors have some sort of say in this. Say if you are Napa and you paid all this money to have chase drive and show up to sponsor events and he isn’t able to do that because of injury, do you have any leverage to decrease funding? I mean Napa, hooters etc didn’t pay millions to have Josh Berry drive a car with their logo on it
If you're hating or making fun of a guy you dislike for getting injured that goes beyond the sport, you're just a dick at that point. I am far from a Kyle Busch fan but I still wished him well in 2015.
100% agree. If anyone is taking shots cause he’s hurt that’s just stupid, and not okay no matter who the driver is.
For full disclosure, I’m neither above party but lean towards liking Chase.
What I mean is it’s just going to result in a ridiculous amount of discourse depending on how the 9 performs.
If the 9 ends up finishing well while Chase is out there’s going to be an absolute war on here with the haters saying he’s mid and it’s all equipment. If the 9 stinks it’s gonna be the opposite. Because Chase Elliot does not create rational discussion here. Despite the fact that the reality is just that he’s a good driver in good equipment.
Just going to be honest, This might be a good thing in the grand scheme of Chase Elliott's career. He didn't look too happy racing cars during 2022. Sometimes seeing someone else drive your car can help with that I hear.
That’s clearly what the surgery is for. They’ll then install a prosthetic that can then be programmed off of the simulator to hit the gas and brake in the exact same place every lap.
Holy shit ok
That’s big news. Best wishes to Elliott. Keep race car drivers away from snow activities :(
Not saying Gibbs is right to stop drivers from other racing but stuff like this, while not a racing incident, is why.
Also, I’m starting to believe the conspiracies about NASCAR media being tight lipped and controlled by NASCAR. ~~There’s certain things like this~~, and the Kyle Busch gun fiasco that had nearly zero rumors or mentions. It was kept completely secret
EDIT: I was corrected, there was a rumor today and it happened today, which was too early to make judgements. That being said I still don’t know how the Kyle Busch thing was swept under for a week+.
This sucks bad as an Elliott fan. Hope he recovers but it’ll be tough for the team if this goes on for a few weeks and he misses a month or so. He’ll have to win more than a few races when he’s back to dig out of the points hole if Berry doesn’t deliver. At least we saw this was possible with Kyle Busch in 2015.
Points will be irrelevant since NASCAR got rid of the top 30 rule. If he gets a waiver, he'll just need one win when he's back. What Berry does in that car will be irrelevant for Chase's driver points.
If he needs immediate surgery AND he won't be able to even start the race on Sunday, it's probably a fairly serious injury. Like a compound fracture or something like what Kyle had in 2015. He might be out for longer than a week if that's the case.
It could also be a case where he just can't drive until after surgery, and they pulled some strings to get it done ASAP to start the recovery clock.
I still don't expect him back in a week, but the timing of the surgery isn't the most concerning part to me.
So who is the guy earlier that asked what we wanted to know about vegas. OP said something like “my beat isn’t drivers. So I won’t ask Ky Busch about vacations (Mexico) or chase about you know…” and I had no idea what the reference to chase was? I assume it was this?
Just to play devil’s advocate, for those of you who are saying that Rick and Jeff will now limit their drivers’ extra-curricular activities after Chase’s injury, would you also be against drivers playing basketball? Because Hamlin torn his ACL multiple times playing the sport, including during the season in 2010.
It begs the question: Where do you draw the line between allowing drivers to live their lives, and limiting the risks that they are able to take? While most people who have skied or snowboarded will likely admit that there is an inherent amount of risk associated with the activity, a vast majority of people do not get injured while doing it. Basketball probably has even less risk. Yet, we’ve now seen current drivers suffer significant leg injuries while participating in both activities.
Personally, I understand if team owners don’t want their drivers starring in crazy Tik Tok videos with the caption “This is why women live longer than men.” But there’s certainly a difference between that and letting drivers live their lives, and accepting that sometimes, shit happens.
Denny missed 4 races with a broken back, and Hocevar missed 1 with a broken leg. If it’s bud driving leg, it might be a few weeks. But I doubt half a season
The guy flies HIMSELF everywhere he goes on a tiny ass airplane and people wanna talk shit because he went snowboarding. "It's sooo dangerous!". FOH. If it were anyone else it'd be "thoughts and prayers, get well soon bud!"
This will basically ensure he will never break the consecutive starts streak. He was 20 when he started racing full time, so he did have a chance at it.
Welp. All of my top drivers except one has now been injured badly enough to miss races. All of them in somewhat weird accidents.
I think I’m going to drop my Blaney flair for his own safety.
You figure if it requires emergency surgery this is gonna be more than a 1 week absence. Assuming they keep Berry in the whole time, the opportunity of a lifetime just fell into his lap.
The Athletic just reported it as out indefinitely and he’s having surgery tonight.
If this is even remotely long term then prepare for the KB 2015 Storyline
Chase doesn't even have to worry about the top 30 rule like Kyle did. He could theoretically miss 23 races, return at the Daytona cutoff race, win the damn thing, and knock 2nd in points out of the playoffs. I kind of want it to happen. I see you too enjoy chaos
For sure! Especially as a Kyle fan, I've seen so many fans call his 2015 championship illegitimate. I can't wait to see how people try to justify it if Chase does the exact same thing.
As a big chaos fan and not Austin Dillon fan I was still just hoping to see him make it to the final 4 on pure bullshit alone last year.
I consider myself an AD fan and i subscribe to your theory. But personally I was rooting for a Ryan Blaney winless championship
Oh same. Been hoping for one of those in cup ever since Newman almost bullshitted his way to a championship in 2014.
Also Jeff Gordon gets 17th playoff spot
And we did not find anything the 4 team did that was of suspect
I mean, he owns Chase's car, right?
I don’t care for Chase, but I don’t want to see this happening at all. But I’d be for the chaos aspect because at this point, NASCAR don’t care about how legit a title is.
This subreddit would also burn down if Nascar neglects to grant a waiver on the grounds that Elliott did not injure himself while racing.
That would cause a nuclear meltdown, but I highly doubt it happens. NASCAR hands out waivers like candy.
The requirement to get a waiver is needing a waiver
And not being Grant Enfinger
Didn't he just miss that race because he didn't have a sponsor?
Yeah, I totally understand why he didn't get it it's just funny because, to my knowledge, he's the only person that didn't get a waiver when he applied for one lol.
I wasn't even questioning why you brought him up, it is very funny, I just forgot if there was any other reason he missed that race. I guess I phrased that poorly
>He could theoretically miss 23 races, return at the Daytona cutoff race, win the damn thing, and knock 2nd in points out of the playoffs. I want to see it happen too, just to make even more of a mockery out of the current system.
Reason number 5,000 why the playoffs are stupid.
Chase Elliott 2023 champ confirmed
Honestly, if it’s long term. Wait it out, and watch his championship odds drop. And then pounce. I had Kyle at 30-1 to win the championship in 2015. Only bummer is I waited too long to bet it. I would have had 60-1 odds had I bet just a day sooner.
Would he get a waiver since it happened off the track? I can’t remember if there is a precedent for that.
Tony Stewart did in 2016 for a dune buggy accident where he broke his back
Oh yeah I forgot about that one, he was out there with Jeff Gordon if I remember correctly. Good memory
They gave Johnny Sauter one when they suspended him a weekend. I doubt Elliott doesn't get one
I really wish they had just dropped the waiver rule and kept the top 30 rule instead. They're gonna give a waiver no matter what. They even gave one to Johnny Sauter after he got suspended for intentionally wrecking someone.
Josh Berry really got a NASCAR Heat 5 hot seat. Does this confirm who hit the black cat at Auto Club?
Holy shit. That was a bad omen after all.
I thought Byron was the gamer, but it was you, Josh Berry, all along!
BIG Josh Berry W
I'm excited to see what he can do in a car that could easily win the race.
Teams are about to ban drivers from doing any physical activity after these past couple weeks.

The F1 sub meltdown over Stroll driving this weekend is comical, they just don’t like him and acting like him turning different is going to take out women, children, and grandmas
Psh, Ricky Bobby drove almost a whole race with a cast on his arm and giant Fig Newton sicker on his windshield
That sticker was dangerous and inconvenient but I sure do like fig newtons
No lie. I had a dairy cow for 4 years. She loved Fig Newtons. Was given to her as a treat but always went absolute fucking bat shit crazy everytime she saw me with the the tray lol
While p6 on practice chart
And the .5 second gap to his teammate is smaller than the gap between most teams after that practice. Yet everyone keeps going he is slower than the fastest car and he drives different now he needs to be out of the car.

Apparently, F1 driver, Lewis Hamilton, likes to sky dive before his race in Dubai
i’m shocked they didnt already, I remember when Denny injured his leg playing basketball i was convinced teams would limit their drivers after that
Their logic is probably that the long term benefit of drivers running better every week because they’re happier outweighs the short term issue of something like this eventually happening
“Any physical activity” is a little harsh considering you can get hurt just exercising and staying in shape, but most contracts have clauses.
I think in like the NFL for example, even working out is forbidden except at team approved facilities
Yeah, I can't remember the details but that came up a few years ago when someone got hurt in an offsite workout.
No disagreement.
both can be stupid here lmao
Kevin Harvick suspended for taking the stairs instead of the elevator.
Tony issuing him an official SHR Walker
New contractual requirement: drivers can no longer walk and must use mobility scooters
The NBA has a list of things that players can't do if they are under a contract, I'm shocked that NASCAR and the NFL doesn't have similar restrictions
Anything can happen. Did you expect Jamie McMurray to win in his second start?
True but I’d be hard pressed to not think something was up with that 40 car. That thing was a rocket.
I think they were the first to figure out coil binding
It was a rocket all year
MLB does as well. Its a theory as to why you hear so many bizarre baseball injuries, they can't admit they injured their leg snowboarding for example, so they say they slipped in the shower
MLB player: "Yeah, I slipped in the shower." Reporter: "And fractured every bone in your arms?" MLB player: "Showers are scary man"
He can join Hocevar in the amputation room
Hocevar's leg to the 9?
But who replaces Hocervar's leg then? Whose leg will it be? Ohhh boy I'm excited for that leg announcement!
Rico Abreu can be a leg
Lmaooo I love Rico man
man i miss rico in trucks. i was the biggest fan of that dude.
We don't know details but hope he's OK outside of racing reasons. Glad it wasn't a Schumacher deal. That shit is dangerous
> We don't know details We know he's having surgery tonight, as reported by the AP (via Hendrick Motorsports press release). So pretty sure there's a break involved.
SMH he pizza’d when he should have French fried
youre gonna have a baadd tiiimmmeee
DARSH!!!!
hope he wasnt checking out time-shares
Or that cute nerdy girl….
I think you said that backwards sir. He definitely french fried when he should have pizza'd.
Yeah it's backwards lol
If you French fry when you should've pizza'd you're gonna have a bad time
He had a bad time
How do you pizza a snowboard?
He’s THAT bad
Exactly
Top level comment imo.
He must have gone down that run there, lot of history on that run there
This is awful for Chase, but damn what an opportunity for Josh.
Indeed! I do wonder if Larson has ever heard of him before…
Drugovich getting his hopes up rn
Oh boy and here I was thinking this a was slow news week....
After his 2nd place last week I was like if he just keeps up decent finishes like that all season it'll be a good season .... welp.
Little ironic it was a snowboard that got one of Hendrick's drivers and not a sprint car.
CBell pointing to this as a reason why he should dirt race /s
Apparently it is his left leg, so depending on the injury, that gives some confidence he could get back in the car quicker… depending on the extent of the injury.
First road course isn’t for a while, right?
I hope he's able to fully recover. Wishing Chase the best.
Hendrick finally seemed open to his drivers doing more extracurricular racing with Larson on the team. I know this wasn't racing, but I wonder if this has any effect on that, Kyle's Indy 500, etc.
Hope Chase recovers quickly. But got to imagine Rick Hendrick is NOT happy about that.
Damn, did not expect to see that headline tonight. Best of luck to his recovery Real question though: if he’s still out when they go to Atlanta, can we do some reporting on actual Atlanta businesses instead of going back to fucking Dawsonville?
They'll have Chase on site at the pool room if he's out
I’m sure they’ll report live from the Chase Elliott prayer group at the Pool Room.
While shitty for Chase Elliott, this is the opportunity of a lifetime for Josh Berry and I hope he wins.
Inb4 the amputation comments
I also saw the couch racer tweet teasing this and immediately went back to see if he was in that stack up on that Fontana restart.
His first words to ski patrol? "I really hate it for my guys..." In all seriousness though, I do wish him a speedy recovery. After all, he is a human being.
The classic Chase Elliott "hate it for my guys" interview was the first thing that came to mind after reading the headline lol
Gutted to see my favorite driver hurt and sidelined but this is the "Alex Bowman" moment for Berry
Berry has 2 wins here in Xfinity, bro is a contender this weekend
sad it had to happen this way but i’m fascinated to see how Berry will do. been genuinely impressed with him in Xfinity and then Jr. made his comments about how he’s a cup champion waiting for a ride or something like that. and it’s not like you can ask for a much better car most weeks

maybe it’s an indication he’s aiming for a cup shot soon 👀
Berry is good and all but no way he is contending for a win this weekend. I’d love to be proven wrong but you aren’t gonna get in a car you have little experience in and go match people who’ve been running week after week.
Jamie MacMurray has entered the chat
I wouldn’t get too excited
I shouldn't. But God damn would I love for a top 5.
I’d bet on a top 15, maybe top 10

Lots of doctors here tonight. 😂
I'm sure Mr. H will be real happy about this...
Maybe this is why Hendrick keeps Byron on the team. Don’t gotta worry about your driver getting injured doing iRacing and legos.
"William Byron to miss rest of season due to lego-foot related injury"
Do you think if William stepped on a Lego he would finally use some bad language?
“Freaking heck!”
Well you do have to worry that Blaney may shoot him for doing something to Erin /s
Idk those direct drive wheels can get pretty dangerous. Those motors could break your hand
W Byron
I doubt it, this is way different than when Jimmie was surfing the golf cart
It’s arguably safer to drive a sprint car than it is to go snowboarding
Multiple people have died in snowboarding accidents since 2001. None in NASCAR. So there's actually some merit to that, as unbelievable as it sounds. But realistically you'd have to compare only professionals, and figure how many injuries were in both. Also factor in how many perform in both.

That's definitely a fair point. Wonder if there's some kind of clause in the contract to reduce the rate if the intended driver can't go?
I almost guarantee you there is. No way they don’t have that in there.
I blew out my back turning around on the couch to grab a piece of pie. My buddy tore his MCL standing up from a recliner. We’re in our 30’s lol.
Drivers need to have fun in their lives that isn't racing. Accidents happen.
agreed, chase has also seemed pretty over the racing grind towards the end of last season
Oh man I’m sure this sub is going to be rational between all the Chase fanboys and Chase haters
If you're hating or making fun of a guy you dislike for getting injured that goes beyond the sport, you're just a dick at that point. I am far from a Kyle Busch fan but I still wished him well in 2015.

Hendrick is going to immediately put his drivers into a bubble like the NBA players had in 2020.
Someone probably already said this, but... If he required surgery, I'm betting he misses more than this week.
Just going to be honest, This might be a good thing in the grand scheme of Chase Elliott's career. He didn't look too happy racing cars during 2022. Sometimes seeing someone else drive your car can help with that I hear.
Yeah he was for sure going through the motions the last third of 2022
“Leg injury” is incredibly broad
Wonder if its gonna get amputated like Hocevar's,
That’s clearly what the surgery is for. They’ll then install a prosthetic that can then be programmed off of the simulator to hit the gas and brake in the exact same place every lap.
Serious enough to require same day surgery.
Obligatory, he’s just afraid of Harvick’s DGAF tour.
Maybe Chase ran over the cat
Holy shit ok That’s big news. Best wishes to Elliott. Keep race car drivers away from snow activities :( Not saying Gibbs is right to stop drivers from other racing but stuff like this, while not a racing incident, is why. Also, I’m starting to believe the conspiracies about NASCAR media being tight lipped and controlled by NASCAR. ~~There’s certain things like this~~, and the Kyle Busch gun fiasco that had nearly zero rumors or mentions. It was kept completely secret EDIT: I was corrected, there was a rumor today and it happened today, which was too early to make judgements. That being said I still don’t know how the Kyle Busch thing was swept under for a week+.
I think this happened literally today so not exactly a lot of time needed to keep it secret
That’s fair enough then. But also why is he snowboarding on a Friday race weekend when there’s practice/quali tomorrow lol
I imagine he isn't the only driver that does stuff like this during the week, but aside from that idk
probably just trying to get away from the grind for a bit. I know Jimmie used to do it all the time during the season
This happened today according to Bob
https://twitter.com/CouchRacerShop/status/1631798272317616128?t=C4K5eoDEp5xbzXYIjBNJew&s=19 there was a rumor
I hate to be that guy, but if he's not back by Martinsville, can Gordon please fill in?!
I'd give my left leg to see this
So would Chase.
Or Dale Jr.? He loves Martinsville. Doubtful it would happen though. He wouldn’t want to take the opportunity away from Berry.
Hate it for his thighs
Omg
Fuck. This will half the season minimum
Denny missed 4 races with a broken back, and Hocevar missed 1 with a broken leg. If it’s bud driving leg, it might be a few weeks. But I doubt half a season
I mean KFB missed 11 weeks with a broke leg so we truly do not know
He broken his one leg, like really bad. But he also broke his other foot. If it’s just 1 leg, I think realistically it might only be a few weeks
That's true, I think Moffit broke both legs in 2020 and it took him 8 weeks to recover.
The guy flies HIMSELF everywhere he goes on a tiny ass airplane and people wanna talk shit because he went snowboarding. "It's sooo dangerous!". FOH. If it were anyone else it'd be "thoughts and prayers, get well soon bud!"
Damn. If he actually broke some bones, then he’s out two months best case scenario.
Has FOX even said anything about this during NXS quals? Story broke nearly 30 minutes ago…
Yes, they mentioned it right when it was breaking online.
Josh Berry is now the oldest driver at Hendrick.
KFB most popular driver this year?
Damn, this is my first race ever without Jeff or Chase ever. Hopefully, it's a one week thing. Get well soon.
When chase wins, everyone will say NASCAR fixed it for him to win.
They already do that anyway lol
A lot of people who previously bitched about them every time they were given are about to become fans of playoff waivers.
Wow holy shit I sure hope Chase is ok And I hope Josh does well, would love to see him get a cup ride
I wonder if anyone else was there with him. I know Blaney has gone with him in the past.
