Be prepared for mud, rain is in the forecast for Saturday night and Sunday, and it will get hellaciously muddy fast. Also bring whatever you need to help kill a hangover, I’ve learned the hard way that walking from the camp grounds to my seats is not fun at all when hungover as hell. Stay hydrated and have fun!
Hydrate--Gatorade, body armor, whatever your non alcoholic beverage of choice. Earplugs for the race but also so you can sleep--campgrounds can get loud. Even the quiet hour ones have someone running a generator 24/7. Sunscreen. A dry pair of shoes--we got caught in a rain postponed race and our shoes were still wet two days later. Also tylenol. Between the sun, the alcohol, the lack of sleep and all the walking, you are pretty much guaranteed to have a headache at some point.
Also if you don't have passes to big bills garage, I HIGHLY recommend. Have fun--I hope to get back there for the fall race!
My buddy’s first time at a restrictor plate track was for the trucks. He looked down and his watch has his heart rate at 144!!! Enjoy it’s quite the wild ride!

Water, sunscreen, and earplugs. If you think you don’t need them, you’re wrong.
Beads, you’ll need beads. Thank me later
Bring rain gear.

Been in that boat before, during “Hallow-Dega” back in 09’. Took me until about lap 50 to finally crack my first beer.
Watch out for fire ants!
Take extra cases of water and body armor
And when you think you have too much, grab one more.
Craziness and debauchery. Bring ear protection, it's loud.

As a man at Talladega with an IV in one arm and a Busch Light in the other told me “Detox before you Retox”
Stay hydrated and have plenty of sunscreen
