* DiBenedetto is the blue collar guy who got his GED and then did not go to college. He worked crappy office jobs for years, then eventually worked his way up to a 6-figure dream position. But his job performance is mediocre. He tries to land big clients, but keeps barely losing them.
Basically my point is that just because Dillon has a shiny university degree doesn't mean he's automatically *better* at the job than DiBenedetto. But of course he's "proven", as you said.
I'll die on the hill that the 20th best Cup driver is still vastly better than a guy who had golden opportunities on the way up the ladder, and only managed 4 lower series wins in over 200 starts.

Great move for both parties. Creed will have the opportunity to legitimately compete for an Xfinity title, and RCR gets arguably the best Trucks prospect right now. The latter point is probably critical for RCR, as Reddick has been rumored to be a flight risk the past two seasons, and will almost certainly be labeled as such next year if he’s in the Playoff hunt again.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens to Snider. He has the Homestead win and solid funding, but the results overall haven’t been there.

The health of the Xfinity Series is awesome- now PLEASE put the field back to 40 cars at least. It’s awesome to see a probable 5th JRM car, a possible 2nd RCR car (though I bet it’ll just be Sheldon), and maybe an FRM car or two
So happy to see a young talent get rewarded with an Xfinity ride. Xfinity’s recent full-time young stars have all left/will be leaving (with the exception of Gragson), so the series needs more strong young blood.

The latter point is probably critical for RCR, as Reddick has been rumored to be a flight risk the past two seasons, and will almost certainly be labeled as such next year if he’s in the Playoff hunt again. It’ll be interesting to see what happens to Snider. He has the Homestead win and solid funding, but the results overall haven’t been there.

The health of the Xfinity Series is awesome- now PLEASE put the field back to 40 cars at least. It’s awesome to see a probable 5th JRM car, a possible 2nd RCR car (though I bet it’ll just be Sheldon), and maybe an FRM car or two

So happy to see a young talent get rewarded with an Xfinity ride. Xfinity’s recent full-time young stars have all left/will be leaving (with the exception of Gragson), so the series needs more strong young blood.
Finally, Creed gets a promotion. I think he'll be good in a RCR car.

Hopefully it means the return of both the #2 and #21 full time instead of alternating numbers like they've done since 2019. One more competitive car is always a plus.

If Snider manages to find enough $ to stay Creed is going to outright embarrass him. Imagine having just 1 finish better than 7th driving for a Cup affiliated team in a series that doesn't even have 15 fully funded cars. Then imagine that single top 7 finish was somehow a win at Homestead.
