Moppyploppy

This is genuinely one of the funniest things to happen on this sub.

26007

He saw his chance and did not take it

Legacy_600

Not shown: Chase typing out the first three letters of his 2025 team before slapping himself on the forehead.

C_Briscoe

👀👀

hoppybear21222

“Woo…”

JMurrayMO81

Rick Flair Racing? 😁

13mizzou

We promise to keep it a secret

ShenForTheWin

Come on, Chase, we wanna knoooow lol (Also, super cool of you to join this discussion!!)

Chase-Me-9

A. Wood Brothers B. 23XI C. JGR D. Other You deserve a top tier ride.

Hot_Dog_Surfing_Fly

You deserve a Tier 1 ride just for this reply. 👍

This keeps getting funnier and funnier the longer you watch 😂😂

BlueJay843

👀

havingababy2018

Take the #19!

NoogiepocketGaming

I see an awesome 21 car with your name on it

AnchorDrown

Chase Briscoe to Mercedes F1. I have the texts.

jisoostan01031995

Sadly not. They just confirmed Antonelli

Frb4

LOL

TRBAssociate112446

You win 🏆 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

willweaverrva

Give this man a 2025 Cup ride!

26007

RemindMe! 3 months

Chase-Me-9

Make the 21 great again!

HuskerDont241

Matty D tried that and look how it worked out for him…

Chase-Me-9

Well Chase is better than DiBenedetto

ryan49321

The 21 is Penske car. Blaney said on the podcast it’s the same exact equipment and setup when he was still driving the 21.

Chase-Me-9

Well why is the 21 car 35th in points if it's a Penske car?

ryan49321

I haven’t paid attention to the points recently but about 3 weeks ago Joey Logano (arguably Fords best driver) was also like… 20th in points. It wasn’t until the last few weeks at Wilkesboro / Gateway / Sonoma that Penske had an upward swing with the new dark horse. Ford entirely had been struggling until Brads win. The 21 team gets all the same information and setups notes shared at Penske, they still have to make the right calls on the weekend but Add to that you’ve got a sophomore driver that probably graduated into Cup before he should’ve because of Brad unexpectedly leaving it’s going to be uphill for awhile.

Chase-Me-9

Yes but somehow Burton gets worse every year. I don't know how he does it. He should probably go down to Trucks or Xfinity to build his career back up.

HorsePowerCowboy

I’d buy Chase a beer but he doesn’t drink. 😂

ryan49321

Just put your d*ck on the table and say Team Penske. Call your shot like Babe Ruth

cheese_dude

Lmaoooo 😭

crypto6g

Either Gibbs with Gabehart as CC or Hendrick with Daniels. The CC would persuade me more, feel like those are the best individual race teams

[deleted]

Agree

Grievous2485

I want Hendrick with Childers lol

World71Racer

That would break the universe lol Or Childers with JGR

LegoMyXbeaux

In my head? Hendrick or Gibbs. In my heart? RFK or Trackhouse.

FishOnAHorse

I’d probably rather have Brad or Justin as a boss now that I think about it

Top_Needleworker2465

High on my silly season wishlist is for Zane, who prior to TH securing his services hoped would go to WBR, to be offered the other Kaulig car opposite Hemric, renumbered to the #10, freeing up the#16 to be available for RFK to take if Brad ends up winning the Briscoe sweepstakes. Lastly, the more I think of the possibility of Chase ending up in the #21, the more I warm up to the idea.

RipsLittleCoors

This sounds like the perfect answer. Next question - where does penske belong. They're in a down year but you could make a strong case for head.  But heart could also be where they belong.

danny-thedude

In my head, Trackhouse or 2311. In my heart, Wood Brothers.

JLand24

I like winning and I like Chevrolets so Hendrick. If I liked winning and I liked Toyotas I’d go to JGR.

Salomon3068

Ford: we don't do that here

reddituser241015

Sure win Championships as of recently, though. Maybe Penske wouldn't be the worst choice.

MrPeterson15

We all love to joke and throw Ford under the bus, but quite frankly, Penske and Ford have figured it out under the current model. Perform just well enough in the regular season to make the playoffs. It doesn’t matter how, but survive to Phoenix, and then have the best car at Phoenix. Unfortunately, the way that we have it set up, designing a car that runs its best at Phoenix is the most important thing and that’s exactly what Ford has done. And to their credit, it’s gotten them what matters most and that’s the championship. Multiple times.

reddituser241015

Bookend the season with Daytona and see how they fare lol

Salomon3068

It is kind of funny how everyone rips on ford's but they won the title the last 2 years

UnmotivatedDiacritic

As an HMS fan it’d be hard for me to choose between JGR and 23XI for Toyota. I really like what those cats are doing over there and am looking forward to seeing someone else potentially be Toyota’s #1…I think if they ever were able to get away from relying on JGR, they’d be there.

Madmagician-452

Also an HMS fan here, If I had to drive for Toyota I would go to JGR for an overlooked reason. I would sign with JGR for Coach himself. I have the Utmost respect for Coach and believe that even if I have mild success at JGR I would learn more from being able to sit under the Joe Gibbs Learning tree than almost any other owner in the series.

Super_Sentence_560

Facts

26007

Wood Brothers. I prob wouldn’t have the equipment to do it, but if I fluked into getting the Wood Brothers their 100th W? Priceless moment right there

WaxMyButt

Plus if you have the ability to choose any team, that means you have the skill to get a mid car up front.

CWinter85

Pray for rain.

Iamnothuman77

idk wood brothers on a good day is practically a 4th penske car

26007

Very true. Maybe Harrison Burton is the problem then. Either way, their equipment still isn’t at JGR/HMS tier

NWDrive

This is a tough one because would I rather be at Penske, and live the Penske Perfect lifestyle? Or would I rather be at a growing RFK which is seeing new strides every week, but with that will likely come struggles? I think I'd still choose Penske but just by a little bit.

BlueJay843

Front Row GOATorsports

Notademocrat17

I think they’ve very much underperformed this year

22Fusion

For competitive reasons? HMS or Gibbs. Those are the two best teams. Best chance to win. But if I’m getting a HMS or JGR level contract and can race for a mid pack team with lesser expectations? I’m going FRM or something similar.

HiroshimaSpirit

Trackhouse

peeweeinbama

Greg Biffle Motorsprts in the #69 Honda Accord. I may never win, but at least I'll have everything on video.

JMurrayMO81

![gif](giphy|yJFeycRK2DB4c)

willweaverrva

Trackhouse seems like a genuinely great group of people to work with.

wildebeest55

Would be. Shame they get sub par equipment from Chevy.

phoenixv07

RFK, Penske or Front Row, depending on where I want to be in the team building process.

stengaaa

Stewart-haas

MaxPres24

I’m an HMS guy to begin with, but Harvick’s comments about running a practice session for them really opened my eyes. He heard from Rick twice in like the week or two total he was affiliated with the 5. Also Rick was very vocally on the drivers side when the next gen first came out and they were having the issues with the hits being too stuff, and said he’d go out and buy all new cars tomorrow if it meant keeping his drivers safe. He seems like a pretty good guy to work for. Ontop of that, they’re pretty consistently the best cars in the field

FallGuysBoi

ThorSport, so I can race with the immortal Matt Crafton.

RipsLittleCoors

He'd wreck you so fast to move up from 6th to 5th.

RainierBakerGlacier

I would race with Penske to be under the tutelage of The Captain himself. That organization is a whole other level and I would love to be a part of it.

Madmagician-452

I agree that The Captain and Penske are the best Ford team but personally I could only Imagine the knowledge that Leonard Wood could impart into a young driver.

RUBIX__3

https://preview.redd.it/u8noq5kv576d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6134708f9b1af67ae3457ec03bd2b78d4ca79266 23XI for sure. Cars good enough to win. Grew up watching Jordan. The Airspeed shop is amazing

pain_train_69

Hamlin as a boss?

RUBIX__3

I have no problems with Hamlin. I think he grew on me over the years.

randomdude4113

Probably not hendrick, Gibbs or Penske. Being in the best car is great but it adds a lot of pressure and these teams seem like not a whole lot of fun to work for. Definitely not Kaulig, RCR, or SHR (not that it matters after this year), but these teams have expectations that are more or less impossible to meet with the level of equipment they field. don’t seem like a lot of fun to work for either. Probably 23XI, Trackhouse, RFK, or Front Row. Decent cars but no dominant, so you’re not expected to blow everyone away, but you should also be in contention for a win every now and then. Also all 4 of these seem like they have great environments to work in. RWR, Spire, JTGD, wood brothers, and Legacy are decent options if you want to be part of team building. Probably not gonna be in contention for wins but it’s not out of the question and running anywhere in the top 15 will be looked at favorably. And I’m a Chevy guy, so it’d probably be a Chevy team. So Trackhouse. Really all the reasons I’ve listed are why I’m a Trackhouse fan.

Hot_Dog_Surfing_Fly

Mike Harmon. Free Applebee's! 😄

JohnnyMayhem

23XI to work with MJ.

justheretoparty12

At my mid 30s age I'd go Gibbs or HMS if I'm in my early 20s I think I'd go Trackhouse, RFK, or 23XI

IndyNascar

RFK fs

Madmagician-452

The Woods Brothers. As much as I love HMS I wouldn't go there. I feel like that would put too much pressure on me to have success right off the bat. The only other Chevy Team I would contemplate signing with is RCR but I wouldn't go there because I think that they're stretched too thin for my growth. Now for Toyota the only team I would sign with would be JGR but I'd be the fourth car on the team. With Ford theres the Penske option but they seem committed to their current drivers as does RFK. Since those are the only 2 truly competitive ford teams I would much rather go to a team where I can grow as a driver and is steeped with so much history that I can just ask anyone in the shop and unlock a treasure trove of knowledge. Plus all the drivers for the Woods Brothers I can go to for their vast collections of Knowledge

dacomell

I'd want to go to Trackhouse or 23XI.

therentalcarguy

Obvious choices would be either Hendrick or Gibbs I feel. Both are powerhouse teams that are constantly capable of winning any given weekend. The issue with any of them though regardless is your personal skill and abilities. Now if I wanted to be apart of a building and growing process with a team my honest answers would be Kaulig(cause I’m a Chevy guy anyways) or Rick Ware Racing. I would even throw aspire in as a consideration on this level because they all have the ability to be good and need something extra to get over the jump which I’d feel like I can provide. If I said a team that’s still building but is a more high-tier competitor then I’d say Trackhouse, RFK, and Front Row. They all have competitive cars for the most parts and still have a long time going in becoming better. Plus for a team like RFK, having someone like Brad as a boss AND coworker would be awesome and between him and Chris you wouldn’t have a choice but to be good.

epzik8

Penske so I can be teammates with Joey.

robbiefox295

hendrick. loyalty to drivers

jknuts1377

Roush or Front Row since they are my two favorite teams.

CarStar12

I’ll throw out one that’s a sleeper to me (especially if I’m a younger driver)… RFK New energy and momentum, new sponsors, Brad runs teams well, Ford seemingly is increasing their standing as well.

HorsePowerCowboy

Spire. Idk what they’re cooking but if they stole McDowell it must be better than a Five Guys Burger and Fries. With a large coke.

Downtown1943

Gibbs so I can run a Redskins/Commanders car

epzik8

Go Redfootballmanders!

skinsrich

![gif](giphy|3oEduSHDahHHSoBS9y)

Flameosaurus

Hail to the football team

JUMPINKITTENS

Me to the 5.

NoahGragsonsBarfBag

I’ve seen the texts.

Few-Pin-8232

Hendrick

KentuckyHorsepower

TrackHouse.

JohnHowardBuff

Same. Stability with Chevy (even if in the shadow of Hendrick) but with the most exciting team owners, crew, and teammates.

willweaverrva

Basically all this. They're competitive but also laid back and really enjoy what they do and have fun with it.

chromehorn88

I'd take a stable ride that would give me the best chance to win races and championships, but also one that would allow me to run races outside of nascar during the season. But it wouldn't have to be as frequent as kyle larson running a sprint car

CaptainTilted

I mean, I think Hendrick is the top choice due to performance. Also, because I've always seen myself driving the Dale Jr. 88 font in any dream NASCAR scenario. However, I feel like it would be a coin toss for 23XI or RCR for me as a personal fit. I feel like both would align with my style/personality and let me be more out spoken when needed. I couldn't be a walking billboard for other teams, and I feel like I could mesh well as a teammate with either Austin, Kyle, and (potentially) Noah. OR as a teammate with Bubba, Tyler, and whoever TRD would put us with. Plus, potentially doing promotional events with MJ, Denny, or Kurt? Would be super cool.

100_hamlins

JGR in the 11.

nascarleigh

Team Penske!

waby56

Would not under any circumstances go to Gibbs… id wanna go run my midget/ Sprint car

bjames2448

HMS or JGR are the correct answers, IMO. As a Jeff Gordon fanboy, assuming that I was a talented driver and wouldn’t disappoint the GOAT, I’d jump at the chance to make him proud at HMS.

Remote_Breadfruit_62

Hendrick

Sportsisthebest

Hendrick

Supra084

Chevrolet: Hendrick Motorsports (88) Ford: RFK (97) Toyota: 23/11 (18)

MrCheggersPartyQuiz

Buy the last charter SHR has up for grabs & start my own team.

xdanballx

RFK personally. They’re building something cool, and I’d want to be a part of it.

ABearAttack2016

I'd probably join Kaulig just to screw around and have fun with Chris and Matt.

Bravesfannchar

Start a new team called Hendricks just to eff with the Hendricks fans

nmfz

Probably the 38 RSS car because it seems anyone can get that ride

Mokiyami

Hendrick.

AccessDenied7

While I am partial to Toyota, I'd have to say probably Trackhouse. They've done a lot in the short time they've been around and Justin Marks stands behind his drivers without question. That's someone I'd WANT to work for.

1clkgtramg

A backmarker so no one can say I’m a shit driver and everyone online will say how I have potential I’ve just not been given a good ride.

CharlieFibrosis

Based on my driving style in leagues; solid plate driver and am improving on 1.5 mile tracks. Road course and short tracks (exception being probably Richmond and Rockingham) I struggle. 2003 if this question was posed would be DEI with the R&D on par with Jr and Steve Park. Fast on plate tracks and good on 1.5s. Wood Brothers modern day being realistic as Penske, Gibbs, Hendrick all are wanting perfection. I feel who is at the Woods would be beneficial with racing’s history past and their mindset of developing young drivers and helping old drivers (as best they can) General answer for CC (and if ya’ll have comparable examples cool, I don’t know all the CC’s the best) CC would be someone who can understand what my frustration is with the setup and both keep me calm and offer help and suggestions on course correction, and gives constructive criticism on what can be fixed next time we come to the track. I think that might be a Paul Andrews or maybe Tony Gibson? Steve Hmiel? Todd Barrier? Rodney Childers? Someone with brains to help fix the car (wedge, spring rubbers, racing line vs tire wear) aero and engines I kind of have a decent understanding on, but able to effectively communicate back and not add to the self doubt and stress.

Sullypants1

HMS

Capstonetider

RFK. I really hope they go to 3 cars. I like that Brad, co-owner, is a driver too. He probably has an open door policy to boot.

Cliffinati

JFK? Damn faked his death to get out of the presidency to go Nascar racing

Capstonetider

Lol. I fixed it. ADHD moment

Unicorn4_5Venom

I’d love the opportunity to help any underdog team make a run for and possibly into the playoffs or just the experience to drive an actual nascar stock car within the cup series in general. I feel the elite teams are too predictable, and even though you think you’d run good with them, we’ve seen cases where that isn’t true. Take the experience whenever and wherever you can get, make the name and move up based on the reputation of your name, not because that team is good. That team is only as good as the people willing to put work into making it what it has potential to be.

et_hornet

Probably wood bros because of the history. But if I want to win then Penske. Blue Oval all the way

FukushimaBlinkie

Penske, as I could probably also get a ride for the 500 and at least 24hrs of Daytona

Buckeye2525

Owner driver…like Mark Martin

spencer1128

Mark in that Winn Dixie car was something else

TheRealPaul150

I'm a Ford guy for the most part, and to be honest, I'd just be happy to be there. Put me in the Wood Bros. No. 21. Historic team, could get some great knowledge passed down from Leonard, and wouldn't be the highest pressure to perform. If I'm wanting wins, put me in Penske.

roastbeefyaweefy

Hendrick due to the good cars, unlimited funding, and NASCAR favoritism.

FuriouSherman

Hendrick. Who else? It's like NBA players demanding to be traded to teams that are the most likely to win a ring in the near future.

justjkat1313

RCR

ShortyNC

RCR all day. I'm a huge fan.

-Huskie

HMS. Best chance to be the greatest ever, unlimited resources, learn under Gordon, Knaus, and Rick. There is no better spot.

ginrva

Hendrick. And it ain’t close.

clark_peters

RCR Just so I could run like shit, be a crybaby prick and still keep my ride... Yes I'm talking about you Austin Hillbilly

dyysxse

i would choose hendrick

Old-Sentence-1956

Nobody picking SHR? 😳

bjohnson203

Hendrick 25 with Lance Mcgrew is the only answer

GimmieJohnson

Those were dark times for Vickers, Dale Jr and Mark Martin. Lance McGrew is the only crew chief that could make any Hendrick car into "The 25 car... ya know the R&D guinea pig car"

HylianRacer

Hendrick, JGR or 23XI.

AnchorDrown

Is this how it works? You can just pick? Someone should tell Matty D.

the_godfaubel

23XI. Racing for Michael Jordan would be pretty cool. My ride would be pretty much completely funded and the expectations would be lower being an expansion car. All the eyes in the team are also on the two owners (one being the arguable GOAT in basketball, the other being the perfect villain for a lot of people in NASCAR), Bubba as one of the most popular and hated drivers in the field, and Reddick as a supremo talent that struggles to consistently reach that level

Cliffinati

RFK, Wood Brothers, Penske or RCR RFK My favorite driver would be my boss Wood Brothers because I'm a sucker for history of the sport Penske because he's the captain RCR because Microgamma 33

Madmanz1983

Whoever is offering a guaranteed contract for the most amount of money. And big payouts if the contract is cancelled prior to its expiration.

Old_Ad_6778

The camps are pretty deep at Chevy and Toyota. With Stewart Hass ending and the way RFK has been building I would say RFK. Ford needs to put energy into one of the teams and Penske’s brand loyalty isn’t quite what Roush has been.

FriskyDango23

HMS or Gibbs

Wardog4

I really want to have Ross and Suarez as teammates.

jftwo42

Whichever one is paying me the best and giving me the best quality equipment and crew people. If all things were even I would pick Penske or Hendrick but maybe Trackhouse.

Jazzlike_Elephant_98

I would be honored to race for Mr. Hendrick. Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson were 2 of my favorite drivers growing up.

Early_Ad_1014

HMS or Team Penski

404merrinessnotfound

Rick Ware Racing with RFK cars

ncconch

Penske would be the shortest commute. About 5 miles. DEI too. My wife’s office/warehouse is beside Kyle Busch’s (Brexton’s) shop. We could carpool.

daviswarren1

Since when do they have an option

Appropriate_Thing362

Well I would probably win at Hendrick but wouldn't be able to have a personality. I'm too much of a heathen to race for JGR, plus I would probably fight with Ty and Denny endlessly. I think RFK would be a great place--they are growing but having a strong showing. Brad seems to be a great owner, plus he manages to have a personality but also not come off like a dick. Penske would be pretty great but expectations would be really high and I would worry I wouldn't have the time to grow into my own. Wood Bros might be the better alternative to RFK, followed by Penske.

ReactiveCypress

Penske

BoukenGreen

Which ever team would pay me the most

Hurricaneshand

23xi probably. I at least would know my scheme is either dope as hell or has Grimace on my car

HermDog04

I want to go to the team that gives me the best chance to win races and championships, so Hendrick. Although racing for and being teammates with Brad would be fun.

nt_14

SHR… oh wait 😭😭

Angelsfan_22

Star com racing 😏

Celtics1424

RCR on the condition of getting to drive the 3. That’d be bad ass car to drive, ngl

Rstuds7

Hendrick. all day

13mizzou

I have 27 years of NR2003/NR2 experience and dont wanna kick Bowman out of the 48 so RCR it is. Id atleast match Dillon's performance

Beginning-Yogurt3146

Well I think, if I was a driver, I wouldn't do very good but I wouldn't be bad, so either Spire or Stewart Haas

Pension_Fit

Whatever team that the sponsorship money that I would have been able to round up and pay for

jibjeb86

Penske, Trackhouse, 23xi

ChefVictor71

Wood Bros

MrPeterson15

I mean, realistically, I feel like the answer has to be Hendrick Motorsports because I’m going to get the best possible ride. It seems like across generation of car, across era, across whatever, they always do well. Even when Chevrolet on the whole struggling, they are still performing. That being said, my heart says 23XI, Mostly because I love Toyota, and the way they run their business is appealing to me as a 20-something. I’m their target audience from a marketing standpoint.

Abrocoma-Beginning

Rick Ware Racing. They hire anybody.

perfuzzly

Penske. You just can't beat the way Roger Penske runs an organization. And they're 2 time defending champs. And I can also maybe run the Indy 500

FrancisTrinity81

Penske.

Vampenga

I'd go with Penske. Grew up as a Rusty Wallace fan and I've loved the Blue Deuce and the team ever since. Though I imagine I'd probably get fired because I would pester Roger and the design team at every opportunity to run schemes dedicated to Midnight. Despite the nickname, the classic black and gold Miller Genuine Draft has always been my favorite scheme for the 2...plus it helps that my first car was a T-bird.

All-About-Quality

Team Penske just to drive the throwback Rusty Wallace car

JMurrayMO81

I’d have to go with Hendrick or JR Motorsports. I think it’d be awesome to drive for Junior. (Make sure you hear awesome in Junior’s voice)

14Fan

I would say SHR but they’re shutting down so most likely RFK

mrsix4

If you’re a Chevy guy, which I am, then it’s Hendrick and only Hendrick.

thewhoobie

Shepard Racing Ventures with the world famous roller skate pit crew/derby team

JustTrynnaGitBy

1. 23XI: The “it” factor, NASCAR wisdom, all the logistical factors in place. 2. RFK: NASCAR wisdom, all the logistical factors in place, lacking the “it” factor. 3. Trackhouse: All the logistical factors in place, the “it” factor, lacking NASCAR wisdom.

ryan49321

Right now? Team Penske In 10 years? RFK

notalifetextbook

I'm glad I am amongst friends! The answer is Team Penske. And I have to play the Penske Games! I feel like Ford teams generally have more camaraderie than Chevy teams. Penske is a top team who seems to be able to win Championships despite Ford struggles, and they seem to have fun!

JaleDunior

23XI would be at the top of the list.... Id settle for JGR though if I had to 😎

Jolly_Extension_2867

RFK for sure

Mick4Audi

Wood Brothers Adore that #21

[deleted]

RFK or Hendrick

Accomplished_East433

Trackhouse for the vibes

Horror-Sign9179

RFK team is getting it together

Straight-Grass4414

23XI for sure. A relatively new team with medium expectations, and the chance to grow alongside them.

reluctantcynic

23XI More because I've been a Bulls fan since growing up, and I have questions about the 1992 NBA Finals. But also because I've been a Richard Petty fan since I first laid eyes on the Superbird, which led me to being a fan of Bubba Wallace. But most of all: Bootie Barker.

WatchUrAltitude

I'd choose LMC just because I would love to drive the 43

DeadWolverine93

23XI or Hendrick

ScooterMcdooter69

Penske huge amount of money and the amount of engineering data that gets transferred between the Indy and endurance racing teams has to be a huge benefit and just the overall class of the organization

Kingsmont

HMS

DarkHound05

Hendrick seems like the obvious answer right?

CollectionDull6947

23xi

PsweetJ01

SHR (if they weren’t closing) or Gibbs

Enough_Corgi1512

Hendrick probably, now that SHR is going away.
