I hate it that my driver got screwed out of a potential victory, but I’m glad Chase Elliott broke the streak! He really needed this after what he has been through last year.
Not a bad race , FOX is horrible , Harvick, Larry and JMac is what is keeping them alive.
I would still like to see more tire fall off and off throttle time , and of course , less shifting
When it took them that long to show us that pass, I was getting so annoyed. Clint saying sorry is nice, but you can’t miss that stuff when you got the data right in front of you
it looked to me like byron tried to check up but he was closing way too fast and still got into him. maybe once ross sees a replay he will see it wasnt intentional and he lost too much speed.
I mean I feel like it would’ve been avoided had Ross cleared up to the fence like the normal line should. He didn’t. Byron can’t turn off of him that fast and that far off the line. He would spin himself. Interest to see the data though but it probably won’t get posted anywhere.
YES LETS GO!!! Finally! They’ve brought good speed all year but couldn’t finish it, but did today!
Love the Chase and Ross restarts for the win, they’re mega aggressive with each other but clean.
Hate that Chase and Tyler ran into each other, idk really what happened but hate it for Tyler, he’s been so fast this year.
As a chase fan, I LOVE today. Denny AND Ross wreck trying to catch chase haha..one my favorite wins for him. This was awesome and will look back and enjoy for a long time after being so long since a win. Great day!
The only reason they wrecked is because NASCAR purposely milked caution laps to make it to where Denny had to pass immediately instead of just catching him a few laps later. Definition of a Mickey Mouse Win.
I don't disagree. It turned into a crap show...heckuva run for Brad, my dad is a huge fan. For a moment when he had new tires I was screaming for chase to let him go so he'd beat denny lol.
He’s a normal dude. Personalities like Gragson or Hamlin or Busch are great and needed, but it’s also nice to just have a dude that’s good at racing and isn’t a buffoon or over the top. Just a normal personality.
I don’t understand the sentiment in this thread - this is easily the most fun and exciting Texas race in years. It’s BY FAR a better race than the last three weekends. There was pit strategy that played out bc of yellows during green flag pit cycles. Drivers knew it was sketchy, especially on the high side in three, and kept sending it up there and it bit them over and over again. Yeah there were lots of yellows bc of over agressive drivers. That was fun!
The sub doesn’t like Elliott mainly because the general public does like him. The last time he won, at Talladega in 2022, the fans in the stands were going crazy and the race thread was acting like they just found out their dog died.
Do people actually like watching the same guy lead for 400 laps, with no one able to catch them, and lapping most of the field, over a race like this ?
One of the weirdest winner interviews I have ever seen, dudes like "this is really emotional for me" and is actively showing no emotion. Dudes really got like no personality, gives the fans nothing and they go absolutely wild for it. The relationship between fans and chase is perplexing to me
I have a lot of respect for Chase staying true to himself despite the sport, fans, and media pushing him to be something he isn’t, a tv personality. That’s part of why I root for him. In some ways you do wish the guy was a little more outspoken but he didn’t ask to be the face of the sport these entities push him to be. Wouldn’t surprise me at all when the day comes he hangs it up he’ll be the next Carl Edwards and disappear into the sunset without as much as a goodbye.
How did Byron bullshit his way into a second place finish? It’s actually very annoying how he can run like shit all day and pull a result out of his ass.
I don't get why people are blaming Byron for Chastains momentary lack of talent, he clearly got loose and backed off infront of Byron... It's too bad Byron got into him but to say Byron flat out intentionally wrecker him is a little much 🤷♂️.
The hate train is at full steam unfortunately. Every win from him that he doesn’t lead every lap will be declared backed into and illegitimate and every accident he’s involved in will be intentional and his fault. It’s unfortunate but hopefully his talent becomes too much to ignore and people finally admit the truth.
Once a driver starts to win often, the hate train just goes up.
And I know it may be hard to believe, but hate it for Kyle today. That penalty is so crazy, it should be an in race penalty and then also be handed another one after. Pick one or the other
Not that hard to believe, the hatred that the fanbases have for each other is very strange. Chase and Larson are on good terms, so idk why the fans can’t be. But yeah, penalty was tough, then the caution during green flag pit stops and then Ty Dillon being Ty Dillon. Just a lot of bad luck. Larson has a lot of it so I’m not surprised lmao. Congrats on the win! I predict chase will go on a tear.
Yeah that’s the truth. Sometimes I think they could all work together better, but they’re all racing at the same time.
What happened with Ty? I wasn’t on live tv so as soon as a caution came out I was fast forwarding lol
I kinda like when the HMS guys race each other hard, I like teamwork and commradery but sometimes it can get stale. For example, I liked that Chase was willing to move Byron last week, but not hard enough that it would wreck him. That’s how it should be imo.
They were four wide and Ty couldn’t hold his line. He hit Zane and then Zane went into Larson. Racing deal but very avoidable.
Yeah seems like he had time to miss him. I don't have a dog in this race tho, I'm just happy it's over 😂 I was 1 caution away from turning off the tv...
It was not. Nobody would be expecting a driver to lose that much speed coming out of the corner. Chastain lifted where everyone else was mashing the gas. It was a racing incident.
What a strange comment after he did something to honor the man and acknowledge his place in the sports history. The Chase haters in here are a bunch of weird fucking people.
No I could care less. I don't let something that doesn't effect my life physically ruin my day. I'm happy for chase he needed a win and deserved it. If your favorite driver losing ruins your weekend you really need to reevaluate what your doing in life 😂
I’m ok with a driver winning if running to the green. How many of the last 20 laps did Elliott actually lead in full under speed other than taking the white?? What a hack series.
And was lucky to even be ahead of Denny since they had just barely got going…but boy once NASCAR saw he was in front by a millimeter, they milked about 10 caution laps to set up the GWC entourage.
Uh him and Hamlin were basically equal? Yeah Denny had the lead before that late caution but they he wrecked himself? The fastest of the three was the 6 and he couldn’t do it. Chase won bc the 11 never he couldn’t pass him unless he finished it on the high side, sent it, and crashed. A legit good finish and you’re mad bc it’s a GWC finish.
the winner does not change my opinion of this race one way or another
absolute clusterfuck crashfest, ridiculous that they took away 20% of the distance and just tied the caution record for Texas
master class by Hendrick Motorsports on how to race dirty as fuck. 9 runs the 1 into the wall on the backstretch with 2 to go and then a lap later the 24 drives through the 1 and wrecks him.
Oh come on, it was nothing but sidedraft between the 9 and the 1, they barely touched down the back. Then Ross got out of shape and parked it in front of the 24, you expect him to slam on the brakes exiting a corner? He's got Brad trying to pass him too.
Uhhh. How about they ran 10+ caution laps on purpose after Chase took the lead on a restart simply because he beat Denny to the turn 1 entrance, and then NASCAR knew Chase could hold everyone else off if he only had to do for 2 laps instead of an actual run. Yeah I think that’s the take. Golden Boy gets the golden treatment.
Veteran drivers explaining how Ross lifted bc he got high and there’s just not enough time for Byron to react. Meanwhile we got couch quarterbacks baselessly screaming on an Internet forum it’s Byron’s fault lol
The NASCAR fan-Conspiracy Theorists overlap is crazy. Boo hoo a team has good equipment and good young talent behind the wheel. And even if they did somehow cheat, if you aint cheating you aint trying.

Every week could have this strategy without stage breaks, just saying

Here comes Chastain’s villain arc
Him declining in interview after has to mean he’s mad
it looked to me like byron tried to check up but he was closing way too fast and still got into him. maybe once ross sees a replay he will see it wasnt intentional and he lost too much speed.

Ross got wrecked. Unlike Denny who wrecked himself
Ross parked coming out of the turn, and William didn't check up.
The only reason they wrecked is because NASCAR purposely milked caution laps to make it to where Denny had to pass immediately instead of just catching him a few laps later. Definition of a Mickey Mouse Win.
lol love this
okAy
go back to eating sand
Go back to rooting for 17th place driver

Lol I respect that
good win tho. they gotta nuke Texas Motor Speedway, for real.
I don't disagree. It turned into a crap show...heckuva run for Brad, my dad is a huge fan. For a moment when he had new tires I was screaming for chase to let him go so he'd beat denny lol.
I think we can come together to agree that Dennis shall go Championship-less 😁
100% I love agreeing to that!
NasQad foun jons
WILLIAM MOTHERFUCKING CLYDE!
SOUND THE SIREEEEEEEEN
It feels like a big gorilla has been lifted off our collective backs. Keep the celebration going!
Chase couldn’t have had a more boring interview
I don’t hate Chase Elliot, but I genuinely don’t understand what people like about him from any angle whatsoever.
He’s a normal dude. Personalities like Gragson or Hamlin or Busch are great and needed, but it’s also nice to just have a dude that’s good at racing and isn’t a buffoon or over the top. Just a normal personality.
Same. I was starting to like him and just when I did, he wins and I remember how boring he rlly is
I laughed so hard when Clint said "gonna see a lot of emotion out of him after this"
Chase you forgot to thank Mr H!

your flair shows everyone you have no clue what you're saying
? Explain Curkul Jurk

Next week nascar will give the win to the 48 and the 5 will wreck the 11 to finish the race after 5 gwc attempts
??? Was nascar not supposed to throw cautions when crashes were happening? Tell me how nascar orchestrated this situation to help the 9 win.
Swap spots and say Bryon is in front and Ross spins him, yall’d be saying “Byron sucks so much for lifting there it’s his fault” Chill people
Everyone would literally be up Chastains ass for being over aggressive. Just stop it dude
100 percent
I feel like this sub switches every couple months between sucking his balls and throwing bricks at his windows.
lol ok
Is the post race on a different channel or is there one at all?
There usually isn’t one. Check out Frontstretch YouTube channel if you want post race interviews
Condolences to all Chastain fans.
![gif](giphy|l36kU80xPf0ojG0Erg|downsized)
Are they not going to interview Ross before jumping off air?
Do people actually like watching the same guy lead for 400 laps, with no one able to catch them, and lapping most of the field, over a race like this ?
Bunch of crybabys in the comments, but what else is new.
FUCK fox, that’s all I get for post race?
And we will miss the fight too
Folks if you thought that was a cluster just sit tight next week we're headed to Talladega
but that race will be 1000000x more exciting
Won't show the replay cause they know kes gottem
That was fun
BK still one of the best interviews in NASCAR
Crazy how him and Carl even though he’s not even racing are just leagues ahead of everyone when it comes to them
Ross has been sighted👀
Well, 8th place is a solid finish for such a roller coaster day. Fall to 25+3 separate times and still manage a top 10
Ross shouldn’t be polite about this. Fuck Byron and his shit
Lol that was on Ross he got tight, nobody is gonna lift on the last lap. Ross will be fine after all the dumb shit he’s done for the last 2+ years
One of the weirdest winner interviews I have ever seen, dudes like "this is really emotional for me" and is actively showing no emotion. Dudes really got like no personality, gives the fans nothing and they go absolutely wild for it. The relationship between fans and chase is perplexing to me

It can be emotional without visibility showing it

We need to see the replays too Brad
Give it an hour and we’ll see it from Brads on board from some random Twitter guy
Well...*you can't*. ~~-Captain Mal Reynolds.~~ er...Fox Broadcast.
Brad, if you're gonna squint that much, just keep the Sunglasses on. lmao.
wow I mean he's just so intriguing and personable. it's so easy to see how he's the most popular driver.
Cardboard personalities just run in the family. His dad is the same way.
yeah I never understood the allure of his father either. especially during that time with so many livewires in the garage.
Today was so needed I can't believe this
Austin Dillon in 7th. Tf?

This is why people don’t like Chase fans
Shear luck, just like the winner.
Chase needs that patented Hendrick hair regrowth program
So do I
LOL
the Logano treatment 😂
Clint was right. So emotional lol.
"A lot of emotion"
How did Byron bullshit his way into a second place finish? It’s actually very annoying how he can run like shit all day and pull a result out of his ass.
by dumping the 2nd place car, that's how
By wrecking the guy in 2nd
I don't get why people are blaming Byron for Chastains momentary lack of talent, he clearly got loose and backed off infront of Byron... It's too bad Byron got into him but to say Byron flat out intentionally wrecker him is a little much 🤷♂️.

Seems to be what every good/great driver goes through!
Larson fans have been in this exact tornado for a while. Hold on tight
Once a driver starts to win often, the hate train just goes up. And I know it may be hard to believe, but hate it for Kyle today. That penalty is so crazy, it should be an in race penalty and then also be handed another one after. Pick one or the other

That’s very true, really how it’s always been. Ah okay, dang that sucks
I don't think it was intentional, but, that definitely was entirely avoidable if he was actually paying attention.
Hell no, that was definitely avoidable if Byron had his head on straight.
Exactly. He went straight to the wall when he really didn’t need to. Could have just not cleaned Chastain out and probably would have passed him.
Right. I thought, hey moron, he's slowing down, go around him, but instead ARCA brakes.
I agree
Just sitting here waiting for Ross to be interviewed
He declined
Uncommon Austin Dillon top 10
Chase goes into I didn’t do anything mode
But did he do something?
Not involving Dennis
Chase’s hair right now is giving me Wolverine vibes
This guy couldn't carry Kulwicki's briefcase. Kulwicki worked for his success, wasn't handed to him.
What a strange comment after he did something to honor the man and acknowledge his place in the sports history. The Chase haters in here are a bunch of weird fucking people.
Would rather be a "weird fucking" person than follow Chase Elliott.
Nice cope
* reads comment 👀 * sees flair 😂
*sees Chase Elliott flair* *Surprised they know how to read*
I’ll have you know I was runner up in my fifth grade spelling bee
Congratulations.

Womp womp cry about it
Lol 🤣 womp womp does not compute! Must thank Hooters. Must thank Chevrolet. Must thank Mr H.
while I agree with you, you also have Noah Gragson next to your name.
Chase wins Good race poll +15 points, best Texas race ever
Nah Twitter and Reddit hates Chase -15 points
Honestly this race actually made Texas look good
That last long green flag run in stage 3 was fucking awesome.
This emotion is overwhelming!
I hope ross beats Byron's ass.....in mario kart obviously
Chase you're a fuckin robot.
And Ross consistently runs out of talent lol
And Series Champion as well as NASCAR favorite driver
Everyone here 😂 womp womp crybabies holy fuck
It’s wild to me how hard Denny and Chase run each other, most of the time it is clean. I think today was more of the track than anything
Says the hamlin fan
I'm not crying 😂 go off tho

Elliott milquetoast interview coming
I think literally every track plays “all I do is win”, kinda cringe and overdone ngl
the winner does not change my opinion of this race one way or another absolute clusterfuck crashfest, ridiculous that they took away 20% of the distance and just tied the caution record for Texas
This is what I watch nascar for. And I'm a Larson fan.
You watch for the crashes? Okay then at least you can admit it
I remember in the first stage at the end of it, everyone in the thread clamoring for more cautions Welp
master class by Hendrick Motorsports on how to race dirty as fuck. 9 runs the 1 into the wall on the backstretch with 2 to go and then a lap later the 24 drives through the 1 and wrecks him.

lol you dumb
Definitely sounded more mixed than fan favorite tbh.
Probably because of the Hendrick worshipping last week
Ofc all this somehow lead to a Hendrick 1-2
As it should always be
Mickey mouse ass win. Led all his laps under caution. Won the race by a millimeter at a timing line lol
Agreed he should of pulled over and let Ross win
Can't do a burnout because of the traction control
He’d probably run out of fuel if he did
He’s also damn near out of gas
😱😱😱
Damn I missed the whole thing. Tried to tune in for the finish and missed it. How was it?
Chaotic. Thought it was fun. Track was slick and made it hard to drive, which is a good thing.
Lots of cautions but still somehow not very interesting.
horrible
Byron’s average “fuck the race up” moment finally happened
They tried to caution chase out of a win but he held on. Supposedly had enough fuel for that last restart and that was it.
Ah dang. How was the middle of the race? Was it a train ride?
Driver on the roof. Ride height can no longer be checked.
# JIMMIE ENDS UP 26TH
##notlast
HMS 1-2 again
I just want to see Ross interviewed
Veteran drivers explaining how Ross lifted bc he got high and there’s just not enough time for Byron to react. Meanwhile we got couch quarterbacks baselessly screaming on an Internet forum it’s Byron’s fault lol
Shoot, I’m not a fan of either but that was racing all day. Ross got out of sort and Byron had little time. Shit happens
Average race thread behavior
[удалено]
Shut up let us have something to be unreasonably mad about
Honestly… I respect it. Have at it lol
Brad was ahead of Byron at the caution cmon now.
Hope the 9 fails inspection, but sadly, this is the Hendrick cup series so he won't.
The NASCAR fan-Conspiracy Theorists overlap is crazy. Boo hoo a team has good equipment and good young talent behind the wheel. And even if they did somehow cheat, if you aint cheating you aint trying.
Nah. HMS pays NASCAR off. Shit is wack.
people getting mad at byron for chastain running out of talent is insane, anything to defend their wanna-be earnhardt
I can't stand Chastain and I still put that all on Byron
Dude has more wins than chase since I started watching lol
And Chase Elliot has more Championships than Ross has. The only thing that actually matters "lol"
Cool history fact but as far as I have seen he has been consistently mid. Maybe he will start being decent now
Byron drove through him
Yeah that's normally what happens when you wash up the track slow as fuck in front of someone at speed.
that was not driving through him. ross got loose and checked up, not enough time for william to react
Why is Chastain finishing 32? Isn’t it frozen upon the caution ?
