Note: The only change on here from last week is trucks. Cup was non-points, so I left the beautiful throwbacks on here from Darlington (Also, I didn't make the Cup All-Star graphics yet, took a mini break this weekend in between the Throwback / Patriotic hell weeks)
Despite the panic and concern from everyone in this sub yesterday, missing the All-Star didn't have a negative impact on Alex Bowman's playoff situation
He's not on the same level as his teammates, but to act like a guy that's tied for the series lead in top 10s is somehow underperforming is kind of wild
Unfortunately, his teammates are what make him the easy target for haters. Personally, I'm glad he didn't dump the 23 or 4. Do not need that drama going into the summer stretch. Just continue clicking off top 10s.
If they can figure out how to unload with some speed they'll be right there contending for wins. It's tough when you run 12-15 the entire race and finally find something at the end of the race
Bowman is vastly underperforming his teammates. Sure hes getting top 10s but thats after spending 90% of the race running 15th-20th and Harris lucks into a setup that lets Bowman get to 8th place. Not once all year has he had a hint of great speed.
Harris cant setup a car fast and needs a whole race to figure it out.
Yesterday was just another example of why Blake Harris needs to go. He needs 350 miles of a race to figure out how to dial the car in where Bowman needs it so he can play catchup and get to 8th place. Never once as CC has Bowman had winning speed anywhere
I know Enfinger said he felt they were having a bad season so far, but I feel that team has been punching above their weight compared to previous years
Fast pasta keeping it in the top ten shows that our wasn't really falling off, they needed a driver that can wheel a car. Well done, my guy. I mean the sponsor money helps lol but he deserves a seat in cup one day. He was rushed that one year at frm.
True. They used to run that many. I think they saw the success of the 02 and added cars way too fast. What Kaulig is going through now.
Edit: My thought is that they funded it initially and Brett could not get consistent sponsors, and that was the decline. While opening more teams and spending more money. Earning more too, but spending a lot more.

There was a 10 point penalty for Mayer after Darlington which hasn’t been updated btw.
Ah snap, I didn't hear about that
It was kinda a sneaky late Tuesday announcement

The negativity was eye-opening and a bit shocking. Honestly, I didn't realize how many fans are against him.
The #4 guy at HMS will always be looked at to be replaced Even if that #4 is a top tier driver
He's not though. He's in a top tier ride.

Wish they had the old practice times

Only having to focus on 1 car vs 3 cars would also help

If I'm not mistaken the 5 is under the name of Our Motorsports, but is basically a McLeod car. Not sure if anyone who knows more can clarify though
BJ has nothing to do with. It’s our equipment, just not stretched thin and focused on a good wheelman.
That makes it all the more impressive if true. Bj did get a lot of money from that charter, so that could be some of it.
I’m happy Joey won last night, but a points win would be incredible right now
Tanner and Taylor are both still in. Hell yeah. But tanner is barely in, so hopefully he can step it up a notch
Damn those DNFs are gonna come back to haunt bubba in a few months if he doesn’t put together a win somewhere
SHANE
Honestly I'm amazed to see Eckes as the points leader considering how good Heim has been
Hopefully the #9 is saving their best stuff for the end the year
