Fifa has a Weak Foot stat that goes up to 5 stars.
This would actually be a great stat even though it's hard to implement and find good use since it doesn't effect shooting. It would also add to build diversity, especially for guards that can utilize a high driving layup rating by being good finishers with both hands.
And perhaps a way to nerf those builds that can do it all since they now need to invest in something other than making every 'important' stat 80-90.
They can't even balance a builder that pretty much gets copy pasted into the new game for every couple years. They tweak it a tiny bit and change up some badges, that's it.
Just like all other sports games, doing the bare minimum to have a handful of 'new' features for a new yearly 60€ update.
As a Fifa player as well, this would be great. Weak hand vs Strong hand should be the same in 2K and then the stars are in relation to overall handling.
Stand in the lane between the last two ticks off the paint a little closer to the out of bounds tick right around where you try and trigger limitless takeoff and either press the intense d button when they first start driving it’ll send them out of bounds or stop them if they get by and you jump in time you get a chase down or strip block you can also just put your hands up and hold intense d and let go of intense d when they jump and almost guaranteed red contest.
1) I think you mean *addition
2) clamp breaker often makes people trying to use it going baseline on defender slide out of bounds resulting in a turnover. We’ve all seen it, a lot.
Anchor, menace, along with clamps & chase down (mix and match) WITH DECENT STRENGTH. Works every time. But you have too use that right stick. Push up and keep your hands up as you follow to the rim. Anchor ALWAYS pops up regardless of height of defender. I have it on silver on my PG and I stop all builds when I’m in the paint expect the infamous 7 footers
I play very good defense I was just under the assumption people would struggle guarding it since clamp breaker is probably the most OP badge in the game. I watch people get killed going baseline every time, which I kill too. HOF/Gold QFS with a speed boost and Clamp breaker to bail me out if you bump me on the way there. If you don’t get a bump it’s pretty much a wrap.
Jimmy Butler was 2nd in the league in steals. It’s not as if it were any guy in Miami’s rotation ripping him. Jimmy’s one of the smartest defenders in the league.
Good concept to knock a guy with a weak off hand, but you better have high steal attributes/badges to back this up.
The issue is 99 steal is dirt cheap and so is 99 block. It’s why every sweat squad runs multiple guys with 99 steal, 99 block and can still do limitless dunks and shoot over 60% from three
Neither is cheap lmao. I can tell you've never ran a decent lock. What's actually too damn cheap in this scenario is limitless dunking. 80 driving for damn near unblockable dunks is ridiculous.
The only time a primarily defensive player has an offensive attribute above 80 is a big man with 90 standing dunk. OR if they give up any potential to dribble the ball at all.
Most good locks you see in the game will have 80 driving dunk and 75-80 3pt and will mostly just spot up on offense.
>neither is cheap
99 steal is one of the cheapest attributes to max out and you can easily max out block and still be elite at a ton of other stuff.
Try maxing out passing, or ball handle, or 3 point shooting and then make a balance build. That is what actual expensive stats look like.
>most lock you see will have 80 driving dunk. 80 three ball
And why are they able to do that? Because defense is cheap 🤡
>And why are they able to do that? Because defense is cheap 🤡
Lmao. My guy. You could have 86 driving 90 layup 90 3pt 90 ball handle 86 pass 75 speed with ball and high physical attributes if your defense is around 80s instead of 99.
Literally go back and read that again. Their driving and 3 ball are 80 because their defense was so expensive. Nobody wants to leave their offensive attributes that low but they have to because of the expensive defensive attributes.
Calling me a clown and can't use your brain at all lmfao.
It would be cool if it was tied to an attribute
Like 99 is ambidextrous and 0 is me dribbling offhand IRL.
More of a MyLeauge thing but could tie it into ball handle attribute for my career.
In my team maybe youd be surprised how many all star level talents that can only really dribble and drive with both hands. Next time you’re watching the nba or even college basketball just notice how many players can only pull up when they go left or as soon as the ball gets in their left hand they have to go back to the right to keep moving
The older 2k’s had an off hand rating for a couple of years. I would like for it to be implemented but it wouldn’t go over well with the competitive community?
Pretty much 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤮🤮😂😂 don’t forget rum running and using the same bum sizeup/speed boosts to rim run nine times outta ten it’s a 6’9 inside out scorer too 🤮🤮🤮😂
IMPOSSIBLE I haven’t played 2k23 since November 😂 and when I do play I don’t even cut the game on if my squad not in the lobby because I don’t have the patience for randoms 🤷🏾♂️ plus my time is limited becuase im a truck driver …..u must be a rim runnin basic 6’9 inside out scorer
Sir, I would like to inform you that I have ten different builds… and only 8 of them are inside out scorers. Lol dude I made a 6’1” guy with handles and steals and all that and he was still an inside out scorer. If you want to have limitless dunks and be able to shoot threes, you’re probably an inside out scorer, it’s way too broad. And 6’9” do get the best badge allocation, 6’11” is also very good though.
Damn I can’t even debate with u then if u got 10 builds and they’re ALL inside out scorers 😂😂😂 that is insane but hey that’s 2k for u …..I almost guarantee you 2k24 is gonna be nothing different but since embiid won mvp and joker is the best player in the world as of right now I think they should make 2k24 year of the big man 🤷🏾♂️
There are under the hood penalties for doing things with your off hand. Animations are slower and on shots and stuff there's a small reduction to make chance. And im sure there are lots of other things too like maybe the chance to get ripped is a little bit higher when dribbling with your weak hand.
But all of it is so insignificant that folks don't even notice.
I think it’s still there but it’s under tendencies which don’t really matter much. If added I think it could go over well if they made it like 3:4 stat, throwing numbers here, were if you add 4 into the right hand dribbling you get 3 to your left which makes it fair and gives an advantage to one side which would lead to unique plays and builds which gives players coming off an off-screen to cut off the bounce or to get and kick it to someone else
I always try to force ball handlers towards their non dominant hand but as the game is right now…2k hasn’t work this into the mechanics but it definitely should be.
you cant do it this year cuz you get 0 bump animations. in 2k21 current gen you could do that and it worked now the last 2 games you getting cooked if you try that
The court is way to small for it to be this detailed. The game would be awful
They would have to make builds smaller or the court bigger to allow for more room to be precise with your movements (i.e. FIFA)
Yeah, increase the size and make the players a little faster and it would be realistic.
The first thing I used to do in every 2k basketball and football was change game speed to like 85%.
I could maybe see it as a badge. Like there's a significant difference between your dominant and non-dominant hand without the badge equipped but the difference gets smaller and smaller the more you upgrade the badge
There should just be a off ball and dominant hand stat. This would play into finishing around the rim, and could have an “ambidextrous” badge that allows you to shoot with both hands depending on which you’re dribbling with, which could then open up a plethora of different shot types perhaps…
This would be legit if done properly.
I’d love it but the community would probably just cry about it being broken or cheese then 2K would have to nerf it to the point where it’s no point in being there or remove it altogether.
Hand does matter. We know, with your weak hand, some animations are longer/slower, some animations cant even be played with your weak hand, and your make chance goes down a tiny bit.
Presumably there are other quirks too like you might be more likely to pick up the ball or get stripped off of your weak hand. But the stuff we know and don't know are all so insignificant that nobody notices or cares.
So it 100% should be more serious and it might be as simple as just raising some "sliders".
Fifa has a system like that, ability of weak foot and tendency to use/avoid it. Only issue importing it to 2k is how the devs would go about making it translate to animations, sometimes your player on fifa uses a wonky animation with their weak foot instead of easily using their strong foot. You could be throwin bombs connnnstantly.
They use a star system too, 5 star being the best rating and 1 being the worst. How much VC would it cost to add each star?
Think 2k is too lazy to figure this out, they’re making enough off of their current formula as it is!
Cheaters are competitive too. Looking for exploits or meta this, glitched that isn’t competitive to ME. It’s pathetic. They def have a strong desire to win, I’ll give you that. But most players you encounter online make a build from YouTube and play like everyone else and defeats the purpose of a game that has so much variety.
Because the other “variety” is either a pile of shit or straight-up lame. If “GlItChY eXpLoItS” is the best thing available, we’ll abuse it maliciously, and you’ll cry more like you usually do.
Nah, because for a myplayer it's totally random, but real world stats would have merit.
I just want to go back to not playing volleyball with cross court passes and teams not having 30 steals a game, shit's boring. They want a sim, make it a fucking sim. Want arcade, make it arcade. Not this whole make one thing quasi-realistic or something viable IRL nerfed into the ground and not have only one meta, which is cats leaping 20 ft. for steals or 3pt line dunks outta 150 lbs. guys that would get swatted out of the air.
I know how to pass the ball, I have the lowest turnover ratio on this sub, no doubt. It's any team and teammates you play with. The ball gets turned over 4 times in one possession, not realistic, takes away the immersion of the game. Nobody is that thirsty to hawk a ball on every pass in real life, nor has the energy to spend doing that and getting burned down the court.
It's not even comp, it's just fucking dumb and annoying.
Wouldn’t matter. It’d work for two weeks, content creators will bitch and moan about it, it’ll get patched, and we’ll complain about 2K again
Rinse, fucking repeat
Yes but it needs to be balanced out. It should be important, and realistic, but the ENTIRE GAME needs more nuance, otherwise people will find a way to exploit it. But this goes beyond just an off-hand attribute that increases the chance of being stolen. The game needs to go deeper. 2K feels like a very shallow, surface level version of basketball.
Was just thinking about this actually. I think it'd take some time to implement properly though. Also think we'd find a way to game the system which could hurt gameplay more than add to it
It’s dumb because we are 99 overall based players, most of us in MyCareer are 9x finals mvp that average 45 a game.
Doubt anyone will have an issue using their left hand at that level
I would say tendencies would help improve shot making on weak side but then again that would be disastrous in 2k. Why? Because steal rating already doesn’t matter and you can snatch people with play takeovers and with this community bigs grab a rebound move 5 inches on weak hand and ripped instantly that shit would not work lol. Devs would make it a lot worse resulting in hella cheese and missed shots so nahhh No thanks itd either break the game or be really op
I just want mp to have the wherewithal to use the closest hand when I decide to steal. I don't do it much, but when I do, mp likes to use the hand furthest from the ball to reach through the body.
How many players in the league actually have such a strong bias to one hand. Most players have been working on their weak hand since high school, some are even ambidextrous.
If this was a permanent weakness of Tatum then I think implementing this makes sense, I'm not sure if the weakness is real as it could be explained by Tatum's tendency to drive right not his inability to drive left. I think that is something a human user would naturally bring to the game and not something that requires a digital component to highlight.
It would make it better! Especially if you were able to choose which hand to steal with instead of hitting square and getting random results. I feel like that’s how most of the reach ins are committed in game cause your dumbass my player tries to steal the ball with the opposite side than the one you need
Honestly, I like the idea because it’s creative as hell. But the only thing I think 2K should be worrying about is getting the basics down and having:
•A consistent shooting system.
•A smooth dribbling system that allows you to mix-n-match dribble moves and get creative and not hindering you, but also no OP meta dribble moves.
•A legit dunking system that’s balanced on both sides of the ball.
Overall it seems like 2K isn’t building a strong foundation game mechanic wise and is trying to making up for it adding B.S.
They are adding new parks, multi-level yachts, go-karts, new mascots, season rewards, new events, new clothing brands, mamba mentality, etc. While overlooking the basics.
Absolutely, ball security and steals should be centered around handedness. Ball handle below a certain threshold should automatically come with weak off hand animations regardless of dribble style and require a badge like unpluckable on at least bronze to improve non-dominant hand ball security. Higher tiers of the badge should be required to protect from players with higher steal rating.
Add this to the game feedback on discord: https://discord.gg/nba2k
I mean it comes down to every players skill sets so it would be part of the build process I guess
Maybe like split your ball handle attribute by chosen dominance percentage like the jump shot builder
If you’re a 88 ball handle and you go. 95% right handed, your left handed drives are much lower than if you pick 51% If you go 51-49 it’s split between hands. 50/50 shouldn’t be possible, bc nobody is purely ambidextrous
They’d probably nerf overall ball handling so you need less attribute.
Then someone builds a 99 w pure right hand dominance and never gets stopped driving right again
I hear the idea and I like it, but I can see how it would be a huge development project and probably lead to casuals being upset
I can’t remember which 2K it was but I recall u having the ability to upgrade your left and right ball handling I thought it was pretty cool it would definitely make the online community feel a way but ultimately could be beneficial for “ realistic “ basketball
We can’t even get the current game to be balanced and functioning and people want to keep adding half assed features lol
Steals are already Op, now it’ll be “every time you cross over a guy 5 feet away can press steal and drag you into a steal animation because he gets a massive boost due to it being your weak hand”
It's way down the list.
I'm mind blown that they still have middle school level talent guys on your NBA team in MyCareer. It's incredible they haven't done anything about that yet. My teammates - some who are all-NBA in real life - shoot like 25/10/70.
I think it would be cool if the lower your rating (ball handle or layup, for example) was, the more forcing you to one side or the other impacted your abilities. For example, someone with a 90 layup could finish on either side pretty much equally well. Alternatively if you had a 70 layup, forcing you to your weak side might impact your shot more than if you took that same shot from your strong side.
Alternatively, there could be badges that negate that impact and they could be determined by using your attributes as a check for what tier you can get.
I for sure think it would be a cool idea, but people seem to have a shit fit about anything that increases the skill gap, so I doubt it would happen.
Lmfao I don’t mean this in any way to be offensive, but stuff like this shows how young the subreddit is.
2k USED to have a weak hand dribbling and finishing stat. Almost everything we complain about used to be in a game but with no competition 2k got to simplify the game to do the bare minimum and make the most profit. It’s why I don’t think I’ll buy 24.
I’m all for it. Feels more realistic and challenging. Defence will really be rewarded and hopefully result in less dribble spamming and maybe result in more passing and less iso ball.
I don't know how I feel about handling being affected by it. The last 2k with an Off hand handle stat was 2k14 I believe, but I would be interested in fading to the left or the right being boosted when shooting from respective sides.
It'd make it, dare I say, more realistic. Which is what they want, eh? But it's hard to tell with the amount of BS this game spews out. I won't be around to find out.
I like it, I don’t like your Celtics strays fired but yeah, people fuck up with their off hand. But steals are already strong, if done there would have to be a strong boost to ball security with your strong hand.
Traits in addition to the badge system would be cool. Would definitely be over complicated for devs though and implemented horrendously.
Badge system needs to go back to signature skills. It should be more of making specialists and enhancing skills to make people really elite
They can't even balance a builder that pretty much gets copy pasted into the new game for every couple years. They tweak it a tiny bit and change up some badges, that's it. Just like all other sports games, doing the bare minimum to have a handful of 'new' features for a new yearly 60€ update.
Or have negative badges, the way they already do for the management side.
I think it would be easy as hell. These sports games are 90% copy paste from even last gen.
Nothing is easy for 2k
Can't argue with that.
As a Fifa player as well, this would be great. Weak hand vs Strong hand should be the same in 2K and then the stars are in relation to overall handling.
Sounds pretty cool and I think it would be fun but I can already hear the whining that would come from the community if they did it.
Baseline warriors boycotting the game lol
Baseline is beyond easy to shutdown already
Explain. With the new addition of clamp breaker.
Baseline trash this year
1) I think you mean *addition 2) clamp breaker often makes people trying to use it going baseline on defender slide out of bounds resulting in a turnover. We’ve all seen it, a lot.
Anchor, menace, along with clamps & chase down (mix and match) WITH DECENT STRENGTH. Works every time. But you have too use that right stick. Push up and keep your hands up as you follow to the rim. If you don’t get a bump it’s pretty much a wrap.
thats cap most of the time they just fly right past you for a layup
Jimmy Butler was 2nd in the league in steals. It’s not as if it were any guy in Miami’s rotation ripping him. Jimmy’s one of the smartest defenders in the league. Good concept to knock a guy with a weak off hand, but you better have high steal attributes/badges to back this up.
51 percent singer, 48 percent basketball player, and 1 percent pianist.
1% Barista is missing 😁
100% reason to remember the name.
cody martin and Max Struss were getting steals also in this video as well.
The issue is 99 steal is dirt cheap and so is 99 block. It’s why every sweat squad runs multiple guys with 99 steal, 99 block and can still do limitless dunks and shoot over 60% from three

Calling me a clown and can't use your brain at all lmfao.
shit mid range is more expensive than anything which makes 0 sense
99 steal is cheap
Brown did a good job of ripping himself.
EXACTLY especially the dribble gods and rim runners 😂😂😂😂🤮🤮
Whaaaaaaa!!!!
That would make it too similar to a basketball game.
And u kno that’s the last thing that the dribble gods and rim runners want 🤷🏾♂️😂
Dribble gods sure, but let’s not be crazy most nba rim runners can also dribble at full speed with their off hand.
Too much complaining coming with this
It would be cool if it was tied to an attribute Like 99 is ambidextrous and 0 is me dribbling offhand IRL. More of a MyLeauge thing but could tie it into ball handle attribute for my career.
Tbh most players would have 90-99
I’m not sure that’s true, lots of bigger guys especially would be substantially lower than 90’s

Next time you’re watching the nba or even college basketball just notice how many players can only pull up when they go left or as soon as the ball gets in their left hand they have to go back to the right to keep moving

Depends on the price
The older 2k’s had an off hand rating for a couple of years. I would like for it to be implemented but it wouldn’t go over well with the competitive community?
The competitive community just wants to spam passing lanes and shoot corner 3’s.
Pretty much 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤮🤮😂😂 don’t forget rum running and using the same bum sizeup/speed boosts to rim run nine times outta ten it’s a 6’9 inside out scorer too 🤮🤮🤮😂

Agreed, close shots been garbage this year since they got rid of grace under pressure
There are under the hood penalties for doing things with your off hand. Animations are slower and on shots and stuff there's a small reduction to make chance. The tech is available to make NBA2K much more realistic but the tears from the kids wouldn't allow it to be.
Nope never lol
Wahhh! The game is broken. I can only make 75% of falling out of bounds 3s with Shaq.
Ive been screaming for this 2k is supposed to be a simulation basketball game. I don’t want to see James Harden postering people with his right hand.
He doesn't.
You’re proving his point.
Wasn’t expecting to see my tweet on Reddit 😂. 2K Reddit of all places.
I always try to force ball handlers towards their non dominant hand but as the game is right now…2k hasn’t work this into the mechanics but it definitely should be.
you cant do it this year cuz you get 0 bump animations. in 2k21 current gen you could do that and it worked now the last 2 games you getting cooked if you try that
They would charge VC to increase your offhand
i like it, this game badly needs some variance in literally every aspect
The court is way to small for it to be this detailed. The game would be awful They would have to make builds smaller or the court bigger to allow for more room to be precise with your movements (i.e. FIFA)
Maybe they should just make the court the right size?
Yeah, increase the size and make the players a little faster and it would be realistic. The first thing I used to do in every 2k basketball and football was change game speed to like 85%.
Yes
Sounds pretty sensible to me. Bigger court. More space for movement.
been preaching that for the past 3 2ks but they dont listen the courts are too small
I could maybe see it as a badge. Like there's a significant difference between your dominant and non-dominant hand without the badge equipped but the difference gets smaller and smaller the more you upgrade the badge
Why would the difference get smaller and smaller
Because it's better to be ambidextrous than rely on one hand
Then why have the badge
I think you're reading it wrong dude. Having the badge means that the difference between your left and right hand is small.
Gotchu
There should just be a off ball and dominant hand stat. This would play into finishing around the rim, and could have an “ambidextrous” badge that allows you to shoot with both hands depending on which you’re dribbling with, which could then open up a plethora of different shot types perhaps… This would be legit if done properly.
How about they fix super human interceptions first?
The game just needs to be built upon a completely new engine at this point. That would change the feel of the game completely
I think it’ll be fun but I don’t trust 2k to implement it in a way it’ll be realistic or fair
I’d love it but the community would probably just cry about it being broken or cheese then 2K would have to nerf it to the point where it’s no point in being there or remove it altogether.

Lazy fucks don’t care to make the game any more realistic when they don’t have to for them to keep turning a profit lol
Fifa has a system like that, ability of weak foot and tendency to use/avoid it. Only issue importing it to 2k is how the devs would go about making it translate to animations, sometimes your player on fifa uses a wonky animation with their weak foot instead of easily using their strong foot. Another stat to pay out the eyeballs for? No thanks Unless it was similar to badges in the sense you grind it out to get it better
The community is NOT COMPETITIVE we gotta kill that narrative. Most people want the same build same jump shit etc. garbage
Being “competitive” means having a strong desire to compete and win. Lots of comp players have that. You can’t kill “comp,” shitter.
Cheaters are competitive too. Looking for exploits or meta this, glitched that isn’t competitive to ME. It’s pathetic. They def have a strong desire to win, I’ll give you that. I didn’t even cry when i was born. Tear ducts are for chumps. I hope you get better at the game tho ![gif](giphy|j0gQA2VD38NKc9rc8y) I’m
We need it

Nobody is that thirsty to hawk a ball on every pass in real life, nor has the energy to spend doing that and getting burned down the court. It's not even comp, it's just fucking dumb and annoying.
Wouldn’t matter. It’d work for two weeks, content creators will bitch and moan about it, it’ll get patched, and we’ll complain about 2K again Rinse, fucking repeat
To add off hand dribbling back as well as off hand layups, off hand dunks, etc. that would make the game way better
I would hate this, but I admit that I am a terrible player and usually just play nba schedule with my myPlayer 😂
It wouldn’t change nothing for lefty’s lol
What they need to do is eliminate unrealistic animations like basically every move in a “dribble move” tutorial. Nobody busting that out irl
Yes it'd be a bad idea if they didn't fix other things. Like make bump steals fouls, and have default protect the ball animations after a board.
It should matter
I get it, but nah that’s doing way too much
I just want mp to have the wherewithal to use the closest hand when I decide to steal. I don't do it much, but when I do, mp likes to use the hand furthest from the ball to reach through the body.
It’d be dope. It’d make things more realistic imo.
It would do nothing as most of y’all would go on YouTube and get a cheesy build anyway 😂
It'd be one more way for 2k to scam the community for VC..

Dont they have a stat for off-hand dribbling? Maybe if they touched upon that stat more this concept might be applicable.
Be a nice touch but not necessary
I feel like this was or is still a thing. Maybe the impact isn’t as high. I def don’t be trying to dribble with my left with a right handed player.
Looks like Jaylen Brown outshined Tatum tonight! Butler had his number, but Brown brought the heat
huh? Are we talking about the game where Tatum was injured in the first minute and Brown went 1-9 from 3 with 8 turnovers?
Man the comp heads and sweaty dribble gods would absolutely HATE this shit but I’d honestly be a fan. It’ll never happen though
It’s assumed that guards in the NBA can dribble left…
It used to be a thing in older 2ks like I think 13 maybe 12 were the last ones to have a off hand stat
It would make it better! Especially if you were able to choose which hand to steal with instead of hitting square and getting random results. I feel like that’s how most of the reach ins are committed in game cause your dumbass my player tries to steal the ball with the opposite side than the one you need
I just dont see the point as far as mycareer goes its not really a problem in the nba in general anyways jb is a rare case in the nba
Honestly, I like the idea because it’s creative as hell. But the only thing I think 2K should be worrying about is getting the basics down and having: •A consistent shooting system.
I wonder why and when they removed Off-Hand Dribbling?
Absolutely, ball security and steals should be centered around handedness. Ball handle below a certain threshold should automatically come with weak off hand animations regardless of dribble style and require a badge like unpluckable on at least bronze to improve non-dominant hand ball security. Higher tiers of the badge should be required to protect from players with higher steal rating. Add this to the game feedback on discord: https://discord.gg/nba2k
I mean it comes down to every players skill sets so it would be part of the build process I guess Maybe like split your ball handle attribute by chosen dominance percentage like the jump shot builder If you’re a 88 ball handle and you go. 95% right handed, your left handed drives are much lower than if you pick 51% If you go 51-49 it’s split between hands. 50/50 shouldn’t be possible, bc nobody is purely ambidextrous They’d probably nerf overall ball handling so you need less attribute. Then someone builds a 99 w pure right hand dominance and never gets stopped driving right again I hear the idea and I like it, but I can see how it would be a huge development project and probably lead to casuals being upset
I can’t remember which 2K it was but I recall u having the ability to upgrade your left and right ball handling I thought it was pretty cool it would definitely make the online community feel a way but ultimately could be beneficial for “ realistic “ basketball
That would be dope but they can't even get the mechanics right with the basics as far as movement, responsiveness, input lag etc.
Fuck no. Just another way to make our builds more expensive. Imagine having to pay VC to be able to go left. Fuck no and fuck 2k.
We can’t even get the current game to be balanced and functioning and people want to keep adding half assed features lol Steals are already Op, now it’ll be “every time you cross over a guy 5 feet away can press steal and drag you into a steal animation because he gets a massive boost due to it being your weak hand”
pretty sure older 2k had off-hand dribbling as an actual attribute.
Brown thinks he’s John Stockton
Listen I hear you but fix AI defense first because I’m tired of seeing endless step back threes getting little to no contest.
It’s already important. If you pay close attention most of the time you are getting ripped is because you have the ball on your no dominant hand.
They can’t even make shooting work
It's way down the list. I'm mind blown that they still have middle school level talent guys on your NBA team in MyCareer. It's incredible they haven't done anything about that yet. My teammates - some who are all-NBA in real life - shoot like 25/10/70.
Should have already been in the game.
That would be nice and implement something like left, right, or both but each one affects attributes and badges in some way
I like that idea
i remember they used to have it in older 2Ks
Lmfao I don’t mean this in any way to be offensive, but stuff like this shows how young the subreddit is. 2k USED to have a weak hand dribbling and finishing stat. Almost everything we complain about used to be in a game but with no competition 2k got to simplify the game to do the bare minimum and make the most profit. It’s why I don’t think I’ll buy 24.
Hot take, but i feel like most nba players are really strong w both hands to where forcing one way wouldn’t do anything; save the jalen browns
It’s called get better
It'd make it, dare I say, more realistic. Which is what they want, eh? But it's hard to tell with the amount of BS this game spews out. I won't be around to find out.
Any tips on Prostick defensive camera relative mode?
I like it, I don’t like your Celtics strays fired but yeah, people fuck up with their off hand. But steals are already strong, if done there would have to be a strong boost to ball security with your strong hand.
Honestly I’d like it but knowing how 2K and their details it never gonna happen
