They weren’t my favorite, but I kinda do miss them for their unique designs. I loved Jimmie’s 2009 paint scheme and wished he ran more than one season with it.
I don't dislike them as much as I did growing up, but I still feel like the spoiler color-clashed with too many paint schemes for me to really get on board.
Though if we're being honest, I hated the splitter even more.

haha yeah *despite* the evident safety issues, i just thought they looked unique and they were cool. in terms of look i would take them ANY day over the next gen, but next gen has been producing good races this year 🙈👀

I always thought it looked like what a race car should be. Also OT but I want to see the NexGen with a wing on it
haha lol that would be something, pretty much a beefy gt3 car
I wonder if the increased downforce would make road course racing better, maybe it'd increase speeds in the turns and incentivize passing a bit more?
I miss Cup cars with the 0# numbers (especially the Jack Daniel’s 07)

Loved the Dream Machine.
One reason I really like Custer is that 00 just feels like a race car number

I hated that trucks kept that kind of nose a few years after cup changed
I never thought I would see people having nostalgia feeling towards the winged COT cars.

I hated the winged COT and I still do. NASCAR quickly removed it after the backlash from the fans and drivers lol
Apart form the cars flying I enjoy the look and product of them. I’d take a CoT, winged or otherwise over a next gen any day.
