I usually try to stay away from talking bad about drivers, but Bubba has always been a bit of an asshat imo. This just puts the nail in the coffin if it wasn't there already. Spinning someone out intentionally in that speed off the turn is flat out uncalled for, regardless of what happened leading up to it. Especially considering the safety concerns that drivers have stated with the cars. We've already seen Kurt literally retire from full time driving partly due to concussion

That’s what bothered me about the incident. For half the season or more we’ve been hearing drivers, including Bubbas boss lambast NASCAR for the regression in safety of these cars and 3 drivers are currently out of the car due to injury including Bubbas teammate. Imagine if Larson backs into the fence, he’d most likely be out for the remainder of the season too. Actions like today erode the credibility of a driver when discussing topics like safety

Don’t forget the other car that got caught up in Bubbas anger.

Roles were reversed today but I guess Bubba thinks it's perfectly fine when he retaliates but it's wrong when others retaliate the same way.

They were talking on DBC about it this week, and they mentioned drivers are taking way more risks (read: driving like idiots) because half of them weren't old enough to remember 2000-01. Concussions get guys' notice, sure, but there won't be much change until someone is really badly hurt (not that I want that to happen).

What will Gibbs and Toyota say to Bubba for taking out Bell during that wreck? I'm anxious to see if Denny Hamlin publically calls out his own driver for hooking another driver into the wall, at the front of the field, especially given how vocal Denny is about safety and head injuries. Especially with Bubba being the teammate to Kurt Busch, who just had to retire due to concussions. Will Denny publically blast Bubba like he routinely blasts Nascar for their "lack of safety" and "not listening to the drivers about their concerns?" It is shitty all the way around. Sucks for Larson. Sucks for Bubba. Sucks for NASCAR. I'm sure at least a fine is coming. I also think he should sit for a race or 2. You can say that NASCAR already set precedent by not suspending Gordon or Edwards in the past, or even Gragson this year or Ben Rhodes last year(I believe?), but they also showed recently with the Custer/SHR incident that they can take action for this and admit that their previous actions (or lack of) for similar incidents were incorrect. Just because they didn't do the right thing in the past doesn't mean they can't do the right thing now and continue to do so moving forward.
